MCU Park is a small ball park that seats about 7000 people. It's more than baseball. Rugby and Soccer as well as music concerts are some of the other forms of entertainment. It's located on the Boardwalk at Coney Island. Naturally I have wandered around taking photos. I was especially mesmerized by the huge sculpture of Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese. I'll try to post my photos on order so you can read what I read. Also on the grounds of the park there's a beautiful dedication to 911. I looked on Yelp but so far I didn't find a separate listing. There's the title Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance. It also says Brooklyn Tribute Walk. I have three photos I took. It's better to see the 911 Tributes and the Jackie Robinson/Pee Wee Reese Sculpture in person. If you visit Coney Island it's just steps away. I'm a fan!

The home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, MCU Park is a baseball stadium in the heart of Coney Island. While it's no Citi Field or Yankee Stadium, it is a great place to enjoy some unpretentious minor league action. One doesn't have to be Mets fan to enjoy a game here. As a casual fan of baseball, I can easily say I've had a stellar experience here each time. Known at one point as Keyspan Park, the stadium has enjoyed a steady following over close to the last 20 years. The stadium isn't super tiny per se, sporting a solid 7,000 seating capacity. As per the usual notion of most small'ish stadiums, there is no bad seat in the house. I've been fortunate to sit out here and kill time in the stands as well as indulge it up in the VIP suites courtesy of work. The staff here seems nice, as folks have been kind of enough to direct me to my seats as unofficial ushers, concessions aren't terribly overpriced, and the people at willcall make it easy to claim tickets each time. I would also venture to say this is a great place to watch the sky turn dark. The fireworks on Friday nights is a great touch and sometimes watching a game here is the right kind of departure one needs from the busy lives we lead.

Went to a graduation an event at MCU. They had everything arranged nicely. The speakers sounded great, though there was a bit of back sound. I stepped to go to the restroom and they were very clean. The place overall is always so fun for all the events that they host.

Nicole in group sales was awesome in getting my group in for Opening Day. Great time. Long lines. Great beer. Coney Island Brew. Nice breeze. Scent of the ocean. Great crowd. Great entertainment. Good time was had by all. Cyclones won. Fireworks were a blast. I have been here several times before but as a group of 20 it was even more fun.

As far as the facilities of MCU Park go - I think it's pretty nice... It's got a couple different entrances - so whether your at the beach or wandering Surf Ave - it's easy to get into the park. There's clean rest rooms. Plenty of food and drink vendors sprinkled about. Interesting design elements like the giant light up circles in the outfield (best seen during night games). Location wise - being right on the beach - it can't be beat. Certain nights you definitely get the sea breeze coming up the boardwalk into the ballpark. And to have Luna Park in the background is just a friendly reminder that you're down in Coney Island. For more on attending an actual game in the park - see my review of the BK Cyclones: https://www.yelp.com/biz/brooklyn-cyclones-brooklyn?hrid=ViwBrK-qnbbBzD1MJAZHZg&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)

I really have mixed thoughts about this ballpark. For $17 you get a great view of minor baseball. If you're a diehard baseball fan like myself, you really get a great view of the action from players that are really working hard to make their major league team. The view is great, the fans are passionate, and its just a great environment to be at. the view is incredible. Beautiful view in the outfield, especially once the sun goes down and it is dark. However I must really knock them on their ability to run their ballpark concession. I do not know if the ballpark just wasn't ready for such a large crowd on opening day or if they're always this disorganized, but this has to be one of the most unorganized and disastrous ballpark food experience I have ever had. The lines to the concession stands are LONG (like one like 60 people deep - and it DOES NOT move fast). There just isn't enough concession stands to feed 7000 people. The staff is unprepared, slow and poorly trained. My friend and I waited 3 innings until we got to the front of the line and then they ran out of food for us. Their credit card devices weren't working. The staff were giving away food to the wrong customers. They have high school kids checking IDs for beer sales. A lot of things went wrong in this experience. You could just tell things were rushed, people had no idea what they were doing. Total amateur hour. The food looked terrible, overcooked and poorly prepared. I was very turned off by the food. And its not like its cheap either! Overall I had a great time with my friend, but this ballpark needs to get their shit together. If not for the view and the cheap tickets, I would not come back.

Ran my first 5k on Sunday and finished up running all bases in this baseball park! This isn't the biggest baseball park I've been to but it was pretty dope. It has a nice warm welcoming to it. They have a lot of Brooklyn beers available (Coney Island.. Brooklyn.. ya get the deal), and the board walk connected to it If you want to take a walk on the beach, find some games to play, or just take a nice long walk.

It was my first time going to see the Brooklyn Cyclones game at the MCU park. Honestly it doesn't matter where you sit in the stadium, you'll have a good view of the field. Tickets are fairly inexpensive, we actually had a good deal for $15 with some Groupon. Very cute stadium with lots of different vendors to satisfy your thirst and hunger. I totally love how they have activities for the kiddies. Dang, I wish I was a kid again so I could have got my face painted. :-)! The location of the stadium is perfect, hence, you can walk from the beach, amusement park, restaurants, bars, boardwalk and train station to the stadium. If you are driving in, then take advantage of their parking space. You pay $6 if you already have tickets, now that's a sweet deal. Unfortunately the game I was at rained out, but I am looking to attend another game soon with friends.

I was walking down the boardwalk during sunset I snapped this pic of MCU Park. One of my favourite pics.

I'm a baseball fan so MCU Luna Park gives me that feeling of excitement without the steep prices at Citifield or Yankee Stadium. The historical Coney Island Amusement Park sits in the distance of left field, and the fabled iconic defunct parachute jump sits off the right field. The sunsets are spectacular as you watch the sun fade into the water which sits behind center field. Bright lights, peanuts, popcorn, Cracker Jack's, and that warm summer air reminds me why I love the game of baseball. This stadium is small and cozy, Nathan's hot dogs are sold here, and so are some cool alcoholic beverage. My son caught a promotional shirt that was shot up in the stands by the cheerleaders. There's not a bad seat in the house. Fireworks on Friday nights. The Q, F, B, D, Q, and N train are within walking distance at Stillwell Avenue. It's a wonderful way to spend a warm summer's night.

It was nice. They had vintage seats, the view was spectacular. I would attend again. But bring a seat cushion. Sitting for that long on those horrible chairs can do serious damage to the backside lol. Also, the concessions are pricey. 6.75 for a bottle of water... eekkk.. they do check bags and scan for weapons. Otherwise it was fun.

Visiting MCU park was a bit of an odd experience. The park itself, gorgeous, but the cast of characters providing the entertainment, (the Brooklyn Cyclones), laughable at best. Grab yourself a cold beer for seven bucks, kick your feet up on the rail and watch error after error courtesy of the Brooklyn Cyclones while baking in the relentless sunshine. Seriously, there is little to no shade, so if you're attending a daytime game, you're screwed! The view over the centerfield wall is one of the most unique in all of baseball, professional or whatever this is - little league maybe? Anyhow, it's of some crazy roller coaster with loops, corkscrews, high climbs and big drops. If watching the Cyclones and drinking six Coors Lights doesn't make you sick, the distant roller coaster sure will. Oh yeah, we happened to go on Seinfeld day, which included an opening pitch by the Soup Nazi and a complementary Keith Hernandez magic loogie bobblehead... awesome!

Spiffy newer ballpark that is home to the Mets' minor league team, the Brooklyn Cyclones. Just a great spot to watch a game. - Easy to get to by subway (D,F,N,Q) - Clean - Cheap beers and food - Close to Nathan's to grab a hot dog before or after the game - Right next to the Amusement park and attractions - Bar with patio right next door - Friendly staff - Great views no matter where you sit - Lots of between innings entertainment going on - Great place to take the family for a fun and cheap time - Cool views of the ocean and Coney Island - All around terrific ball park Yes, the neighborhood around it can be a bit shady, but they do a great job of making this a safe and clean family-friendly place to take the kids. Tickets to a game are very cheap, and there are only 7500 seats here, so no problem seeing everything. Goofy mascots, wholesome fun entertainment, hot dog races, peanuts, beer, baseball, t-shirt giveaways, and so much more. A major league good time can be had in this minor league park. Will definitely go back for more games.

Nice minor league ball park . The backdrop is Coney Island which really cool. The concession stands are basic ball park fare. I of course had a Nathan's hot dog with kraut and street onions with mustard. The seating goes foul pole to foul pole and bleachers in right field. The only netting is behind home plate. I'm still old fashion not crazy about all the netting the ballparks are putting up . Your there to watch baseball not play on your phone . The souvenir store was nice had a lot of nice items so much I bought three t shirts. Make sure to check their schedule this is a short season team don't start play until mid June .

Are there any spots with air conditioning at the ballpark?

I think the only spot with A/C (besides the 'luxury boxes') is the team store/giftshop. There's usually a good ocean breeze coming in off the beach tho...
