Anime merch and all things Kawaii in this store. There's great raffle opportunities and posters galore. I started early Christmas shopping since my kids are huge Anime fans. The biggest purchases I made here were all the Rilakkuma plushies. Prices are fair and comparable to online vendors so they are neither expensive or discounted but at least you can purchase on hand and not have to wait for shipping. The cashier was very friendly and he was good at answering my questions (I was hoping the wallpaper was prints one could buy but that's not the case). POP figures, Loungefly bags, Rement blind boxes and other collectibles on display. Lots to see!

High quality anime store that won't break your bank! Very reasonable and official anime merch. Plushies, manga, blind boxes, gachapon, snacks, and more! This is a fun find inside Tangram Mall. The decor is also really cute! Nothing cringe or over-the-top. They have a mock PC gaming set at the front, figures on display, and everything is clean + well organized. No weeb smell inside!

Located right inside Tangram Mall on the upper floor. Place is brightly lit when you enter. Not spacious though. Mainly sells a variety of cartoon character blind boxes, stationary, children's backpacks, figurines, utensils, bento lunchboxes, plushies, candy, sodas, onesies, comic novels, and just so much more. A good indoor or rainy activity to pass the time if you happen to have hours to spare before heading elsewhere. The mini blind boxes can tend to be more on the expensive side ($15) but of good quality in my opinion. Price can vary depending on which type and how big the figure is. Sadly they have stopped restocking any more of the Ghibli Studio ones though like Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service & No Face from Spirited Away. Only have gotten 3 out of the 6 various Totoro figures in total before they were completely gone from the shelves. Service from staff is fast and friendly. Accepted forms of payment are credit/debit card and cash.

Akiba House - conveniently located inside Tangram in Flushing, Queens. . Akiba is an anime store, mainly Japanese inspired toys and such. . The store itself isn't big, but it's packed with a lot of stuff, from toys, to charms, to stuff animals, figurines, collectibles, costumes, snacks and books.. . Oh, they also have capsule machines as well if you want to test your luck. . It's a cute shop for those who are interested in those things...

It's new store located in Tangram Mall upper level. Theme is Japanese anime. There are stuff animals, books and action figures. They have gashapon ( capsule toys) machine, taking about 3 tokens each. You can buy the tokens from the cashier for $2 each. Nice store to browse around. My kids got blind bags toys.

My new favorite anime store in Tangram. They have Japan-imported merchandise from BTS, Demon Slayer, One Piece, etc. They have so many adorable figurines and collectibles. Since the opening, there are a lot of people of the day, you might see long lines out the door. I have been there during the evening so I haven't witnessed the line compared to my friends. Worth checking it out if you are into anime.

    $21.99 with tax,do the math?

Plenty of anime merchandise to choose from. Average sized store so there isn't an large selection of manga, but enough stuff to leave happy.

This shop truly caters to every kind of TCG player, carrying a full range of games from mainstream titles like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering to popular anime-based games like One Piece and Gundam. The store itself is on the smaller and narrower side, so it can feel a bit cramped when there are a few people at the counter, but it's packed with value. They sell cards and packs at straightforward MSRP prices and have a solid selection available in binders and display cases. What really sets it apart is the community space in the back, which has tables for opening packs or playing matches. They're also an official tournament venue, which adds to its credibility as a local hub for serious players and casual collectors alike. For anyone in the area looking for cards, packs, or just a place to play, Gaming Universe Corp is a reliable and welcoming destination.

Not exactly my favorite place to test out my luck and skills because I feel like the mechanical claws are technically much more looser compared to Partea, Up One & Teso X added up altogether. Selection wise is only decently okay depending on what you like. And like I've mentioned, space is more on the cramped side. Luckily, I'm still able to get 3 mini plushies....despite some difficulty. $1 = 1 token + you need to put in 2 tokens ($2) per turn for mini claw machines while 3 tokens ($3) for regular sized claw machines. Only downside: Sorry, buddy! You're all on your own. No staff physically working at the spot so you won't be able to ask anyone to reposition/rearrange the plushies for a higher chance of winning. Probably won't ever go back again. It's too difficult to claw anything imo if plushies can't be rearranged when they get pushed to the side or towards the corners as the claw can't reach certain areas inside the claw machines. Nonetheless, best of luck to anyone who plans to stop by!

I stopped by to check out the Love & Deepspace merch that they had as they often post the new merch that they receive on IG. I think they might be one of the only places in NYC that import the. Location wise is on Roosevelt Ave inside the DongDaeMun Shopping Mall Inc which is on the same street as the 7 train. The anime store has three floors (upper floor, main level and basement). Overall, the space is clean and has narrow aisles. Fast service from friendly staff. Cash and/or credit/debit cards are accepted payment. The main floor has a variety of blind boxes, Labubu figures, flash cards, plushies, car models, posters, stationary, figurines especially merch of anime and manga characters....many which I've not heard of before. My favorites are the classic Sanrio and Cardcaptor Sakura. Hugely decent selection of Miku (girl with teal-colored hair) merchandise towards the back of the store. Basement has different kinds of figurines that I've no idea about. My friend knows most of these characters by heart because it seems to be one of her favorite stores whenever coming to the Flushing neighborhood. Flash cards have good deals but the blind boxes are more on the pricier side imo, like $3-4 more compared to other places. Next time if you're wondering what to gift your friends, you can choose to stop by here. I think there has to be something for everyone whether you're into anime or not.
