Interior Design of Teso X

This is an arcade dreamland where people of all ages (kids and adults of different shapes and sizes) can take your chances at grabbing some unofficial Sanrio + Stitch character and other adorable Pokemon plushies from regular and smaller claw machines. Selection wise though is only okay, I would say there aren't too many variety as a whole. So, don't get your hopes up expecting to see all your favorite cartoon characters in there. If you do happen to see Hello Kitty and My Melody plushies, then definitely consider yourself lucky. For both regular and smaller claw machines, it's two tokens ($2) per play with ratio of 1 token = $1. I think the smaller claw machines are easier to play because you can actually see the space between the claw above the object than trying to eyeball it on the side for the regular machines. Don't get me wrong though, it shouldn't really matter what the size of claw machines are if you happen to be good at them anyway to begin with. Customers can exchange their money for tokens when paying with cash in the kiosk. However, just remember that you won't be able to get any change back. You've to put in the exact amount. For instance, you can't just expect $10 back when putting in a $20 bill into the token exchange kiosk. If you're paying with credit/debit card, then you can do it at the front counter with staff around. It's cheaper to play compared to Up One & Gatcha. Workers are more than happy to rearrange the plushies for you to have a higher winning chance under customers' request. Only downside: You can't trade in the prizes for better ones unlike other arcade spots. If you're not interested in plushies/claw machines, they also have a variety of figurines, bigger-than-life dolls, blind boxes, bottled drinks, and models for purchase. So many to select...from Sanrio to Doraemon to other Chinese cartoon characters that you don't even know the names of lol. Price wise tends to be on the more expensive side though. The highlight is probably the two gigantic robotic figurine standing right in the middle of the store. Definitely a great photo opportunity for kids and fans in my opinion. It's a spacious spot to chill and/or kill time either by yourself or with friends. Staff keeps the store very clean. I don't see strands of hair or lint lying around on the wide-spaced white tiles. Always like to drop by to check out whether there're new plushies in store.

Got my first retail labubu blind boxes from here. I was really lucky since they don't always have a restock. I also manage to get lulu pig plush pendant keychain here. It's a great place to look for blind boxes and play some claw machine. Did you know they have a membership system also? Why was I never told?! The membership is free. You get $1 for every 100 points and it doesn't expire. If only I knows about this earlier, I would've gotten so many points.

Place was big, they had so many lines of collectible blind boxes and cases from sonny angels hello kitty kirby you name it they probably have it. They also had a huge gundam wing mech in the middle. There were also mechanical moving build em pieces that play music as well. If you're into those type of collectibles and blind box breaks, this place needs to be checked out. The workers at front desk were cool and nice, some of the ones walking around the back was a bit abrupt and short when answering questions, but overall cool spot and glad we stopped in! Pricing is where you expected we actually did some math but buying some blind boxes individually was cheaper then buying entire master case.

This is a lot more fun than Teso Life, at least for guys and I suspect even for girls. Why? Because there is a whole arcade of claw machines with all kinds of cute Japanese plush stuffed anime characters. And for guys, there are tons of cool looking figurines and model kits. Prices are quite on par with what's available online as far as I can tell. We got our son the second Gundam model kit on today's visit, just in time for Christmas. There was much to be desired in terms of service, however. All the staff was busy and when we finally got help, the person was apparently frazzled and he was gone as quickly as he responded to our inquiry in one sentence without follow-up.

Cool interior and sooo much to look at in this store! This is a completely different store than Teso-Life, which is a popular chain around NYC. This is more of a hobby store where they have a section of claw machines, gundam, blind boxes, anime figurines, and more! The staff are really helpful and easy to approach for questions! We came here on a Monday afternoon and it was busy with people. Definitely a popular store while on Main St! Super fun spot.

Cute shop to walk around and explore, but that's about it. I stopped by to look for some prizes I could get for our office AAPI event but didn't end up finding anything that fits the budget. Fun to see what they have if you're looking for some time to kill.

This is a really cute, fun place that we discovered while in Flushing! It's anime themed with lots of fun products to purchase if you are into anime. The place is bright with trendy music and has an energetic vibe. The biggest draw is the claw machines in the back. You purchase tokens (1 token = $1). The machines have differing coin prices. The machines with smaller prizes cost 1 coin while the medium ones cost 2-3 coins. There are also machines with jumbo prizes! We won a few prizes with 30 coins. It's not terribly difficult to win but it's not that easy either. The prizes are pretty good quality. The ones we won were the squishy type of stuffed toy. All in all, it provided some fun entertainment.

Welcome, TESO-X! TESO-X was conveniently within walking distance from the Flushing-Main Street subway station. Today, Teso Life opened its first arcade and toy store in the heart of Flushing. Luckily, I got a game voucher from Teso Life's Bayside store while shopping there earlier this week. I redeemed the game voucher and tagged TESO-X via social media. I got four free tokens. I played the claw machines. I was so bummed. I didn't win anything. There were so many adorable stuffed animals inside the claw machines. This was a fun spot for all ages. I love, love, love TESO-X so much!

some more claw machines!

TESO-X is SO cool! It's a spin off from the Japanese retail store "Teso-Life". They sell blind boxes (smiski, sonny angels), Nendoroids, model kits, Gundam, Pokemon, diy book nooks and SO much more. They have some really cool displays of their Gundam and BearBricks. It's literally any collectors dream place. I would say everything is decently priced too. They take cash, credit cards, and tap to pay. The best part about TESO-X is in the back, which houses so many cool claw machines! I specifically came to TESO-X to hunt for smiskis, but I'm definitely coming back to try and win that Snorlax plush! I believe it was $1 per token and the machines take 2-3+ tokens depending on how big the prize is. The entire aesthetic of TESO-X is cool with its purple neon lights. It's very spacious and there's so much to look at and do.

I'm in love with this place, it's like anime claw and otaku land, just no manga... Recently I saw their post on the glass door stating reopen on May 12th, so I was anxiously waiting and excited to see what they've renovated inside. I caught a sneak peek before they actually opened, and I was already thrilled by the glass display. They definitely did not disappoint today, when I finally got to see everything. There's an entire Gundam wall and there's a slight amount of stuff that caters to kids (dolls and clothing; it's fancy though) but a good amount of stuff on marvel comics and anime. They even have some selection of what's popular in China right now; The little mystery boxes that are around like 11bucks each. About a third of the store is mostly claw games for stuffed animals, little anime figures, and keychain accessories, besides plushies. FYI: there's a ramp so entering here is wheelchair accessible. They take cash, credit cards and apps. And like their other Teso stores, you can leave your phone number and collect points for your purchases. There's a grand opening special for tokens at this moment and there's also methods to get free tokens by following them on social media and posting about it on IG. I actually ended up winning a plushie out of all my attempts but luckily all the tokens were free because of this promotion. I've already showed off this place to friends and I can't wait to come back to see what other inventories they will follow up with as time goes on. A ton of photos were taken from the first step into the store, so happy browsing people!!!

Run! Don't walk!! You got to go to this store if you're a fan. If you know, you KNOW! They have all the hard to find items associated with your addiction. Yes. I call it exactly that. Your friends and family will not understand your squeals of joy and excitement as you wander through the aisles and drool at the display cases. They literally will have what you have been craving. Don't bother to compare the prices with some sketchy seller on line. This is a bonafide brick and mortar store that caters to us. The claw machines are great with some awesome prizes. They are currently running a special for 56 tokens for $50. Very much worth it. They do not try to scan you. I can't wait to go back!!

This place is amazing! If you are anime and figurines collector, this is the place for you. The Teso store finally reopen to Teso X, an arcade/ anime store. There are so many various of figurines, Legos, blind boxes, and models of Gundam. In the back of the store is claw machines full of plushies such as Kirby, Pokemon, and Sanrio. You name it! Definitely worth checking out. They just opened up last week Friday.

They sell cards and packs at straightforward MSRP prices and have a solid selection available in binders and display cases. What really sets it apart is the community space in the back, which has tables for opening packs or playing matches. Location wise is on Roosevelt Ave inside the DongDaeMun Shopping Mall Inc which is on the same street as the 7 train. The anime store has three floors (upper floor, main level and basement). The main floor has a variety of blind boxes, Labubu figures, flash cards, plushies, car models, posters, stationary, figurines especially merch of anime and manga characters....many which I've not heard of before. My favorites are the classic Sanrio and Cardcaptor Sakura. Hugely decent selection of Miku (girl with teal-colored hair) merchandise towards the back of the store. Basement has different kinds of figurines that I've no idea about. My friend knows most of these characters by heart because it seems to be one of her favorite stores whenever coming to the Flushing neighborhood. Flash cards have good deals but the blind boxes are more on the pricier side imo, like $3-4 more compared to other places. Walking by the store on a holiday weekday, they were open at 11am and already a fair number of people walking around inside though most games were available. For video gaming they have racing, fighting, shooting, dancing games and other rhythmic music-related ones like drumming, guitar and tapping/sliding games. There is also a photo booth, a couple individual karaoke booth "games", air hockey and basketball hoops shooting games. They're known for having a wide selection of prizes though depending on the player and the machine it may or may not be worth your time--it's a for-profit business so expect the ticket winning system to net out economically in favor of the arcade. You're really paying for the experience, and prizes are a bonus. That being said when I walked around the claw machine area I saw some plushies being won, some by very young children, unsure of how many tries it took. Plenty of staff were around, not hard to get their attention to ask a question. There's a pretty large wall of prizes (compared to some other arcades) along the back wall to the right as you enter the store from the mall side, with some ginormous plushies, manga figurines, Pokémon cards, etc as your potential winnings. Really random but I noticed they also sell adhesive nail sets in various designs at the same counter. Gift cards are available.
