If you want to buy more coins, you can easily go to kiosk instead of asking a staff. Upon entering you can buy Asian snacks and everything is by weight. We came on a Saturday @ 11 am- it was also their grand opening, which we didn't know about, so we received some freebies with purchase. We opted for the (best value) $120 package, and my daughter played a good amount of claw machines- she won 5 plushies. I personally think the machines weren't rigged- it's all skill/ luck. The plushies that my daughter couldn't get, I saw other ppl getting them and vice versa. There's a wide variety of claw machines with cute/ authentic plushies as well as figurines- lots of Sanrio- Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Pokémon, Rilakkuma, etc. You can exchange your winning plushies for points to save or trade-in for other things. Great options to have & the point system is very reasonable. The second floor had a huge selection of anime figurines, collectibles, and plushies for sale or trade. The toys are all name-brand and legitimate (from Sanrio or Pokemon), as opposed to the multitudes of other claw machine places in Flushing or Manhattan stocking bootlegs or store-branded toys. Costs 2-4 bucks per play depending on the plush, and we typically have good luck getting toys in 1-5 tries on average. They sell bubble tea there too, which is nice. Really nice new facility with a lot of different claw machine options and blind boxes for pretty affordable prices too. The claw machine experience on the other hand is definitely not worth the price you pay. The base starting purchase is 21 tokens for $20. If you check-in on Yelp it also offers you a "free play" which is 3 tokens, however you can't actually play anything because it's 4 tokens per play. That means you only get about 5 plays per $20 but it takes at least 10 plays to win the playout aka the claw be strong enough to grab the plushie. It's nice how they're transparent with the prices of their prizes, most averaging at $40+ but like I mentioned before, I spent at least $40 on tokens and still wasn't able to win playout due to other inconsiderate customers. The machines also mention that you can ask a staff to help reposition an item to help you win it, but they were pretty unfriendly and more interested in talking to their friends- pretty valid but not the best customer service. read more

Awesome new claw machine arcade that opened up in Flushing. The plushies/stuffed animals are good quality and authentic with tags from Japan unlike some of the newer ones that have opened up. The decor is modern, colorful and chic with anime-themed posters. The machines themselves are neon color themed and looks super fancy. There's a lower level that has a wide selection of anime figurines for sale. The popular ones are pricey but the lesser known animes/characters are better priced. There's almost always a clearance section for $15 figurines. Worth a visit if you're in the area. read more

The BEST claw machine arcade I have ever been to in New York!!! The place is extremely spacious with a huge variety of claw machine games, all filled with the cutest plushies and tons of variety. There are Sanrio characters, Pokemon, Kirby, figurines, and more. You can even exchange the plushies you get for points to trade in for different plushies and figurines. One thing that stands out is the staff - they are absolutely phenomenal. They are SO kind, fun, and made sure I had a great time. Lots of walking space - so you don't feel cramped like other arcades. A lot of the plushies are REALLY CUTE and some I've never seen before! They have signs in each machine that will tell you the market value of the plush online. You can also ask the staff to adjust the positioning of the items in the machine. I don't typically write reviews, but this place definitely deserves good words - have been going on and off to Project KE several times since it gives happy vibes. Have won a couple of things.. The claw machines are a mix of skill (knowing positioning is key) and luck of the claw strength (seems kinda random since the ball machines with the large Sanrio plush can possibly grab it in 3 shots if you're lucky or it can take several attempts / overall very random since I've seen the claw do some weird stuff after alot of attempts). Staff is very friendly! They can be busy at times since they're juggling the planning of their grand opening and such but they're usually very helpful as long as you flag them down for help if there's not already someone going around. The trade in system with points and for plush in machines is very generous. Definitely recommend stopping by and will continue to come by here myself :) the plushies are legitimate imports from Japan and not stuff from drop shipping stores which is amazing for a crane game place and worthwhile if you can manage to get something. read more

I came here twice but different days. My first time was on a weekday and I didn't get much experience because no one was playing. Most machines would require 4 coins which equal to $4 to play a game. The games are 1, 4 and 6 coins. To get better deal, you may consider downloading their app to get extra coins and raffles. The second time was a Saturday and I definitely see more people in there playing. I didn't pay too much attention around me as I was playing and winning some Sanrio. Super fun claw machine arcade with lots of cute plushies in various sizes!! The cheapest and smallest, about the size of a fist, start at 2 tokens a try, with the priciest and biggest (very huggable) at 5 tokens a try (1 token = $1). I do wish you were able to buy less tokens at a time, as we had to start off with at least $20 for 21 tokens (25 if you download their app and are a first-time user). Took us about 7-15 tries per win depending on how lucky and how difficult the machines were... lol. The most noticable thing was that the staff members were so kind and considerate! One of my friends was really struggling with getting a plushie and the staff members re-arranged the contents for him, and even offered a couple of tips on how they thought he could best pick the items up. If you buy a good amount of coins and need one or two extras, you can try to ask the staff -- they gave us some extras Obviously because they're arcade claw machines they're lowkey rigged and will drop the items a lot, while gripping them tighter randomly, but the fun is worth it if you don't have expectations. read more

This spot wasn't hard to find, my friend and I was looking for it on the google map and it was right in the corner with a bright sign going vertical that said project ke, it was very spacious compare to the other gacha spots, there was also a downstairs but didn't get to go downstairs me and my friend was so in to playing the gacha up stairs. Staff was very friendly, the plushies they had were super cute, I did win two of them out of all the plushies I got from the other gacha spots that I won from. I want to start off by saying this, the workers there are VERY kind and helpful. As of the time that I'm writing this review, they have a policy where if you win a prize from a claw machine, but you want a different one from that same machine, they will exchange it for you! They also help out with machine jams and answering any questions about larger Prize Exchanges. Secondly, the Win Rate of the machines. I see some review bombs mentioning that they spent $150 (which is doubtful) and they won "nothing". If you spend that much money HERE, and you don't win a single thing??? To be plain and upfront honest, that is a Skill Issue, not a machine issue From what I have seen from the people who come in, 7 guests out of 10 walk out with a prize! The machine's claws have a fair grip, not too tight but not loose either, if you grab a toy and it lifts up all the way, then it's likely you've already won! In the back, they also have claw machines where you can win boxed figurines, I won a Sailor Moon Princess figure on my first try, their claws for Those machines have rubber tips on them, which guarantees a good grip on the boxes. Some other games have little "Gatchapon" (capsule) balls with little prize notes inside of them, whatever pride is in the Gatchapon (capsule) is what you get, whether big or small! Some machines offer gundam hobby models that you can win by winning a select amount of poke balls in the machine! If you win enough prizes from the claw machine, you can trade those prizes in for some even bigger prizes! Some of their "Exchange Prizes" are limited edition and collectors only items, ALL AUTHENTIC! I traded in my 3 prizes and got a Limited Edition Hatsune Miku Figure that, according to the box is "Prize Only", which makes it rare since these shops don't sell it for money. $$$. Keeping in mind the win rates of these machines being higher than Dave n Busters , and the value of the items you can exchange as better prizes, the price per coin is $1, with some machines only requiring 2 coins to play. I talked to the owners and looked at the plushies and the sailor moon figure I won myself? and I saw that they are licensed and 100% Authentic, NONE OF THE PRIZES ARE FAKE/KNOCKOFFS! TL;DR To make it short, The owners and workers there are VERY helpful. The prizes are all real and Very easy to win due to the claws Grip and Strength. You can exchange claw prizes for bigger prizes, and none of those prizes are cheap knockoffs. The price per coin is $1 where a good amount of the machines only need 2 coins to play. You are almost guaranteed to walk out with at least 2 prizes for $10 in coins, based on other customers experiences (that I noticed while I would play) and my own win rate. If I could add 5 More stars to this review, I would make it 10/10, HIGHLY recommend for a fun trip with a group of friends, or go there with your kids! Very nice location but warning to those coming to play the claws. They seem to be on a fixed payout schedule. Very obvious to see when it would have 7-8 loose grips and then a vice grip. Sadly the best way to play is to just stand behind people that give up which is a shame. read more

The claws here have virtually no grip and some of them twist at seemingly random times when going down. I'm not expecting to win every time I visit but it's dejecting spending so much and getting a good enough grip to lift a plushie up to the top only for the weak grip to loosen and drop it. The plushies are cute and legit which is what makes them stand out from other spots. They also have an app that I find hideously designed and confusing but I downloaded it during my last visit and got an extra play. Make sure you're okay with sharing your Google Drive space permission though since they ask that if you signed up with your Gmail. The last time I went, the staff pretty much ignored me and chatted amongst each other. I think I'm done visiting this spot. read more

First off I'd like to say the people who worked there were very nice and helpful. I bought $60 worth of tokens hoping to get a few Sanrio items but ended up not winning a single item. I like to say I'm pretty good at claw machines, not an expert but I do pretty well. In Teso X the same day I got 12 plush with $50. The games at Project Ke are $3 to $6. I played the Rillakumma machine 5x at $3 a pop and each time it picked up and dropped it. Same with the Sanrio machine. 5x at $4 a shot. Each time was a solid grab and each time dropped once it starts moving. I expected at $4 a game payout would be at 4-5 plays. Not the case. Would've stopped there but we already had the tokens, so we tried random machines and each time it would pick up and drop thus we left empty handed. The girl working saw our frustrations and offer a free play only to see us pick the Sanrio item for the 6th time and drop it. Super frustrating. I could only assume the 5 star reviews are friends. Yes the plush are authentic but you are paying $4-6 per play and it takes at least 4+ plays on average to win a plush so most of the time you either loose or, even if you win, barely break even. The fact that the claw can spin as it comes down, making it less skill and more luck, doesn't help. That's just how the business works. As others have mentioned, the plush are spaced sparsely apart which puts the odds against players. My issue is that the staff was constantly readjusting any plush that might be touching and/or overlapping as a result of play (aka reducing your chance of landing on a plush unless you position it squarely above). I have witnessed this multiple times. On a recent visit, a plush I had been intentionally pushing to the side was immediately readjusted when I stepped away to buy more coins. I purposely left my basket with coins on the machine to signify my intention to return but a staff member still opened the machine and adjusted the plush. Unlike other locations where staff members are hovering the machines in order to adjust prize position to help patrons win, this place appears to be doing the opposite. Yes the novelty is fun but I can have fun regardless if the plush is "authentic" or not. Don't think I will be coming back. read more
