I saw numerous very young-looking employees, including teenagers, throughout the space, and the atmosphere felt noticeably unprofessional. One girl at the register appeared extremely young. I considered asking her age but did not want to embarrass or shame her over something that was not her fault, so I assumed she was related to the owners or otherwise connected to the business. I do not blame children or teenagers for being inexperienced. Responsibility lies with the adults who hire, train, supervise, and manage them. It was also astonishing that staff apparently assumed I could not understand them because I was not speaking their language. I am fully Albanian and understood exactly what was being said. I have no issue with them speaking Albanian and absolutely do not think they should stop. They simply need to watch what they say around customers because they never know who understands them. That applies from the youngest employee to the owners. Professionalism should not disappear because you assume a customer cannot understand you. Most disturbing was what happened to my three-year-old son. He was cornered by about five children and repeatedly bothered to the point I considered it harassment. One child even asked to see my three-year-old son's underwear. That is wildly inappropriate and disturbing. He is a toddler and should be able to enter a children's business without being surrounded, intimidated, made uncomfortable, or asked invasive questions about his clothing or body. Children will be children, which is exactly why competent supervision should exist. If several children can corner and continue bothering a three-year-old like this, who exactly is watching the play area? Parents pay with the reasonable expectation that the environment is supervised enough for children, especially the youngest, to play safely and comfortably. I was also concerned by what appears to be a broader pattern of complaints involving racism and homophobia associated with this playspace. I have heard mothers discuss these concerns and seen past Google reviews raising similar issues. To be fair, I will not label an entire business racist or homophobic based solely on secondhand conversations or other people's reviews. However, during my own visit, I personally noticed behavior from a few younger employees that I felt implied racial prejudice, making previous complaints much harder to dismiss. I cannot verify every allegation ever made about this business and will not pretend I can. I can only speak to what I witnessed, and it was enough to make me question the culture and level of professionalism being tolerated. I also worry about what would happen in a genuinely serious situation. In a space that struck me as heavily staffed by very young, inexperienced, and sometimes unprofessional employees, I question how effectively an emergency, conflict, or serious incident involving a child would be handled. Hopefully that never happens, but a children's space must be prepared for it. A lack of maturity, supervision, or professionalism may seem merely irritating during a normal visit, but in a serious situation it could have much greater consequences. That is why the atmosphere I witnessed should not be brushed off as harmless. There is a more expensive option of renting the entire space include play area which shut down public play for other kids if you like =guarantee safety for all kids. This is a No Shoes premise for play. That's different/unique but nice and guarantee clean facilities. You register/pay at front reception union entering and given a wristband for access inside. The wristband is use to enter through the security door (for safety and kids cant just randomly leave and no outside non-paying strangers can enter). Once you enter that security (automatic doors), you must remove shoes and leave in cubby. Must wear socks- socks are available for purchase if you came in with sandals/heels. Then you can enter the play zone. The party room is a huge igloo in the back (outside on their patio), so you do enter deeper in the play area to get to the patio. The room is already set up with the theme/decors of your choosing. The party room package have a few themes that you can choose from and comes with banners, balloon arch (staff makes it), tables/chairs all set uo with theme tablecloth. There are extra tables set up for food/drinks. They even provided paper towels, baby wipes/hand wipes and hand sanitizer on the tables. The birthday child gets a throne and each child get a goodybag. If you get the next package tier up, it does come with food (chicken nuggets etc) and all parties comes with apple juice for each child. My sister in law opt for outside food catering which the premise charges a fee to bring outside food/drinks ($75) plus cleaning fee. They also automatically cut the birthday cake for your party and serve all guests. The team here do a great job in making the party room beautiful and work amazing with you. They are very attentive, helpful and clean. I seen them clean constantly to ensure a beautiful and clean room (also for safety as we don't want kids to trip and fall on spills). Fast breakdown and throughly cleaning as you know kids are messy. The family did paid extra 30min so we can have more time to get our stuff out of the room and divide up the remaining leftover food. We got everything out and at the front for safe-keeping while watching the kids play in the area. The kids were super happy here. Fyi, they have limited space but is available- freezer for the ice cream cake. Saw 2 fridges in the front where they keep the apple juice. Maybe 1 is a freezer as I didn't look closely. There is a large TV security cam of the back patio/private party which is helpful- that explains how they were so attentive! This place is great at entertainment and security. Everything is well thought out so that kids are happy and safe here. Thick playmats for kids and clean facilities. There was another party after us which had rented the entire space because they announced on the microphone that free open play was ending (gave a few min warning) and then we all left (saw next party arriving) and staff was cleaning/tiding up the play zone for then. Stray balls were picked up and toss back into the large ball pit. Rides/machines were wiped down and floor was swept clean. The staff was fast, efficient, throughly and amazing. There is so much for kids to do! The first floor has a big ball pit, slide, swings and lots of other things to keep the kids busy. My daughter was having a great time exploring everything. The party was on the second floor, and this is where my daughter found her favorite activity -- the bead pool. She sat there for almost an hour picking out different beads and making necklaces and bracelets. She loved it so much and probably would have stayed there even longer if she could! She also really enjoyed building with the wooden blocks. They had big foam blocks out on the terrace too, which she had fun building with. I liked that there was a good mix of things to do. It wasn't only running around and climbing. Kids could also sit, build, create and just enjoy doing their own thing. The birthday room was really spacious too. There was plenty of room for the kids and parents, as well as space for food, decorations and activities. It never felt crowded. I also liked having the bead pool, wooden blocks and foam blocks on the same floor as the party room. The kids could enjoy different activities and still stay close to the party. The third floor was closed when we visited, so we didn't get to see that part. But honestly, there was already so much going on that my daughter didn't even get a chance to try everything that was open. We really enjoyed our time at Space Club. My daughter had a great time at the birthday party, and we left feeling like we still had more to see and do. We would definitely come back for a family day and spend more time exploring. Check-in and check-out are very fast and efficient. Once you've created an account on their website, you simply provide your phone number at check-in and again at check-out, and that's it. You can use the credit card on file or choose a different payment method. The only thing that wasn't very clear was how the lockers work. You need to bring your own lock if you want to secure one. We didn't have a lock, and I didn't see many lockers actually locked, but we had no issues. A quick explanation at arrival would have been helpful. In terms of cleanliness, I actually had a very positive experience. During the two hours we were there, I saw multiple staff members actively cleaning the space several times, including common areas and play zones. That said, beads in the bead room do tend to scatter everywhere. While the space was generally clean, the loose beads can be a potential slipping or choking hazard and could benefit from closer monitoring. Outside food and drinks are allowed, which is a huge bonus compared to other indoor play spaces that require you to purchase everything from their café. The café itself is nice, spacious, and clean. High chairs are available, and there's plenty of seating for adults to relax while kids play. The bathrooms are spacious as well, though not all of them have changing tables. Overall, Space Club offers tons of engaging activities and clearly succeeds at keeping kids happy--mine had an amazing time and ran around nonstop for the full two hours we were there. I also appreciated how warm and cozy it felt on a frigid winter day. It's open seven days a week, 365 days a year, which is especially great for school closure days that fall on a Monday when many museums and other attractions are closed. We'll definitely be back.
