Absolutely delicious pizza ! And not heavy on the tummy. These are woodfire pizzas , they are a brewery and pizza joint! Best of both worlds! They have several beers on tap, and lots of pizza creations. I made my own , I love pepperoni and jalapeno plus burrata cheese .. sooooo good! I am enticed to try the savory sister pizza , when I come back , I'm gonna try it! The also had soups and salads , and garlic bread. The service was fantastic, my family and I enjoyed this place. They are freshly made to order so be patient and enjoy the beer and vibes! read more

So far, every time I've eaten here, I've had a good experience. The food is yummy. There's always something new to try. The staff has been great. Most recently I got to try their taco pizza. It's available on Tuesdays BUT it really needs to be permanently added to the menu. It's delicious. Hopefully they consider. read more

Twisted Sisters Tap House - Taco Pizza for taco Tuesday - Beer Bar Near Me - Midlothian, Texas

This is easily the best pizza I have had in Midlothian! I really enjoy Neapolitan style pizza, and this place hits the spot! I also appreciate all the beers they have on tap. They have a rotating selection. One night I came in and got a growler of my favorite beer. Unfortunately it isn't available all the time. Street parking is readily available. We had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday night, but that isn't bad! The waitstaff was also patient with our two year old daughter dancing in the aisle while we quickly tried to enjoy our dinner. read more

No place is, but fun cheeky feel and fresh ingredients makes for the biggest difference. Many choices of beer on tap as Beer and wine are the upfront draw and oven fire pizza and appetizers. Love that is has choices from all around, local and many from my home area in CO. Great food, great pizza and salad. Excellent beer choices and I don't drink much beer. Prefer Bourbon, but found one that is out in Bourbon Barrels so it was a good compromise. My only constructive criticism is they have a bunch of youngsters delivering the food, the hot pizza or appetizers come out and they sit in a area in the open for a couple minutes before it's taken to the table. Just could use some tweaking of that processes with a heat lamp with a separate staging area. But love the food and could taste the freshness read more

Awesome vibe of the place, great pizza. Would love to see them open a patio section some day

Great pizza, great beer, service can be a little inconsistent depending on who is waiting on us but this wont keep us away when we are in the mood for some great pizza and craft beer. read more

This is probably the best pizza in Midlothian. I'm don't think you can find wood fire pizza anywhere else (sure, there's Mod, but that has a very distinct taste). That said, it is a bit pricey for the size. My only complaint would be that the pepperoni could have had more pepperoni, but the flavor was great on all three pizzas. We took this pizza to go and it was wonderful. I bet it's even better fresh out of the oven. There was plenty seating inside, so I think we will try done in the next time we get pizza. read more

I love this place. The food is delicious and affordable and the place is really nice. High ceiling to give you more open space so you don't feel stuffy and it's not hot even though the pizza oven is in the dining area. There was one server running the show, but she was attentive to all parties dining at the time I was there for lunch. I liked the pizza lunch special - (Tue-Fri 11AM-2PM): 8" Pizza (includes two toppings) served with a cup of soup or side salad. read more

Great food!!! Really good service, very friendly and inviting. Love the atmosphere. Great lunch and dinner spot!!

Dallas prices without actually being in Dallas. Pizza was ok but there was way too much crust. If the crust was smaller the amount of toppings would make sense. The hostesses were nice and accommodating. Well decorated inside. read more

I like the atmosphere, it's like sports bar meets wine bar vibes. The food here was great, even the specialty drink was so good that I had two. The bruchetta was very target good, next time I'll have to order more. The service was quick and very friendly. I'll have to come back here whenever I'm in town! read more

Stopped in for an appetizer. Garlic butter cheese balls are incredible! Just a few burnt edges, but the gooey, buttery, garlicky flavor more than compensated. Place is still very clean, great ambience, and great service from Katie C. FWIW, I'm a tea drinker, and the tea was spot on. Not over steeped, which is sadly uncommon. All in all, this place is a gem of the Midlo dining scene. read more

We have frequented the Midlothian location on multiple occasions. The food and service are outstanding!

I placed an order for 1 large pizza and a spinach salad which cost me 50. The pizza came but not the salad. I called the restaurant immediately to inform them and they said they would refund my 15.00 for the salad. It's now Friday and no refund. I called Ernesto twice on Wednesday asking him why are they avoiding paying my refund. Still no refund and it's Friday. read more

The pizza was fabulous! Service was very good. Great atmosphere. The only thing I would say is don't forget the auto tip with parties over 8. I tipped 40% because the auto tip. read more

What a great concept! Love the pictures on the wall and the food is great too. Good beer selection as well.

We are new to the area and were craving pizza. After checking the reviews on Yelp, we decided on Twisted Sisters and we are glad we did! The pizza is so good! The crust is perfect and you can choose from one of their specialty pizzas or build your own. The Italian salad had lots of yummy things in it and the Italian dead good. Also, the lasagna soup was delicious! Lots of other good things to choose from and they have a great selection of beer on tap and you can take a growler home with you. The Poppy's brown ale hit the spot. A good beer. We are looking forward to our next visit! read more

I'll start by saying that the pizza I got tasted amazing!! So far so good! However only half of the pizza had toppings on it!! One bite per slice and it's done. I looked at pics online of the pizza before visiting and they all looked great. I honestly feel like I didn't get my moneys worth. Consistency left the building. Imagine putting a twin sized mattress on a kings size bed, you can do it but it just doesn't make since!! read more

If you're looking for a pizza joint that's part local favorite, part art gallery, and part family feud arena, Twisted Sisters Pizza in Midlothian, TX, is your spot. First, let's talk about the decor--it's a vibe. The art on the walls? Twisted Sister-themed, with quirky, slightly creepy-but-hilarious female portraits. Definitely twisted, definitely unforgettable. And the exposed brick? Pure historic charm. It feels like you're eating pizza in a place that's been loved for decades (and haunted by some of the Sisters on the wall, probably). Now, about the food. I'll admit, I'm not usually a pizza person, but Twisted Sisters changed me. The Savage Sister (chicken, BBQ sauce, smoked Gouda) was life-changing. I nearly inhaled the whole thing but decided to show some self-control and save a slice or two--because who doesn't need a late-night pizza pick-me-up? Then came the stuffed cheese balls. Pro tip: order one for EVERY person at the table. There are only two per dish, and trust me, you do NOT want to see what happens when a family of seven fights over melted cheese. Let's just say it's not pretty, but it's passionate. Service was solid, the atmosphere was fantastic, and this is one of the most family-friendly spots we've been to in a while. Twisted Sisters isn't just pizza--it's an experience, a memory, and maybe even the cause of a minor sibling rivalry. We'll be back (with a better cheese ball strategy next time). read more

This restaurant is amazing! Once you taste the pizza there's no going back to traditional Pizza. The Spinach Salad is to die for. The family order will feed Four but it was so good my husband and I killed it... ambiance includes a tap bar but still an awesome vibe for kids, so feel free to bring the entire family!! The prices are reasonable, service was awesome!! read more

Beer didn't seem to be a priority in this Tap House. The glass was old and not clear, not frosted...warm, and it looks like. 12 ounce glass. Not positive but I was charged for a pint, when the glasses didn't look like they could hold a pint. I could be mistaken. The Lasagna Soup was old and tasted like dish water. YUCK! The Margherita Pizza didn't have fresh tomato on it or fresh basil or fresh mozzarella. It was old store bought stuff. Honestly, frozen pizza is just as good. Anyway. Worth a try, but I am disappointed. The ambience is not good. Brick glued on the wall with no grout looks like a construction zone. Not for me... read more

We found our favorites and always get the same thing! Love the bruschetta, we think it's the best we've had!

Wow is all I can say. Found this place while we were searching for an Italian place and the pizza and garlic cheese bread did not disappoint! Tons of delish sounding artisan offers but we opted to build our own. Will absolutely be back here. Good for all ages. Great staff. Easy parking. And now days later I'm dreaming about going back! read more

I really enjoyed this hidden gym of a restaurant. Went on a Friday night and even though it was busy was seated promptly because we had reservations through yelp. The restaurant itself is a nice size but what draws you in are the big pictures on the wall of the two sisters that own the place. Each picture has the two of them but not your average pics. I can't explain it but cool pics. Our waiter was really nice and helped us with a high chair for my baby. They had a nice wine selection to go along with the pizzas which were delicious. I can't wait for my son to get older so I can take him back to make his own pizza. They have a kids menu where they bring out all the ingredients to make it and once your done they bake it for you. I plan on going back might have found my new spot. read more

I'm so thrilled that I've found a place that's close-ish to me that serves Neapolitan style pizza! I sat at the bar and Austin was amazing! He was very helpful in selecting the perfect wine with my pizza of choice. It was obvious that he was knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and had great recommendations. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the bar was elegant and had the most comfiest bar chairs I've ever sat on. The pizza was amazing and I truly can't wait to be back! read more

For midlothian, this is a great place. You come here out of convenience and not because you want the best beer and pizza in DFW. I had that Deviant Sister 12 inch pizza. Although grease was pooling on the top, it was not bad. Plenty of savory flavors, but most of the other flavors like the honey didn't stand out as much as I would have hoped. The crust was decent in its soft yet fairly sturdy texture. The house salad was a lot better than I was expecting. It had more fixings than I was expecting. It was above average for a house salad. The beer selection is decent, although half the menu is stuff you can find anywhere these days in DFW. The bartenders share an enthusiasm and palate for the beers that's appreciated to a degree. There was a moment where the hospitality was layed on thick. Perhaps its necessary for a smaller city like midlothian. read more

Cute restaurant, amazing food and wonderful staff. Have been back twice in last week.

Ordered two pizzas to go from here with some friends and was very impressed. The pizzas were delicious, as you can see from the pic i took i almost forgot to take it. They do a brick oven style pizza and offer many different types to choose from. The restaurant itself is very nice also and they have a lot of craft beers you can take home with you in one of their growlers. First purchase is $30 then after that $6 to refill the growler with any beer of your choice. It wasn't very loud inside and the wait staff was very quick with bringing out food and drinks. They also recognized my buddy who hadn't gone there in over 3 weeks, which caught us both by surprise. Definitely recommend giving this place a try read more

If you are looking for amazing pizza, this is the spot! It's a cute restaurant right in downtown Midlothian. Pictures of the "Twisted Sisters" adorn the walls of the restaurant and make you chuckle. My husband likes the selection of beer, there's a LOT to choose from. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer and it was great. I ordered the Brazen pizza which was delicious!!! Alfredo sauce with mushrooms, spinach and bacon My husband ordered the specialty pizza of the month, Sweet Pea pizza. It had peas, onions and bacon. I know what you're thinking, "Peas on Pizza, Ewk!" Yall!! It was a really good pizza. Remember the name, Twisted Sister. They are different. This is No Papa John's or Dominos Pizza. We've been here 3 times and each time the pizzas are always On Point!! The service was fast and friendly. Payton kept up with our drinks and checked in on us regularly. Try it tonight, you won't be disappointed. read more
