Saw on Instagram, restaurant didn't disappoint. Staff super friendly, immediately acknowledged when we walked in. Stunning ambiance that changes vibes from one room to the next. Cocktails were on fire! Expensive but they all deliver. Owner visits all tables to welcome and to inquire how we heard of them. The food was very good. The meat has a great fresh taste and the halibut awesome with the snap peas.

I went out to dinner either a friend who chose this cute farm to table restaurant. Service here was impeccable. Everyone we came into contact with was so friendly. We ordered the hog fries as an appetizer and they were really good. Very cheesy and the truffle flavor was great. We both ordered the catch of the day which was red snapper with a chipotle cream sauce. It was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you haven't been

The atmosphere is very friendly and gives the feeling of home. The food is so fresh, not too salty but not bland either. The servers know the menu well which helps when it comes to recommendations. Burger was cooked great and full of flavor. Can't wait to come back and try the fall/winter seasonal menu.

Enjoyed a quiet dinner here last month. A very "Clue-inspired" atmosphere with book wall paper & a dimly lit atmosphere, very cool! Enjoyed the Truffle Hog fries (wow, tasty!), The Bones (also tasty & the Chef's recommendation), Petite Green Goddess Salad (good, but served too heavy on the dressing), The Walser Farms Special, Chicken Fried steak (yummy!!) & banana pudding. Top-notch service & room temperature on point. Fresh coffee was brewed for our table, too. Excellent. Would definitely return!

I traveled from Houston after having seen this restaurant on a reel. Super excited for the experience, I brought 3 others with me. Our company of 4 arrived on time and was seated quickly by the night manager. As we reviewed our menus and placed our orders with our server, he proceeded to loudly announce the COST of each item we ordered, as if we didn't see the price on the menus in front of us. He also repeated that behavior with the table to the right of us but did NOT repeat that behavior with the "other" tables in our area. He also felt it necessary to loudly declare our bill in that quaint space. In my 30 years of working in the culinary industry, I have never experienced anything like that! Food - 10/10. Server - 2/10.

Steak & eggs, full of flavor and delicious.

Sarah was our waitress and she was awesome. Super attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were very delicious. The ambience was very cozy.

Me and my group had our Christmas Gift Exchange here. It was a suggestion by one of the girls in the group. This hidden jewel was a pleasant surprise! I enjoyed my food and I can't wait to go back to try the brunch!

We loved finally being able to check out the Porch Pour in Midlothian, TX. We made a reservation online for a Sunday evening, which wasn't necessary as they weren't very busy at 6pm on a Sunday. We sat out on the patio and it was great weather so that was a plus. The seating out there was plenty and comfy. The wait staff and host were very pleasant and helpful during our visit. Our food was ok, I had the special that day and it was really god, but the new york strip was a little fatty for our taste. We also ordered the Sweet Fire Flatbread which i didn't really like the cheese spread they had on it but the other toppings were good. Overall this is a great place to go have drinks or dessert and just hang out or for happy hour. Oh, we also had the bread pudding for dessert and it was Fabulous! definitely recommend getting dessert.

Our 2nd time here. We found this little gem on Yelp last year and loved it. Came back today for brunch. They change me yes very six months so a different menu for sure. I got the cowboy hash and my lady got the biscuits and gravy. Both were incredible. Mimosa and Bloody Mary were delish. Tina took care of us and was delightful. We'll be back for sure!

Hidden gem alert!…read more The Dessert Bar in Midlothian is absolutely worth the hunt, even with the construction mess making it harder to get to right now. Once you find it, though, you'll be glad you did. This spot combines two of my favorite things: decadent desserts + a legit full bar. Whoever came up with this concept deserves a medal. What I had: Raspberry Almond Cake - 5/5. Moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The almond balanced the raspberry perfectly, and the slice was massive. Sharing is optional, but I didn't. ;) Chocolate Chip Cookie - 5/5. Giant, warm, and delicious. It had that perfect chewy-meets-crispy texture, and thankfully wasn't dry (a common downfall for oversized cookies). Old Fashioned - 5/5. Honestly, one of the best I've had anywhere. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and strong. I wasn't expecting cocktail game this good at a dessert spot; pleasantly surprised! They've only been open about three months, and I really hope more people discover them because this concept is so good. A cute, cozy vibe, amazing desserts, and strong cocktails? Yes, please. Do yourself a favor: find this place.

Stopped into The District in Midlothian after a long afternoon of house shopping with my husband…read moreand sister because nothing fuels real estate decisions like hunger, dreams and hope. The place was fully booked, but the hostess saved the day and offered us lounge seating on the sofas. Honestly, it felt a little VIP...like we'd accidentally wandered into the cool kids' corner. I halfway considered putting on my sunglasses indoors just to commit to the moment, maybe even asking if they offered bottle service in the lounge. Within 10 minutes we were settled in and already getting excellent service. And as if the vibe wasn't good enough, there was a one‑man show crooning jazzy tunes in the background. He was smooth, talented, and added just the right soundtrack for an early dinner. Think "speakeasy energy," but suburban‑friendly. Now, the food. My husband ordered the Crunchy Pig sandwich, my sister went for the half rack of ribs, and I claimed the smoked turkey BLT. Everything hit the table about 20 minutes later, hot, fresh, and so lip‑smacking tasty that we inhaled every bite before remembering we meant to take pictures. My apologies to the food‑photo purists; trust me, the plates were camera‑ready before we destroyed them. If you find yourself wandering around The District in Midlothian, do yourself a righteous favor and grab a memorable meal here. Great food, great service, great music, and apparently great sofas.

The vibe is upscale but the prices don't say that. The portions are perfect. The menu looks great, not too many random options. It seems like what they do, they do well.
