It's great place to bring the boys out to hang out, a place decent date night with your partner and for anybody in general. I do recommend playing the weather simulator game since it has a bunch of options to play solo and coop. Then there's the box bird game that pins two players to collect as much points as you can. Pretty simple. I did enjoy this fighting game that doesn't require much knowledge. It has your simple lows and heavys and an auto combo. Pork was a great character to play with. On the day of my event all I had to do was show up with the Birthday Girl. My daughters party exceeded my expectation as I had never seen the facility in person until we arrived. The parental lounge was nice and cozy leaving the adults an opportunity to sit down and relax while watching everything through the glass doors. The temperature in the environment was climate controlled leaving guests comfortable. The private party space was lit up with decor, and each child's seat had a special favor for them to take home. Activities took place while eating and socializing, the kids were able to participate in play with Max Adventures staff leaving them singing and dancing for joy. I would definitely recommend Max Adventures to all of those who are looking for a 100% private party space with an amazing staff to assist along the way. Trust Me! Book Your Party Now! Barcade has a few locations around NYC, and I went to this spot. They have soooo many arcade game here. Classics like street fighter and a bunch of other old school games. Each game takes at least 2 tokens, so definitely grab a few if you plan on playing for a while. One tip is if you put tokens into a machine and it isn't working, just go up to the bartender and let them know. They'll help you out. As for drinks, they have a pretty big selection of beers on tap. Cocktails, and other drinks. Small snacks if you get hungry while you're playing too. Since it's a bar you will get carded after a certain time, which makes sense since alcohol is being served There's family day on Sundays from 12-5pm, so families can come in during those hours and enjoy the arcade. Overall, this is a fun spot to grab some drinks, play arcade games, and hangout with friends. Definitely gives you that nostalgia arcade feeling, especially if you grew up playing these games.

The drinks are basic--beers, shots, beers and shots. I had a margarita and it wasn't the best I've ever had--but I came here for pinball, man! The bartender was attentive and friendly. She told me about the games available and which were newest. I had hoped The Mandalorian and Halloween games were still around, but they had sadly moved on. First, I still had a great time! Secondly, this just shows this venue changes out their games fairly often, and that's a plus for regulars. I should also mention, for NYC, the drinks are very reasonably priced. The variety of pinball machines was impressive and super cool. Twilight Zone, Monster Bash, Jaws, Stranger Things, Deadpool, Demolition Man, Elton John, and more. You can use quarters, but the machines also take one dollar bills, which I found super convenient. I gave the bartender a 20 and she gave me 20 ones, and I had a blast. Each machine has a cup holder for your booze. I enjoyed each machine for a different reason. I actually enjoyed the Elton John game a lot! And Monster Bash was pretty cool and seemed to let me have a lot of extra games. You can tell these games are loved and well cared for. Clean and immaculately maintained. This is a fun, low-key place to check out if you like basic, low-priced booze and pinball.

They have private party rooms where they'll bring in pizza and drinks and more for your kiddos. 2. There's built-in entertainment like mini-golf (obviously), a surprisingly extensive arcade complete with tickets to win and redeem for plastic that your kids will love and you will hate. 3. The staff is seriously on point. I'm telling you, they have headsets! They're communicating in real time about where everyone in your party should be, and what needs to be happening. I appreciate you people. 4. There's a BAR FOR THE ADULTS. I can't stress this enough. You know how parents just stand around awkwardly while their kids scream and play and run? Well, it's better when you have a drink in your hand. They've got a solid beer selection, frozen rum punch and pina coladas (see: shipwrecked), and some bottom shelf liquor that the bartender looked into my friend's (the parent of the birthday girl) dead eyes and offered him a heavier pour on the house. This is going to be a staple in my life for the next five years or so, and although I'm sure I'll get tired of it, at least there's a bar.
