Horrible place to purchase a car. Cesar is a mechanic don't know why he was texting me as a salesman know your role and do your role. What are you even doing making me drive 10 hours to see the car. At the end you didn't help me another guy/salesman did who showed me the car and let me test drive it and after taking 2 hours of back and forth negotiation about the extras in the car since I didn't need them and it was 5k. We settled on 3k of extras and he made sure to me that I got the car we went though the down payment and the monthly payment. Now all of a sudden I get news that the car has been recently sold how is that possible when I just test drove it and was in serious talks about buying the car. Now he wants me to buy a car that's 7k expensive than the one I wanted. I said no since I didn't want that car and I am aware of all the dealership tactics although I am young I have masters I am not stupid or can be forced buy some scumbags to buy a car. Now the salesman gets the closing manager/daddy I suppose who just looks and sounds like a scumbag and he talks to me how it's almost the same price and talking about Burger King and one cheap and one expesinve burger just bullshit coming out of his mouth. It felt like I was listening to a crackhead speak to me. I said no since I just didn't want the car and since I was young he used every tactic in the book to convince to buy me that car. I walked away still. This place is horrible please don't buy, you don't know who is texting/calling you, car you just test drove can be sold, I have been talking about 2 weeks with Ceaser drove 10 hours for nothing, all the salespeople are just scumbags and try to get you to buy a more expensive car. Overall horrible place don't get forced but these scumbags into buying a car that's a bad deal it's just a bait and switch to at least get you in the door even though they might not have the car even though they did in my situation I test drove it. Worst Service Ever. Made an appointment to look at an Electric car. I arrive as the dealership. Left Sitting in Sales person office for 20+ minutes with no idea what was happening. Let me start off by saying the sales man who sold me this car was the only genuine person at this dealership , the employee who brought me on the test drive had horrible directional awareness and got me pulled over and given a ticket from CHP ($700 Ticket) . If you love your SVT, stay away from BP Ford ! Replacing a master cylinder should be a simple operation. Right ? Wrong !!! I took my beautiful 2003 SVT Focus with 38,000 miles to BP Ford for this simple operation. I told the service rep this was not a standard Focus, (Cosworth engine, Getrag 6 speed etc.) and it should be serviced accordingly. He assured me that they worked on SVT's. When they returned the car to me, the steering wheel vibrated horribly. The whole car shook and when I drove off it pulled to the left drastically and sounded and drove like a truck !!! I called them immediately and set up an appointment the next day with the service manager. When I returned, the service manager would not meet with me (she was behind the wall and the rep said "she can hear us"). I explained the problem and let them have the car again (with a photo of the Cosworth engine.) When he returned the car to me, it stopped pulling to the left but both the vibration and sound were as bad as it was before. The Rep informed me I needed new motor mounts ($1500.00). I should add here, that when I originally brought the car in, it ran beautifully (thanks to Caruso Ford). Now I needed new motor mounts ??? At that point I took the car home and called the service manager. I told her, the car still was not right. She replied, "There's nothing wrong with the car", which was totally the opposite of what the rep said regarding the motor mounts , I replied, "B*****t) and she hung up. Not too long after that call I received a text asking how I enjoyed my experience at BP Ford Service Center. I stated all the above and also mentioned the car was being towed at that moment to a different service center out of fear that driving the car in it's condition could permanently damage it. Not long after that I received a text from BP Ford Service Manager. She stated I was no longer welcome at BP or Caruso Ford. (Like I would ever set foot at BP Ford again). I was welcome with open arms at Caruso and they began trying to determine what BP had done to my car. At this time, Caruso has the car running wonderfully again (thank you Caruso Ford), but the car still doesn't sound like it did before I brought it into BP and there is still a slight vibration in the steering wheel when idling. If you value your SVT, make the trip to Caruso and stay away from BP Ford. I can't prove if what BP did to my car, was intentional or just plain incompetence, but not once did they apologize or admit any wrong doing whatsoever. I would like to add, my wife contacted Ford Customer Service to complain about BP. Ford Customer Service responded that Ford Dealers are independent and Ford Corporate has no control over how they conduct themselves. Does Ford care that they do not have a good reputation regarding service in general ? Apparently they do not. read more

Went in today for "The Works" oil change deal. We've been to this dealership for a few recall items and other service. The 2 stars are not directed towards the employees, they're directed towards the policy makers running this place. I was informed only just before inserting my credit card that this business has jumped on the anti-merchant fee bandwagon and are now passing the buck right onto us, their customers, with an added 3% fee for using a credit card. Mom & pop restaurants have been pulling this shit for a couple of years now, and guess what? We no longer patronize those restaurants. Newsflash: A "merchant" fee is supposed to be paid by the merchant. Passing it onto the backs of your customers as a "Misc. fee" on the invoice is not only wrong, it's shady, cheap, and gives pause to us returning for service in the future. You already charge plenty and make a huge profit on your service by inflating the cost of labor and the parts. Don't stab us in the back by passing on a fee that the credit card company charges YOU for the privilege of excepting credit cards. On a similar note, this is the second time you've acted shady like this. Shortly after you took over this dealership from Worthington, I went into your service department to inquire about a coupon I had received in the mail that was still valid for another week and a half. It was regarding replacement windshield wipers. To purchase and install a pair. It was only $19.99. You refused to honor the coupon, even though it was still valid, and sent me over to your parts department to even see if you had them in stock. You only had one wiper in stock, and the only thing you were willing to do is give a 10% discount off of the wipers instead of honoring the coupon. The 10% was nowhere near the amount saved with the coupon. As a result, I went elsewhere for wipers. Note: Brianna, you spend a lot of time apologizing on here for the bad reviews.... How about management makes some changes around there and you won't have to? Start with dropping the 3% "Misc fee"you guys are charging customers who pay with credit cards to cover YOUR merchant fee. Shady shady extortion. I wasn't even informed about this until I was about to slide my card into the reader. Then.....gave a nice long talk with your service advisors. I honestly came to buy a vehicle at BP Ford because one of my family members works there but honestly it was the worst decision I ever made as far as buying a vehicle. I bought a used 2022 ford raptor with only 20k miles around October 11th 2024. I drove the truck home parked it and drove it three days later and it just turned off on me. I called the dealership and was told to bring it in and on the way there turned off on me on the fwy and I was able to pull to the shoulder with out getting hit because my steering wheel got lock in place. I got towed in and I was so disappointed that this had happened. When I got there I really quickly realized I was just another quick sale. My truck was returned to me and they couldn't find anything wrong. After another week of driving it, it happens again and this time I was able to record it not turning on. To make the story short I was helped by the gm and nothing got done I was helped by service and nothing got fix. My truck has turned off on me like 4-5 times and it's been in and out from the dealership since then. The truck is in there now and guess what my first payment came in and still no truck. Honestly I tried to keep my cool but after being ignored and no call backs no follow ups this is just so upsetting and unprofessional. If I don't call or ask what's going on then I don't know anything. I owed some money from my down payment and every-time I kept going in because truck was towed in they would ask me for the remaining of my down payment. At this point the business code and ethics at this place is garbage and worthless. As soon as I figure out what's going to happen with my truck or anything that has todo with this problem never again will I come back to this place. Getting a loaner doesn't fix anything because you are not driving the vehicle that you purchased. I was told on getting put on another truck but yet haven't seen it haven't driven it or anything. Who can make a purchase like that?. Truck came out too 118k imagine and not having it and having to make a payment on it or paying the remaining balance on down payment with out having the truck you wanted.
