We stopped in for lunch and had a delicious meal! Staff was friendly and attentive and I loved the variety of fresh food. I got the salmon bowl and it was quite delicious. I loved that it came with hummus and a salad so you felt like you were getting to try a little bit of everything. I also loved the interior decor and overall bright and airy vibe of the place. I would gladly dine here again!

Trying something completely new today and I went with the Lamb Gyro Wrap. It wasn't to bad but to be honest it wasn't all the great either. I think the intent was there but to me it seemed like a lot of blah flavors. The lamb was alright but the lettuce and filling were just ok. Now the side salad it came with was pretty good. Looks like coosecoose???? Pickled onions tomatoes and a vinegar let dressing. Just not for me that all.

Service was slow, food I thought was good and was thinking this might be worth a repeat. Than the bill comes. Just charge what you charge don't add a Stanley marketplace community fee and than an Operational surcharge. Bottom of receipt says " in order to help support the restaurant and team in ever changing market conditions, we have chosen to add a 3.5% market surcharge to all bills" due to the fact you add two different surcharges on my bill I choose to visit other businesses in your community

Very Americanized Shawarma - I'm not saying that's bad, I'm just saying that not my jam! The chicken shawarma lacked flavors and salt and the lamb shawarma was alright. I did enjoy the zaatar fries and the drinks out here. I got the No jito and my husband got the pomegranate spritz - both were good. Service was good and quick. Skip this place if you're looking for authentic shawarma flavors!

What a find! Boychik has an interesting name that didn't give me much of an indication what I'd be eating, but a friend who knows food picked it so I knew it would be good. First off, the restaurant space is beautiful, decorated in a classy elegant way. It is spacious and while it's a bit noisy, we had a nice corner of the restaurant where we could gather and hear each other better than probably sitting in the middle of the room. We started with the Tel Aviv Caesar salad which was so fresh with tangy parm, crispy crouton pita chunks, crunchy pistachios and a beautiful fried egg crowning the top. We gobbled that up. Next we shared the lamb shawarma bowl and it was fantastic. The hummus and fluffy pita filled me up and even though I shared this dish and the salad with a friend, we each had enough left to take home for a snack the next day. Small, but good wine list! Good service, nice ambiance. I will be back!

You can either sit down and enjoy the light airy restaurant or take it to go and sit in the Stanley main area. We did the later. Wow, Boychik was a refreshing change from the quick service food choices at most Denver food halls. The hummus was smooth, pita hot, and chicken shawarma had a bit of a kick but in a flavorful, I want more kind of way. The baba ganoush was good but nothing to write home about. I would love to try a few other dishes such as the falafels since the staff told us it is fried fresh when ordered.

I remembered sampling them at a Yelp event when they were getting ready to open up their Stanley Marketplace location. It was so memorable I decided to come back with friends when they officially opened. It's been a hot minute but this review is way overdue. Boychik has seriously THE BEST PITA in town, IMO. Their pita - fluffy, soft, chewy and warm.... The soft and chewy is what I'm addicted to. Such a different way to do pita when compared to any other Mediterranean style food. I always go for the chicken shawarma plate and their grilled potatoes - chef's kiss. Hummus is creamy and all the veggie dishes are so fresh and refreshing. Service has been consistently great and the dining room is always clean, nicely decorated and bright. Boychik has become the reason why I come to Stanley Marketplace. Get an extra pita if you're a bread lover, you will not regret it!

    Date night old fashioned

Stopped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon with the hubs and baby for a beverage and snack. It was quiet so we had no issue getting a table to accommodate our stroller. Waitstaff was friendly, though could have used more water refills than we'd gotten. I enjoyed the decor - clean and crisp and creative, but they did lose points for having some fake plants (in addition to real ones... why bother?). We both ordered the date night old fashioned which was quite pleasant - just a hint of a different kind of sweetness than you'd normally expect. I enjoyed it. For a snack, we went with the 3 for $25 dips and spreads - opting for the whipped feta, labneh, and golden beet toum. The toum was fantastic. Whipped feta wasn't very exciting and probably wouldn't get again. Labneh was tasty and different but definitely A+ for the Toum. I was very disappointed with how little veggies and pita we got compared to the ratio of dips and spreads. For that price it felt stingy and main reason why I couldn't give five stars. On the whole a nice way to spend the afternoon - would totally come back!

Really solid Mediterranean spot. The trio dip was probably my highlight. The whipped feta and golden beet toum were so so good. My husband got the gyro wrap and has been talking about it ever since. I got the gyro plate and it was solid but I felt it lacked a bitttt of flavor from the meat to the yogurt sauce and hummus. However I would still absolutely recommend this spot. There's a nice outdoor area and it's a cute spot.

Had a tremendous experience last night at Boychik in the Stanley Marketplace. First we got to eat with the chef and his wife and hear descriptions of the appetizers, sides and plates as they came to the table. We started with a variety of dips and pita and veggies. The carrot, yogurt dip and hummus were my favorites and bring out the flavor of all the other food. Roasted cauliflower and the Yukon gold potatoes were so good! The flavors and spices jump off veggies and paired with the sauces you have s slice of heaven. Our plates were chicken shawarma, falafel and lamb. The meats are tender, flavorful and presented with humus, sauces and garnish. Pair this with more Pita and i have a go to place next visit!

Hidden gem alert!! Don't skip on this fresh place! If you're in for a quick and clean lunch, this is a great spot! We were surprised it wasn't busier during the weekend lunch rush. Loved the big portions of veggies and hummus! I enjoyed the boychick sauce that had a little spicy kick to it. The falafels had a great crunch on the outside but they were too mushy for my preference. Seasoning was great. Vibes were immaculate and each staff member had a cute/funny saying on the back of their shirts. This spot is actually pretty "hidden". From the inside, it's down this back alley but you can also enter from the outside entrance by the frontside parking lot.

This was a great find as we strolled along Stanley Marketplace the other weekend. We were looking for a place for dinner and saw the raving reviews for this place. Place was packed but was immediately added to the Resy waitlist, got the table in less than 25 mins. Great staff and such warm service. Loved the food, pita bread was perfect with their hummus and the labneh, for entree, my chicken shawarma plate was delicious! We also went for mocktails and were refreshing. Wouldn't mind coming back again when in Denver next!

    Lamb gyro platter

Pretty lunch / dinner spot in the Stanley with indoor and patio dining. I ordered the lamb gyro platter. It was tasty but the meat is pretty skimpy for $22. It comes shaved on top of a mound of quinoa. I'd order this again for myself but it may not enough for a hungry person or if you are just looking for more protein.

Cons for this paragraph is the wait for the food is ridiculous. Why 45 min at least for any dishes. If you're ordering multiple. They're not coming out all at once. The appetizer orecchiette we got was tasty in regard to the texture. Nicely al dente. But it was extremely salted and extremely sour. Unsure of what flavor profile they want to have. Our server recommended the roasted chicken to be the most seasoned dish. I'm not sure whatever they marinated actually puncture the meat. It was cook well but virtually no flavor. Not any difference if you just boil chicken breast by itself. Everything was really pricey for no reason. Sure it was a good size? But if you compare it to restaurants located in downtown, a similar dish is at least 8-10$ cheaper. $14 for a basket of shoes string fries, $41 for roasted chicken and $43 for steak? On par with coors field at least. My assumption is that any new coming restaurants at the Stanley market is just a test run with a safety net to see if the restaurant actually performs well if it was a stand alone business.

Drinks came out pretty quickly. The elderflower prickly pear drink was stellar and pretty strong! I would definitely come back just for that drink! Food tasted great! Tacos were seasoned well. I do wish they had spicier salsa options but that's just my preference. I also think the tacos should be doubled up with tortillas because they started falling apart and made it difficult to eat. I ended up just eating the inside of the tacos and left the tortilla. Overall though, nothing bad that would deter me from visiting again. It was a good experience! I would definitely return.

Three of us had driven from significant distances. Two were late, due to crazy snow. Our friend had made reservations for the high-top table IN THE BAR AREA. Upon arrival, the hostess DID mention to our organizer that the table was ours until 6. That sounded odd, but certainly they wouldn't expect us to leave if we're still eating and drinking, right? We were having a great time, and being gracious despite a few issues, like my friend getting a strangely colored margarita that tasted bad -- unlike her first, or any of the others in the entire restaurant. She explained and asked for it to be remade. Another girl brings it back again, making her re-explain. She begrudgingly took it back and replaced it. At 5:40, as people started bugging out, our snow-delayed friend arrived and our waitress took her food order, along with another friend's order for a pitcher of beer. They arrived quickly. At 5:50, we got a visit from manager Alex, asking us to wrap things up and leave. We were confused, and asked why this was necessary, since we were in the BAR section, had just been served food and beer, and people were leaving. Alex was not amenable to applying practicality to the situation. My friend who'd just been served her pitcher of beer asked which option she was supposed to exercise...pay for and leave her full pitcher, or slam it and then drive home to Boulder. Alex didn't like that, and reluctantly offered to comp the quesadilla and beer -- like it was some grand gesture. As we gathered our things, more customers left, leaving four seats open around the actual bar. EUREKA! We didn't have to leave! My friend and I sat in two, and two others sat across from us. We knew we'd find one more, and we did. Cool, right? Nope. Alex confronts me and says, I noticed you guys moved to the bar. (I thought I was being punked.) So I reply, "Yes, is there a problem with us taking available seats after having to leave our table?" He says something about us being rude. To which I said, "I'm not being rude. If you're referring to us talking amongst each other about how this situation was handled, we have the right to speak." He then informed us he was cutting us off. I wasn't one of the ones comped, and we weren't drunk. He just didn't like that we pushed back. He left, and seconds later, the drink I'd ordered before this "chat" was placed in front of me. When Alex saw it, he pulled bartender Hunter aside and had words with him. Which made matters worse, because Hunter is so kind, and he knew we were cool. Anyway, I happily sipped my drink, and we started watching the Avs. We weren't obnoxious, but it was loud, and since we were seated across the bar from each other, we needed to shout a bit. Around this time, we noticed the table we'd been forced to vacate was STILL EMPTY -- 20 minutes after being booted from it. The table right next to it? Also empty. A few minutes later, we noticed he'd moved some girls who'd been at the bar since our arrival TO OUR TABLE. Obviously to make it look like the party that wanted it had shown up. So I took a pic of that with my phone. And a video of how many seats and tables were open. Nobody knew what I was doing, or cared, except Alex, who'd been spying on us. He comes back AGAIN, suddenly claiming our "BEHAVIOR" is a problem. Despite us trying to reason with him about what this experience was like for us as customers, he tells us to leave. I have been kicked out of two bars in my life. Once justifiably at age 22, and again on this day, age 60. All because of a manager on a power trip. We ended up going to Mezcal four miles away where the food and the service were exemplary, and we were welcomed! Lady Nomada? Lady, No-thank-you. You can't defend a policy like that, take a food and drink order right before the time limit, take our table and then harass us for not liking it. There are too many cantinas out there to treat people this way.
