The restaurant is well-known for its root beer floats, but since we were already stuffed from our meal, we'll have to save that for our next visit. I ordered my go-to, the mushroom burger, with fries and a drink. My husband went with the "Low and Slow" burger and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were absolutely delicious--thin and crispy, exactly the way I like them! The setup is simple: you order at the register and then find a seat. The atmosphere is fantastic, like stepping back in time with all the antique objects decorating the space. I especially loved the "Elvis wall" near the women's restroom. Elvis holds a special place in my family's heart, so that was a really lovely touch. Great food and a wonderful vintage vibe. We'll definitely be back to try those floats! read more

I was able to pull right in front the location where there were a few more open parking spots . So parking was fairly easy. I ordered a regular pops burger - the original , a regular fry and a regular size Dr Pepper. Added cheese, onion and lettuce and Paid around $12 , pricing seemed fair considering the economy were currently in. I placed my order to go , The burger was decent, and smaller than the pictures I'd come across on the restaurants facebook page and google pictures. For me , there's nothing to really brag about but also nothing to complain about either. Fries were decent as well but the ice was amazing and comparable to sonic. Not sure if this location has a juke box, because I didn't see one . I was too entertained by the rest of the decor , but I feel that's really all that this place would need for it to be the perfect hangout spot for me lol . One employee was on the phone for almost 10+ minutes and didn't even acknowledge our presence. About 10 minutes later, a second woman came from the back, also on the phone. Stumbled upon this place on Google maps. We saw that it was highly rated and wanted to give it a try. I will have to say, it lived up to the hype on Google and Yelp. It was quite busy when we made it there. There was a long wait for our food, but there were plenty of things to look which was a nice distraction. Its no wonder why we hadnt been to this establishment in over 5 years. Ordered for 5 adults, and waited roughly 25 minutes for the order to come out. This was for take out, and of course they forgot an order of onion rings. No biggie, just 3-4 more minutes... NOPE. 10 more minutes go by and only the cashier had the courtesy to ask why we were still there. We told her (who was very kind) that we had told the runner they had missed our onion rings and had been waiting for almost 10 minutes. She took the initiative and went back to the cooks to obviously sort this out and get us home. She came back with a cash refund... no onion rings. This is 6:15 pm and they are not only out of onion rings, but they couldnt even communicate to the front of house that this is the case. We got home at 7 and its a 3 minute drive. Now our shakes have melted into soup, and by the time we FINALLY get home, our fries are stone cold and EVERY single burger is a wet mess because the buns had now absorbed every ounce of liquid put onto them. We were sitting for an HOUR and no one said ANYTHING the lady that took our order was so nice but she said it would be out in a couple minutes after a while the person cleaning tables came out to obviously do her job but didn't say ANYTHING to us not a sorry we're running behind or sorry about the wait it will just be a little longer or ANYTHING and after waiting 45 mins the people that had just arrived got their food first. so i went up to the counter and asked how much longer because we had been there an hour and the lady( glasses tattoos on her neck) looked at me and said it will be next up. not an apology or an ounce of concern for the amount of time we had been there. after we FINNALY got our food IT WAS COLD AND OUR FRIES HAS NO SEASONING!!!! We purposely came here with our granddaughters because of the name of the place, they call me Pop's. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the food and service. The burger was average and bun was soggy, I found a hair in it. My wife's salad was iceberg lettuce and looks like a bag salad. The kids mini corn dogs look like something out of a box from Sams. We ordered our food at 1:35pm and it was served at 2:40pm OVER 1 HOUR to get it. The grandkids (2&4) we being really good but the wait was really testing their patience as with our too! read more
