I have to be honest I had very negative experiences with the Firestone tires in California. But The team at this store is very professional and courteous. We had some issues with the two front tires purchased here a month ago and they performed extensive check up and finally decided to offer warranty replacement on them. Over priced and will do whatever it takes to empty out your bank account. A missing 10amp fuse lead to almost 300 dollars and took them two days to figure it out. They will say "we will not charge you the part" to feel better but still over priced. You lost an appointment today because the person answering your phone doesn't know how to speak to customers. I called and asked a few questions about getting my air-conditioning recharged and I felt like this guy was either high or drunk or or didn't know how to do his job. Zero customer service zero professionalism the only reason why I'm giving you two stars instead of one is because I didn't actually get service done there so I don't want to completely judge you off of that, but based off of how your people speak on the phone, training is needed ASAP I literally live two blocks away but I'm taking my business to Break Masters in anthem. We had a 12 pm appointment for an oil change, alignment check, and an inspection. I was told my car would be ready by 2 pm. I called to check for status at 2. The person who answered the phone informed me they had not touched my vehicle yet and I could expect it to be done by 5. I admit, this was annoying and my tone became less than composed. When I asked why it would take so long and what was the point of the appointment, the person I was speaking to hung up on me. Upon picking up my car later, I encountered an extremely hostile atmosphere. When I inquired about the incident on the phone, one of the service technicians behind the counter responded with hostility, resorting to insults, gestures, and threats. The manager, who was present at the time, requested that I wait outside, subsequently returning with my key and informing me that I was being trespassed from the property. As though I caused the problem or misbehaved. When I asked why I was being kicked out, the aforementioned technician, accompanied by another individual, confronted me with further threats, explicitly expressing an intention to engage in physical harm unless I left immediately. The three of them followed me to my car continuing the threats and insults. I spoke to the police and someone at the Firestone corporate office. No resolution yet. read more

Do not go to this Firestone ! Terrible customer service and won't honor their warranty. Had a belt replaced and it was under warranty - 6 weeks later screeching noise again when starting vehicle. same belt is faulty - however , Firestone now states it's the pulley system that is wearing the belt down and they cannnot honor the warranty unless I spend $550 to replace pulley?? They told me on the phone when car was there that it was under warranty and would be replaced - however they changed their minds so they could get me to spend another $550! They don't honor their word or their warranty and in addition they lost my donut with a new tire during the same visit. Be warned and stay away - just trying to get more money out of folks and not honor their warranty or their service ! Find another place this one is not it ! read more

The worst Firestone I've ever been too. I had an appointment at 5 on Wednesday they changed it to Friday. They said I needed an oil filter. So they said they can't order it til today which is Saturday. Appointment was at 12 today and still waiting For my car to be done! This is ridiculous! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! I was driving to cave creek and my truck started to stumble, luckily I pulled into the Firestone parking lot so I didn't have to call a tow truck. So I decided to leave it with them and see if they could look at it in the morning. Three days later they replaced all 6 spark plugs and wires costing me roughly 800 dollars, 40 dollars a spark plug, (since then I've spoke to multiple other mechanics and they said for that much it should be the best darn spark plug ever because most (if not all) are significantly less money.) They should not cost that much ever. After I picked up my truck I started driving it home and the problem continued and I broke down again, on the drive HOME FROM GETTING IT FIXED. They didn't solve the problem and threw my money at it to try to fix a problem that was nonexistent. (The spark plugs had been replaced less than a year before). I came here to replace a battery for my parents car. Technically I do and I don't have triple A. I have only a limited amount so when I use all the amount, I no longer have triple A. Called Triple A for this battery issue where the battery experts told me the diagnosis is the need to replace the battery and very obviously the terminal which any mechanic can see is corroded. I took the car to this Firestone and they replaced the battery and corrosion package. The next day the car again didn't start. I called triple A the battery expert and he came down again and said this stupid mechanic place didn't replace the terminal which was a very obvious thing and because of their negligence they caused the battery to die. They also didn't properly install one of the sides and showed me the difference between the positive and negative side. I watched him hook it up properly. Lastly, I told him I paid for corrosion package and showed him my receipt and he replied I'm sorry to tell you sir but they scammed you. He took the time to show me that there should be a red spray type of paint which was not there. I took the car to another firestone where they confirmed these things and confirmed the corrosion package that I paid for was indeed never done. The master tech also confirmed that indeed the terminal was obviously needing replacement and no mechanic should have installed the battery on a corroded terminal, just an obvious thing. They also apologized that the battery was never installed properly. They fixed all these things in no time and then added the red spray corrosion package. The thing that I really can't stand about this place is even with an abundance amount of evidence, this place has never put their hands up and take the onus for anything. They always try to blame it on something else and they always seem to find a scape goat. The fact is they were caught with dishonest and unethical actions. Charging me for something they never did! On top of the fact the services they did actually do was incorrectly done. Hope this can be a warning for all. And don't bother going to Maaco customer service as they seem to find a way to get away with things like this. This isn't the first time as this similar situation happened to my car but it is so difficult to prove. The Cadillac dealership told me the place I had taken my car had done some bad things. Well now it happened to my parents car and finally was able to prove it both from Triple A and their own Firestone down the street. I paid full pop for a wheel alignment and it just didn't feel right. brought it to Firestone in scottsdale and they revealed that only the front tires were aligned. Cave Creek Firestone didn't bother to do the rear tires. Scottsdale set it right without charging me extra. read more

I never leave a review. Like ever. I enjoy reading more than giving. But, this Firestone SUCKS. Idk what they're doing to have a 3 HOUR WAIT FOR AN OIL CHANGE, but, it's ridiculous and irritating at this point. I could look it up on YouTube and do it myself in the 3.5 hours they take. Don't take your car in on days where you have plans because those plans won't happen. Either learn how to service a car in efficient time or go to another career. The Firestone on Carefree and Cave Creek is much more efficient and faster. read more

Poor service and empty promises. On Tuesday my check engine light came on in my work truck and the engine started running rough with loss of power. I called Firestone and asked for their availability. They said they could get me in on Wednesday around 12-1pm. On the following day I dropped off the truck in the morning. After work I called because I never received an update and found out that nobody had evaluated the vehicle because they lost the charging cord for the diagnostics equipment. I was reassured that they would get to my vehicle the next day. At around 2pm on Thursday I called for an update only to find out that they still haven't looked at my truck. Now I'm getting really frustrated because the truck is an enterprise fleet management vehicle which means it takes hours for approval which means there is a good chance I'd have to wait a third day to get my truck back. The staff reassures me that the truck is next in line. Hours go by and I hear nothing. Eventually I call around 5pm and I am told that they finished evaluating the truck and could find nothing wrong with it. Despite the check engine light coming on multiple times while I drove it, they claim they could find no codes. I return that evening and pickup the truck. The next day on Friday on my way to work the check engine light comes back on and the engine starts running poorly. It's obvious that they either didn't look at the vehicle and lied or halfassed their evaluation. I ended up taking the truck to a different mechanic who will actually resolve the problem. I'm very annoyed that Firestone basically wasted three days. Without my work truck, it severely complicates my jobs during the day. I am an electrician who depends on my work truck 5 days a week. It is my livelihood, my office, and most important tool and they didn't seem to care. If the staff were that busy they should have turned me away. It would have saved me a lot of headache. Don't go to Firestone if you care about good service because you won't find it here. read more

Then, the guy says it was scheduled for 10am because the "scheduling department doesnt know our schedule" ??? Red flag. The guy couldnt give me a time on when the car would be finished. This place used to be Fletchers Auto. Now Firestone. Made an appointment for 9AM for a slow leak in a rear tire. I was suspicious because they asked if I could leave the car overnight - huh? For a tire repair? I said no and they countered with it could be ready by "early afternoon". The tires had 60k on them so was not surprised when they called at noon to tell me they couldn't fix it - too thin a tread, hole was too close to the sidewall, Yada Yada Yada. Can't buy just one tire. Had to get two but recommended getting four. Could be done in 1-1 1/2 hours. I went for it. Bottom line - after repeated calls, being told my car was on the rack now, and actually going to the place and seeing my car still in the lot was told that they only had one service tech (they have at least six bays) I complained. The rep told me that responding to my complaint was above his pay grade! I got my car back at 6PM. When I paid, the guy in front of me was buying a single tire which they said they couldn't mount until Saturday - this was Monday. Just a heads up. Firestone got in trouble years ago for deceptive and dishonest business practices and they tried to clean up their act. Maybe didn't work. There are other car service businesses in the area. Been disappointed 3 times, but it will be the last. Replaced master cylinder to ant lock brakes and did not remedy the situation. They then told me it was the ABS pump that was going to be an additional 1,000 dollars. Spoke to the manager 2 times and he could not have been any ruder with a horrible attitude. Brought my Subaru in for oil change, tire rotation and cabin filter. I've been here before with no issues. However this was a different story. I left the car in.the AM and picked it up at 3:00PM. When I returned my car key was in a different Subaru's work order packet, odd ,especially since no other Subarus were being serviced, i went to get in the car which was in the same spot I left it in at dropoff. I had a gut feeling that maybe my car hadn't been serviced, so I went back to the service counter and asked the manager on duty to pull my work order oddly it showed check-in and out at the same time. I asked if he was sure it was serviced and he said he had no idea!! As he fumbled around trying to come up with to deal with this We agreed that I would bring the back in the AM so the day manager could help. I did so and the temporary day manager pulled the filter and it was obvious not new and none of the work hadn't been done that I paid for . OK, things happen right? So we agreed I would leave and bring the car back in a few hours after the new filter was delivered as none were in stock and hopefully get the work done that again, I already paid for.. As of Now I've been sitting here for 2 hours because they forgot to order the correct filter! I'm not a happy customer! read more

Unethical, Greedy and Confrontational- I hired them for a simple check engine light on (knock sensor #2 code) job. I just had ordered the OEM sensors kit from the GM dealer and ran out of time to install myself. I asked if since I had the brand new dealer warranted part on hand already if they can do the install job. I was told its against their policy to use any parts other then what they resell but since it was directly from the dealer (AC Delco sensor kit) that they can do it for $347.00. The labor book calls for 2.5 hours labor. I was charged roughly $170.00 a hour. I dropped off my truck they installed the sensors, I paid them. The next morning my check engine light came back on this time reading (knock sensor #1) this is now the other one of two that they installed. I took it back to Firestone. Oscar at the counter said they will do a quality check on the install and I left it with them 8 hours. When I came to pick up my truck service manager Christopher Miller said that the knock sensor light was still on but that it wasn't because of their install but to hook it up to their computer to diagnose the sensor code or clear it would cost me another $85.00. When I asked how they knew it was not due to their install he said he was not sure since they did not run a diagnostic but that he didn't even need to work on my truck because I brought them the dealer part. I asked that since I already paid for the work and its was a dealer part that they at least run a code diagnostic and clear the check engine light on the sensor code. He refused to help me without paying them another $85 to look at what the sensor code meant on his computer. This is unacceptable. This is was dealer part serviced by Firestone. This is bad service that will leave you with a incomplete job and no explanation. I'm now into this knock sensor job $700. $350 to Firestone with the same check engine knock sensor light problem I came in with with no help from Firestone. Another $100 to check their own work? Blew a tire on my horse trailer on the way down the mountain heading back home to Queen Creek,Az, It's on a Saturday at 2:30 in the afternoon during a excessive heat warning it's 111°F out. This is the closest tire shop to stop at I go in and ask if the can change the tire for me and put the spare on to get home. They said no our policy doesn't allow us to do that on trailers. But their policy allows 4 gown men sit and watch a women and 14year old (with horses on the trailer) use their Jack and impact gun which I'm sure isn't in their policy and change it ourselves while they all watched in 111°F weather...
