As you walk in you can see some of the industrial brewing equipment, but most of the space is dedicated to an area where you can sit, eat, and drink The staff is very nice and helpful, the space is inviting, the beer is tasty Some tips: If you are on the fence about some of the more unique beers on tap, ask the bartender is you can try the beer first and they will pour you a taste. I would also recommend doing the beer flight option to try smaller portions of a handful of beers. Lastly, each Friday they have a pub trivia event where you can test your knowledge and win prizes. Speaking of beers, this local Arlington brewery has several that give you a good buzz with a unique taste. The Do I Make you Thorny sour ale has a raspberry touch to it and a pleasure to sip. The other beer we tasted is the Love is an alien IPA. This is smooth with a good hoppy kick. The shortthorn blonde ale was another one we wanted but sadly, sold out. The menu had plenty of IPAs to taste so they specialize in hoppy beers. I heard the pizza here is fantastic so that'll be something to try for next time along with other beers. There are 2 floors for dining and drinking. The architecture outside and the decor inside including the bathroom gives lets say "Speak Easy" vibe from the roaring 20s. The hostest and our server were both very nice and attentive. Thanks to them and to Bankhead for providing them. I had the Mediterranean Chicken and a BrewDaddy Ultra Lite beer. The chicken breast was tender and delightful. The sauce along with the cheese and fresh herbs covering it gives that Mediterranean flavor. There was also a little hummus on the side. The mashed potatoes were soft and creamy. Again, these were quite delicious. The broccoli spears were I think roasted. Put all 3 together and you get an excellent tasty meal. My beer as in the name, was very lite and kind of a Mich Ultra and Bud Lite blend. So kind of like drinking water. I also tried the Low Beams and the Wit Me One More Time. I didn't particularly like either one of them but I would get the Wit Me One More Time again as the name implies. Anyhows, it was a good time and an enjoyable meal! Thank you Bankhead!

The dining room is separated from the bar area. It has 10' side walls and open, high ceilings. There's a couple of TVs in the dining room and a couple of ceiling fans. There's HVAC vents hanging down and there are 2 mini splits. It's nearly 100F outside and it's comfortable enough (not real cool) in here. Our server, Penelope, was quite pleasant. She was able to answer our food questions and give us recommendations. They use handheld order taking devices. I like that. I had a Shiner Boch to start and my wife had a Margarita rocks - no salt. Both drinks came out lightning fast. My beer was nice and cold and her margarita was real tasty and not too sweet. For dinner, I ordered the smaller order of Fried Catfish with a side. I had Tots. The fish filet was large, thin-battered, crispy and hot. The tots side was huge, crispy, hot and tasty. A great fried food meal. Took some of it home too. My wife ordered the Street Tacos. She was able to eat 2 of the 3 and she enjoyed them. Their homemade salsa was good and it had some heat to it. We brought her 3rd taco home. Pricing was fair. Service was great and fast. Good tasted great. We'll be back to the Break Room.

Then as things were nearing completion, I remember seeing a couple of employees somewhere and asking about it, and they said that it would be in "phase two". Then sometime later, I remember a construction guy telling me, "there ain't no phase two, what you see with Texas Live is what you got, there isn't going to be any expansion". I could never find anything out. Then about six months or so, someone who works there told me it was being built in the corner, and would be open soon. I figured I'd believe it when I saw it, and now it's here. It's a nice space, with a separate entrance. Really went upscale more than you would see in most taprooms. I think only the Choctaw Lounge is nicer, and you can't hardly get into that place. The bar top is almost as long as the room, lots of stools. A good amount of pub type tables, and a larger community table, along with some low height chairs and tables. All pretty nice furniture. Couple of roll up doors open into the patio during nicer weather. My couple visits, I've seen several beers that I've never seen on tap anywhere else. Revolver is supposed to be doing several beers for this location only. Lot's of different beers, and this is probably the only place you'll see with this many of their beers on tap at any given time. I've done the brewery events in Granbury and they usually have maybe 6-8 beers on tap. I'm seeing 10-15 different beers on tap here. You can also get food in here, most of it items from Lockhart BBQ. But there are a couple things unique to the taproom, including the chili. The chili is pretty good, but the jalapeno cornbread is fantastic. Anyway, really nice, great place to hang out. Plenty of TV's and usually some decent music in the background. Prices are higher, which is expected because of the location, but I've paid about $7-$10 for different beers. Looking forward to more special beers. Too bad all the beer snobs hate Revolver, some good new stuff in here.
