Absolutly love this place! Literally the only people I let work on my truck (yes my truck is my…read morebaby!). I am so grateful for everyone there, especially Nick! He always treats my "baby" like the princess she is and keeps me fully informed on all services as well as what maintenance and or repairs need to be done and when. Highly recommend Christian Brothers in general but THIS store especially!!!

Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me. I'm shopping for one. **I tried to scan & copy the actual Invoice from this incident, but for some technological mystery beyond me - I couldn't get this file search in Yelp to access where I am sure I put the two files.**

Well, I was right in the middle of a job needing it for a long haul when it began acting up really bad. It would chug at stop lights and it was behaving like it wasn't getting fuel... and it finally even died on me. Well, thank god I was able to get it to a local mechanic and when calling all my friends on who they would use, many of them cited the same place and it was Scott Repmans off Bell. Especially because I've got a diesel and I know they require a special touch. Well, not only was I expecting the bill to be much higher but I honestly wasn't expecting to get it back until Thursday or even Friday. Turns out it was a sensor for the accelerator and they had it ready for pickup on Monday by 3pm! It drives BETTER than even before the problems began and I now know where to take it for my tune-up and maintenance like oil changes. Super thrilled with this place and will recommend them along with my buddies now.

The parking lot was full and my passenger was happy with their service. I needed to replace my Wife's car AC cabin fan and radiator fan. I bought the parts at the dealer expecting to do the repair myself. After watching YouTube videos I decided someone with actual skill and experience needed to do the job. I made an appointment through Yelp. The repair took about three hours. I was happy when they called with the request to proceed after testing that they did not try to up sell me on other repairs, just I was right that the fan motors were bad. When I picked up the repaired car, they did have a list of issues and discussed the importance of repairing each. Most were just fine right now but watch for issues in the future. They did say there was a split hose from the engine air filter to the engine which needed replacing sooner than later. Since I do the routine maintenance on my cars at home they suggested buying a new hose and installing it myself. They were happy to do it but said that part was easy to replace. I also appreciate they returned the replaced parts without me asking. First repair and I'm impressed. I posted on an Uber driver facebook group about the company. One driver replied they don't go Cha-Ching when a female walks in. Everything about my first repair was transparent and fully discussed before the repair and when I picked up.

This isn't the closest mechanic to my house. Hell this isn't even the closest Aamco to my house…read more But this is the Aamco that will be getting my business from now on. My oldest daughter was about to take her road test. A/C in her car went out. I'd heard that Aamco did free A/C diagnostics, and we were close to this one, so we stopped by. I expected a long wait, or to have to make an appointment and come back. They looked at it right away. They showed me where they saw the issue. Told me they needed to get parts, and they'd call me with a quote. Got the call, dropped the car off the next afternoon. Picked it up early the following morning, with ice cold A/C blowing. But that's not even the best part (BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!). Today was my daughter's road test. And her driver's side window wouldn't roll down. That had never happened before. They told her she couldn't take the test if the window didn't roll down. I tried do do what I could (which wasn't much). We happened to be pretty close to the Aamco, so I figured what the heck... drove over real quick. Asked if they might be able to do me a favor and look at it. Popped the door panel off, bypassed the switch, and got the window rolled down. No charge. Told us to come back after the road test and he'd get it back up. I told him that wasn't necessary, but he insisted... especially because the forecast calls for some rain over the next day or two. So she did the test (and passed!), and we headed back. Once again, popped the door panel off, bypassed the switch, and rolled the window up. Once again, no charge. Said he was happy to help, and congratulated my daughter on passing the test. Who even does that anymore? Who gives away services for free just to be nice? Not nearly enough people/businesses do. It wasn't even the fact that they didn't charge us. It was them understanding that we were in a bind (road tests are by appointment), and making the effort to help out. There were other cars up on the lifts. They had other things to do. But they understood that we needed some help, and time was a factor. I can't express my gratitude enough. Today was a big day for my daughter. And it ended well. But it could have ended very differently than it did. The biggest reason that it did not go badly? The folks at this Aamco. Thanks again. See you soon.

This vehicle has a dual clutch 7 speed transmission. Has 2 actuators that assist with the shifting. 1,3,5,7,and 2,4,6,and reverse. The reverse actuator went bad. I drove my Tucson to 2 transmission shops. Each told me basically the same, but with different price points. I went with Pro Tech, with a price quote on the back of Ray's business card of $1495. Parts, labor, reprogramming the transmission, and tax. This type of transmission is electric so whenever anyone type of work being preformed on the transmission afterwards it has to be reprogramed. After explaining to Ray that was a little pricey. He informs me that he is unable to do so,but that I should go online ,and order the actuator from Ebay. Upon his recommendation I did just that. I sat down in their lobby, got on Ebay. Found the actuator showed it to Ray,whom in turn told me that was it. So I ordered the actuator. A week later it arrives, and I made an appointment with Pro Tech transmissions. That was on a Friday. Drove my Tucson to their Bell rd location. Saturday I get the call from Ray telling me it will cost $1045,and that they had to use another tech to program the transmission. That should of been red flag #1 but I was a trusting fool! I go to Pro Tech, expecting everything would be fixed. I get in and it wouldn't go into reverse, but the check engine light isn't on so that is some sort of progress right? Ray gets in hooks up a code reader tells me it seems fine. Then Ray tells me to drive to the Pro Tech location at 54th ave and Camelback. I'm thinking kool finally getting it fixed! How wrong I was. After about an hour waiting in their lobby, and guy named Mike shows up,starts telling me that they broke what's called a speed sensor. They are going to fix it,and paid for an Uber ride home. 2 days later Mike calls me up,and tells me that they fixed the speed sensor, but they need to install another actuator, and the clutch pack is bad! They want $5,000 to repair it! Huh? I called a tow,and had the Tucson delivered home. The tow driver has to jump start the battery to get it off the flat bed,and again for me to drive it but barely up the driveway. WTF? I drove the Tucson 10 days before to 2 different transmission shops to obtain price quotes for any repairs. And my Tucson not only did not get the proper repairs that I paid for. But it was delivered back to me with a completely dead battery, covered in soot and I am un able to drive it! So again I say here DO NOT GO TO any Pro Tech transmissions locations.
