The only nice thing - the shoes.

Just NO!!!!! We came to Brooklyn Bowl to celebrate a friend's birthday and unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing. The service was honestly some of the worst I've experienced. A few highlights from the evening: 1. The women's restroom was extremely dirty -- toilet paper and trash were all over the floor, which set a poor tone for the night. 2. Drinks took nearly two hours to arrive, despite multiple inquiries, and when they finally came they weren't even what we ordered. 3. Our server disappeared for over 90 minutes. There was no check-in, no explanation, and no handoff to another staff member. 4. The music didn't match the crowd or the atmosphere, which made the overall vibe feel off. 5. Staff and management seemed completely disengaged, as if they simply didn't care about the experience customers were having. 6. When I raised concerns, management refused to refund the $50+ we spent on two basic drinks that took hours to arrive. At the very end of the night they tried to "make up for it" by replacing our cold curly fries -- but the second order was just as underwhelming. 7. To make matters worst they cut our lane time. Overall, it was a really frustrating experience, especially for what was supposed to be a fun birthday celebration. I hope the management team takes feedback like this seriously and works on improving both service and cleanliness.

This place is great during the middle of the week. I went with friends on a Wednesday night and it was empty. The place was clean and service was done quickly. We had asked to use 2 bowling lanes (we were a group of 6 people and wanted to do 3-3) but they had placed us all on one lane and when we brought it up they said they could no longer do to labes as they had entered all the names already. Which was odd as we still have not started playing. We were able to play 3 games. The food staff was very nice. They came bu to see if we wanted to order anything, we didnt but they were friendly enough to let us know they were open.

I used to come here often in high school when Bowl 360 was Shell Lanes. It's gotten a bit of a face lift under new management, though much of the bones are still the same. It's still a low key neighborhood spot which I appreciate. Bowl 360 is a solid family friendly venue, though their menu is upgraded with more drinks and food for the 21+ crowd. Worth coming for a fun night out with friends or on a date. They have a $25 per person deal for two hours unlimited bowling that includes shoe rental on Sunday-Thursday 1pm until close. For a party of 4, you can play maybe three games before you run out of time to complete a fourth.

I've been to the Bowl 360 in Queens-- I was unaware that they had taken over the prior bowling alley (Shell Lanes). Upon arrival, I waited upstairs in the gaming area until the rest of my family arrived. I noticed a couple of the games weren't operable and that each game cost two bucks. While we waited, we ordered a bunch of food upstairs, where they have seating. One major difference here is, you have to pay for each item as you go, it's not the standard cumulative bill. This was a nuisance because it was over 20 of us, and three of us planned on splitting the bill because two others paid the bill for the shoes and bowling. So I'd say beware of that fact, if you do plan on splitting the bill here for food. The place got very crowded and the seating area isn't very large, but we didn't feel cramped with the folks next to us, on either side. The music was kid friendly and the environment wasn't bad. Our server was excellent, at some points, we thought she took awhile and we struggled to locate her; however, they appeared to have a lack of staff because she seemed to be the only one working on our side. I saw two people at the table for shoes, but toward the late afternoon/evening, the crowd picked up big time. I'd say be prepared to wait here a bit. Overall, this is a pretty decent bowling area and it's good to have a decent bowling, other than Melody Lanes, which is very close to me, but is a little run down and lacks many food options.

Dead roach on the floor disgusting.

0 stars terrible establishment no one knows what they are doing. They have a child working in the bar and just terrible staff all around managers and front desk are never to be found. Servers running in and out the place leaving food to get cold and drinks to become watered down. One server walking around with a black eye that just looks disgusting. The cook had no uniform, no hair net, no gloves and was picking up stuff with her bare hands she even picked a plate off the floor and put it back to be used just disgusting. Most of the workers don't know anything about hygiene and it's sad because there is mainly females on staff. When the staff are in the building they are touching on each other and touching food and drinks even more disgusting. A friend of mine was there the other day and was even threaten by a staff member who said they would shoot them. This is the type of staff this place has it is disgusting and don't get me started on how dirty the place was just alone roaches crawling everywhere, the floors were sticky, etc. I highly do not recommend this place.

It should not be a surprise, but it's rather huge. My sister and I already had tickets, and all we had to do was show our IDs, get our tickets scan, and we were able to go right in. From the entrance, there are no signs that indicate where the stage is, so you have to walk around a bit, but it's not difficult. The bowling lanes are straight ahead and there's a long bar. They have some cool looking cocktails, and the one that really caught my attention was a peanut butter espresso martini. For the longest, because I was afraid of how much it would be (it actually wasn't too bad), I resisted the urge, but after the concert, I got one and it was delicious, even though it was not jazzed up and looking fancy like a typical espresso martini. They put it in a plastic cup and that was pretty much it haha XD. Anyways, the concert was a blast, and it's awesome that we could literally stand right in front of the stage, no barriers or security with a gap. It was an awesome crowd, and even the some of the artists came into the crowd. Even though it's not the smallest space, that made it feel more intimate and it was a fun experience. The sound was amazing all around too. I haven't been to many concert venues in NYC, but I have no complaints about this one really, though the drink's presentation was a bit of a letdown for me. I'd be back!

In many ways, they have, including the layout, the way the guy at the front desk with a Brooklyn accent answers every single phone call to answer the exact same questions about lane prices, and that it's still a haven for kids bday parties. But I was pleasantly surprised to see they've made a lot of modern updates, including the ability to put gutter guards on for specific players and not needing the gutter guard to stay on for an entire lane the whole time you're playing. They take reservations except on days when schools are closed. We went on a school holiday and had no trouble getting two lanes for our group. The lanes are smooth and pretty much operate as intended, which I can't say for all of Brooklyn's bowling alleys. Prices are low and I appreciated being transported back to the Brooklyn of the early aughts, when I came here often as a kid. I brought sanitizing wipes to wipe down the balls because I'm a germaphobe, but as far as the cleanliness of the place goes, it could be worse.

We came on a Saturday and it was very busy and crowded. There were so many birthday parties and kids running everywhere. The place was hot and smelled like fried food. We joined the wait-list at 3 PM and didn't actually get called until a little after 5 PM. We waited outside at some chairs outside of the public school across. The employees even said if we don't get called by 6 PM, even if we waited 3 hours, we will still not be able to use the Groupon. Thankfully, we made it before that. This location only has 35 lanes which sounds like a lot but it's only one row which means the Mineola one prob has double or triple the amount. At one point when it got cold outside, we came inside and just watched people play claw machines. The big one near the entrance is about $5 per swipe and people play like 10x without getting any prizes but it was very entertaining. When we got our lane and our bowling shoes, we went to our lane which only had 4 chairs and a small table. The party at the next lane had 10 people and kept coming over to our side. Never knew you can have 10 people in a lane before! We had 6 on ours. As for bowling balls, there's no extra hanging around in racks behind us. It's just whatevers on the lanes already so we had to go to other people's lanes to see if they needed that particular weight/size to grab them. After the 3 hours we were waiting, we were so thirsty so we went up to the bar to ask for a pitcher of water. No one ever came with a pitcher of water. We had 4 different people ask after waiting awhile in between. Then, finally we gave in and ordered a pitcher of Blue Moon beer for about $30. It was cold and light which I liked. The restroom was never crowded surprisingly for the amount of people in the facility. There were about 4 stalls and 2 sinks. As for parking, the parking lot in front was always packed and people still drive in to look for parking. There's very few spots and sort of narrow with a lot of foot traffic. I prefer parking under or on the side of the bridge. All in all, bowling was fun - I always break a nail but the waiting and crowd was not. Will definitely stick with Bowlero Mineola next time.

If you're going bowling in Queens, keep reading -- especially if Bowlero is on your list…read more I recently stopped by Bowlero Queens in person to inquire about pricing and party packages. The manager on-site was helpful, handed me a printed flyer with detailed pricing, and directed me to call a number to make the reservation. Enter Nikky from corporate. From the moment she answered the phone, it felt less like hospitality and more like a customer service crash course gone wrong. When I asked to book the package I had in hand, Nikky quickly informed me that the prices I received -- from their own staff, mind you -- were "outdated" and said, and I quote: "I am NOT going to honor that price." No apology, no offer to meet in the middle. Just a hard no. This wasn't about asking for a discount or a handout -- I simply wanted to be charged what I was told. To make things worse, before even sharing the new (and significantly higher) pricing, Nikky insisted on collecting my cell number and email, saying she couldn't give me a quote without it. So let me get this straight -- you won't honor your company's own printed material, but you will gatekeep prices unless I give up my data? It felt less like hospitality and more like corporate clickbait. Oh -- and the new rate Nikky was quoting? Nearly double what the flyer said. I had 12 guests lined up and was ready to book on the spot. I declined and ended the call. Five minutes later, Nikky called me back and dared to question me if I had gone to the "right location".. well the manager gave me YOUR phone number so you tell me.. She claimed she spoke to the manager and asked me to send a photo of the flyer I had. Naturally, I refused -- she had already made it clear she wouldn't honor it. I told her I'd post it here on Yelp instead. Her tone? Unfazed. To top it off, they charge a 21% reservation fee, whether you book online or by phone -- and that's before the mandatory tip at the venue and taxes! So if you're looking for a smoother, more transparent experience, take my advice and head to Bowl 360 in Astoria. Better pricing, easier parking, and no corporate runaround.
