    Many reviews here cite lack of transparency as a problem, and I can confirm that was aligned with my experience. I had requested to work with a woman salesperson and they initially told me that they did not employ any women salespeople (big yikes). Someone called me back and connected me with Onika, who was brought in from Chevvy to work with us. Onika was great, 5 stars. She was kind, informative, and really, she was the reason why we were open to negotiating. We test drove an Ioniq 5 and felt great negotiating with Onika. Despite asking to work with Onika, we were then presented with Brian who for some reason decided to insert himself into the sale, likely because Onika is from Chevvy. Brian had the audacity to laugh at me when I told him that I had an 830 credit score. He ran it, and it was higher than what I told him. When I addressed it, he said that he ~didn't think it could possibly be that high.~ I found his behavior both unfortunate and unsurprising. Of course the dealership that employs no women salespeople will laugh at at woman buyer who has nearly perfect credit, while at the same time, expecting our money. Of course. Brian also withheld that the lease was for 7,500 miles yearly, not the 10,000 that I was quoted in the deal I came in for. By the time I asked the question the deal had already been negotiated, they withheld that change from the original quote I was given from Harbor. I want to write this as a word of warning to those who are negotiating with this dealership: Be sure to push for the best deal possible, because not only will they withhold information from you, but they'll also demean you while doing it. I'm overall happy with the vehicle, but unhappy with their business practices. I encourage them to 1) increase transparency; 2) hire women salespeople so they can adequately sell to... 50% of the buying population.

    Brand new engine

    Brought in my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe for a diagnostics test as the engine light would go on and off, while also hear the engine making noises. I was welcomed by Jesus from the service department. I thought I was coming in for a simple check. Jesus came out and notified me I'd need a new engine in the car. Jesus assured me that from the problem the car was having that the warranty would cover the engine replacement. He ended up calling me and telling me the approval from Hyundai was good to replace the engine. The engine had 105k miles on it. Two weeks later I have my SUV back and with a brand new engine in it. The warranty covered everything. Jesus also provided a loaner car for my family. I can't tell you how much I and other families out there appreciate this kind of customer service. This is something that rarely exists anymore. I paid around 380 dollars for new hoses to be added with the new engine. It would've been detrimental to my family and I if I had to look at purchasing a new engine or looking for a new car. I had no bad experience here. And I can say Jesus is one of a kind when it comes to customer service. He looks out for the customer rather than trying to stick something to the customer. Just from this encounter, if I look at buying a vehicle again...I will come here first. Thanks again Harbor Hyundai, and thanks again Jesus.

    I had been here once before and had a great experience, so when my car's AT light went on…read moreunexpectedly one night I called them first thing the next morning to see if they could get it in. They said they could and gave me a timeline for working on the vehicle that matched my needs. While I appreciate them getting me in on short notice, they consistently over-promised and under-delivered on when they would be able to work on my vehicle. They were able to diagnose a couple of leaks that they thought were the problem and sent me photos to show me what they were looking at. In the past when I've left my car at this shop for work they sent over a detailed estimate before starting the work, but this time I only received the verbal estimate over the phone. I drive an old car, which isn't worth much, and I did let the person know that I wasn't interested in investing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth. As it was, the two leaks were just over $1K to fix, and I OK'd the work to begin. After fixing the first two leaks, they then came back and told me there was a third leak, which would require a more major repair to the transmission and they would have to have their transmission person (who wasn't there that weekend) send me an estimate the next day. While I understand that it's plausible that the third leak wasn't something they could have originally diagnosed, it felt a bit weird that the photo they used to show me the leak was one of the original photos they had sent before starting any work. If the leak was visible in that photo, I'm unclear why they couldn't have diagnosed it earlier. The added cost of this additional repair definitely tips the scales of worth-it/not-worth-it to repair vs replace this car, so I wish I had had all the information before deciding to make the initial repairs. Unfortunately, despite stabilizing the ATF level, fixing the leaks did not resolve the transmission issue. On a smaller scale, they didn't check or top up the tire pressure, which most mechanics I've gone to have done as a courtesy when working on my vehicle. The day after I picked up my car the tire pressure light went on, and when I checked my tires all four of them had low pressure. It's a small thing, but especially when dealing with expensive mechanical items like cars, the small things matter a lot in creating a sense of security and trust with your mechanic. They did mention that they were under new management since the last time I had been in, which may account for the different experiences.

From the moment I arrived, Louie, Jose, Pablo, Page, and Andy treated me with genuine care, urgency, and professionalism. They found a way to accommodate my situation quickly and safely, and I left feeling confident about continuing my trip. The shop itself is extremely well‑kept -- clean, organized, and clearly managed with pride. The environment feels welcoming, and the team works together seamlessly. Another bonus: if you drop off your car, there are shopping areas and food options nearby. You can easily walk, or take a quick Uber to grab a bite or browse stores while they work on your vehicle.     I originally took my Audi S3 to this shop during a really stressful moment because I needed the car…read morefixed fast for an urgent situation, and I trusted them to actually look into what was going on. Instead, they hit me with a huge bill and gave me the laziest "diagnosis" I've ever seen. They didn't check anything properly, didn't give me photos, didn't give me compression numbers, didn't do a real bore scope, nothing. They just jumped straight to "replace everything" like that was the only option instead of actually finding the root of the problem. I was even told I was missing a valve??? When I had it inspected by a much more capable shop, I clearly saw all my valves in my motor. They also wanted to replace both cams, yet when only ONE was replaced by their neighbor, my car runs perfectly fine. They really tried to upsell me into a full rebuild without proving anything was wrong. Then I took the same car to Euro Car Clinic, and the difference was insane. Euro Clinic actually tore the engine down, checked timing, checked compression, did a real bore scope, found the stretched chain, found the fuel pump leaking into the oil, replaced the right parts, and showed me every step with photos and updates. And the crazy part? I paid HALF of what this shop tried to charge me, and Euro Clinic actually fixed the car. Not to mention the difference in the invoices I'm honestly embarrassed to even show the comparison. This shop's invoice had zero photos, tons of misspelling, and looked completely unprofessional. Even when I called for weeks asking for photos, all I ever got was "oh it's on my phone, I'll send it right now," and I never received anything. This place wasted my time, my money, and my trust. After seeing what real professionalism looks like, I would never recommend them to anyone.
