This place is a rip off.. i understand that its not a guarantee win, but when u see the claw pic up the prize get to the top and it opens!! Not even giving a fair shot to be able to get over to the opening. The staff there was a little snappy, she had to get her manager on the phone. I had tokens left they wouldnt give me a refund for, but they let my son choose an item out of one of the machines. So thanks for that Andi. But we wont be back!

One of my favorite claw machine places in the city! I wish I knew one of the girls name who helped us (she has shorter dark curly hair) but she was SO SWEET and amazing! She deserves a raise!! All the machines have a bunch of cool prizes and the atmosphere is very fun and chill.

What a fun place in Chinatown that houses many anime claw machines. It averages 3 tokens per attempt at the machine for a dollar a token. After forty tokens, we were able to win two stuffed animals. They can be exchanged for a different character but it has to be from the same machine. Overall, this was a good time for many. We came with young children but there were adults who were here on their own!

Really adorable gem in the heart of Chinatown! It's around $3 per play and even less if you pay more. The machines were generously organized and well maintained by the staff. You can swap out any plushie for whichever one you want in the machine if you win. I'd definitely come back and recommend.

Walked in after dimsum because the cute plushies caught my attention and ended up leaving after my friends and I spent $40. It's 3 token per play and $20 gives you 21 token so you get around 7 plays depending on the size of the machine you're going for. My friend and I really wanted certain plushies so we spent a bit more but really glad we left with something or we probably wouldn't return. Great place to go on a date and impress your date! Friendly service as well and they're very willing to exchange the prize if you win but want something else within the machine.

Japanese claw games are a total scam. But I actually did win some prizes here, which totally shocked me. I had fun. I will stop by again if I am in the area. The girl at the counter was very friendly. She let me exchange prizes.

It's a cute place but I wished they offered apple pay. They do have an ATM in there if you don't have cash.

Fun spot. A bit pricey but tons of selection and 3 free tokens for a review. Very kind staff that help you if you lose.

Very friendly staff, really cute plushies, lots of options, very clean place. $1 per token with most games between 2-3 tokens per play. There are "best savings" tiered options where you will get bonus coins if you buy $20 and up etc. CASH OR CREDIT CARD options. Self service via cash or cc with the attendant. Really happy to have this in Chinatown. P.s. They allow swapping of plushies within the same machine should you win one and want a different one. So just win one and trade for the one you really want!

Fun arcade store in Chinatown. They had more toys at the west village location though. Would definitely go again.

First, if you're planning to come here on the weekend, RESERVE YOUR SPOT ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME!!! And I'll tell you why... My friends and I decided on Friday afternoon that we wanted to come here the next day (Saturday). Me, being the planning-type person that I am, immediately hopped onto their website. I found a tab for "reservations", so I checked it out as I had a feeling that they might be pretty busy on the weekend. Sure enough, for our group of 6, they only had availability between 11am and 4:45pm or at 9pm. That was it! We were hoping for an evening slot, but we all decided to settle on the 4:45pm slot and just go have dinner afterwards. Before continuing, it's important to note that each person pays $17 for unlimited use of the board games for a 3-hour duration. When booking online, you have to pay for the entire group's "game time pay" up front in order to get the reservation. So, since it was 6 of us, I went ahead and paid $102 to secure our spot. **They are clear that they do NOT do refunds so make sure you can actually make the time slot you are booking!! Upon arrival, we gave them my name and they showed us to our reserved table. They gave us some quick instructions on what to do with the games when we were done with them, then they left us to have fun! So why is a reservation important? Because I can't tell you how many people we watched get turned away because they showed up and the place was already at max capacity! Our table happened to be right in front of both the door and the counter, so we watched a constant flow of people walk in and then immediately walk back out. Another important thing to note is that they don't allow outside food or drinks, but they also don't serve food... They have coffee drinks available to order as well as a few smoothie options and bottled/canned beverages. Additionally, they had some bagged chips and a few pastries, but that was it. So if you book a slot during dinner or lunchtime, you might want to ensure you eat beforehand as you won't be eating a meal here. The setup inside was a little chaotic. Very crowded with little space between the tables. Also, the staff seemed to not really care to want to be there. They weren't really attentive to the patrons there nor to each other, for that matter. At one point, the trash can was overflowing and I watched one staff member struggle with it and yelling for help but no one came to assist her... Final verdict: If you love board games, definitely come check this place out!!! Reserve your spot ahead of time and bring at least 3-5 people with you for maximum enjoyment!

Imagine driving 45 min to pick up an order. This after having to call because their website was broken and not allowing pickup orders. This was after originally posting for help on the discord. Finally you arrive but slip prior to coming in (to be clear not in front of this store) and find you are bleeding. Your partner asks if the have a first aid kit and what should be a simple yes/no answer turns into bumbling words which seems like a long way to not help. Some bumbling about maybe having a bandaid without any offer to give that. And then you're told "you can just go to the pharmacy down the street." Okay, you then go up and ask for the restroom, hoping to clean off the wound and use some tissue to stop bleeding. Same person "Oh, well- we don't have our restroom open right now." My response : "so you have no restroom open and no first aid kit so are completely unprepared for if someone gets hurt in your store?" The response: "Look dude what do you want me to say - we don't have stuff for cleaning wounds, our bathroom isn't prepared, we're busy blah blah blah" At this point, I become hyper aware I'm the only black person in the store. Does that factor in- I don't know. All I know is I was being treated awfully and the rare times that happens, I start searching for why in my mind. It's obvious at this point this person is just trying to shoo me off. Eventually, I blurt out "Fine, I have a pickup order. I just want my order. " "Oh, fine." And I say "I don't want help from you though, can I get help from someone else?" I then turn to a female employee because 1) I'm a woman and at this point are getting all the signs this person does not give a eff about actually providing any help to me. The female employee comes over and is smiling apparently ready to help and maybe diffuse the situation. The individual then goes "No, I'm the owner. And I'll just refund your owner" "I don't want a refund, I just drove 45 min to get here. I just don't want your help. You've started this off mean and awful." "I don't want your money. Look, just I'm giving your a refund. Is this your order?" He then shoves the three items I purchased at me and goes "I'll give your a refund." I protest - I don't want a refund. I'm not trying to get one over on the store. What I wanted was to be treated like a human being instead of an annoyance, especially when I am in pain and trying to stop bleeding. What I want is an apology or at the least, to be helped from someone else who won't brush me off both as a customer and person in need of help. What I walked away with is knowledge that the owner of the institution is a tactless person lacking of empathy and apparently the ability to have basic things prepared at his own store like a bathroom, first aid kit, or even a clean piece of tissue. Picture included as proof of purchase I was at the store

Your only other option is Midtown Comics which is much better in every way. I've been going here for years though both to get stuff and to walk around, and it's still not bad. However the workers there are very rude a lot of the time. It's kind of been like this ever since I've been there. Like they're either not that willing to be helpful or they are actually straight up rude. After years of going to this place I actually saw a figure I wanted for the first time in one of the glass cases, and decided to grab one. Unfortunately there was a little small sign on the OTHER case that said don't open. After I basically got my figure out one of the employees stopped me. I profusely apologized once I realized my mistake, and still the employee told me around five times not to open even after I stepped away and apologized many times. But still I stood there and apologized for the display (a bunch of boxes). Then he gave me what I wanted (after I already basically did it myself) and then I went to the register. I then said "sorry I've been going here for years but I never got something out of the case before so I didn't know." And then another employee (who by the way was facing the case the whole time) said "It's behind glass for a reason", as if I'm in a museum. I apologized and left. The staff has been rude and entitled before but this has been my worst experience yet. Fun to walk around in, but it's hassle actually going here.
