As you walk in you can see some of the industrial brewing equipment, but most of the space is dedicated to an area where you can sit, eat, and drink The staff is very nice and helpful, the space is inviting, the beer is tasty Some tips: If you are on the fence about some of the more unique beers on tap, ask the bartender is you can try the beer first and they will pour you a taste. I would also recommend doing the beer flight option to try smaller portions of a handful of beers. Lastly, each Friday they have a pub trivia event where you can test your knowledge and win prizes. Ended up talking to the record store employee for a good amount of time and he was a stellar folk. I really wish this place existed near my hometown because I'd be back every weekend. Next time I'm in Arlington, this will be my first stop. The pizza is so incredibly thin but so incredibly tasty. It's like one of those where you could eat an entire large to yourself and still have room for seconds. Let's be real, we've all done that regardless but this one won't leave you sick. It was upstairs a couple months ago. He was great! I came a bit late the second time so didn't interact with that server as much but he was good as well! I appreciate the consistency in good service so far. The design of the restaurant is a bit odd but comfortable. The food & beer is amazing! These pictures don't do it justice. Some of the items are odd but they are GOOOD! Everyone loved everything so much they were passing around their plates because they didn't want people to miss giving it a try. Highly recommend trying Bankhead!

Then as things were nearing completion, I remember seeing a couple of employees somewhere and asking about it, and they said that it would be in "phase two". Then sometime later, I remember a construction guy telling me, "there ain't no phase two, what you see with Texas Live is what you got, there isn't going to be any expansion". I could never find anything out. Then about six months or so, someone who works there told me it was being built in the corner, and would be open soon. I figured I'd believe it when I saw it, and now it's here. It's a nice space, with a separate entrance. Really went upscale more than you would see in most taprooms. I think only the Choctaw Lounge is nicer, and you can't hardly get into that place. The bar top is almost as long as the room, lots of stools. A good amount of pub type tables, and a larger community table, along with some low height chairs and tables. All pretty nice furniture. Couple of roll up doors open into the patio during nicer weather. My couple visits, I've seen several beers that I've never seen on tap anywhere else. Revolver is supposed to be doing several beers for this location only. Lot's of different beers, and this is probably the only place you'll see with this many of their beers on tap at any given time. I've done the brewery events in Granbury and they usually have maybe 6-8 beers on tap. I'm seeing 10-15 different beers on tap here. You can also get food in here, most of it items from Lockhart BBQ. But there are a couple things unique to the taproom, including the chili. The chili is pretty good, but the jalapeno cornbread is fantastic. Anyway, really nice, great place to hang out. Plenty of TV's and usually some decent music in the background. Prices are higher, which is expected because of the location, but I've paid about $7-$10 for different beers. Looking forward to more special beers. Too bad all the beer snobs hate Revolver, some good new stuff in here.

It was supposed to be a hot honey pepperoni. The description said mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni and hot honey. The pizza had no ricotta and if it did have hot honey, I didn't taste it. Service was ok. The staff seemed very overwhelmed for the amount of people. They had maybe 5 occupied tables. One of my pet peeves of dining out is everyone getting their food at the same time. If you run a business that has personal pizzas as the majority item on the menu, you should be able to time them to all be finished at the same time so everyone eats together. Our pizzas were all brought out more than five minutes apart. The inside is nice and they have an arcade upstairs. I will say the crust on the edges was crispy and has seasoning which was good, but the dough was thicker and chewier than I expected. This being said, I will say that if I lived in the area I would absolutely come back to catch a good game, decent pizza, and maybe try some of their many unique craft beers.
