If you wanted to recreate that peach scene in the summer I turned pretty, this would be a pretty nice place to do it because they got some juicy peaches. No sugar syrup injectables needed. Jokes aside, I came to pick peaches mid August and it was a nice, seamless experience. Plenty of parking space and a few porta potties were next to it. No pets and no "big" bags allowed - they make you put your bag in some box to check if the size is fine. However, wagons for kids are allowed. They line up buckets with brown paper bags so it's easy for you to just grab what you need before heading into the orchards. When I went, the white peaches weren't sweet and ripe enough. Too crisp for my liking. They also had the least white peaches. However, there were plenty of yellow peaches. Some trees had juicier varieties, so you just have to taste test and pick from the trees you like. Nectarines were also available but in lesser quantities than the yellow peaches. The nectarines were not memorable. There were a lot of low hanging fruits so it's perfect for little ones to participate in. Checking out was easy. Just hand your bucket of peaches over and they calculate the cost by weight. It's 1.89/lb which is really not bad! I highly suggest checking their instagram account for updates on what's available for picking. Overall, I had a nice time here and would come again. There's even a store a few minutes drive away with freshly made apple cider donuts and other produce and jams.

Peach pound cake and apple cider donuts (half dozen)

Went peach picking early August and had a wonderful time! There were tons of peach trees to pick from and it wasn't crowded at all at 10am. Before your visit, be sure to check for updates on their Facebook page! Their latest post will tell you what is in season and other info. When we went, there were yellow peaches, white peaches, and nectarines. Some were super ripe right off the tree as you can tell when you gently squeeze it, it has a little give. Most were hard to the touch, but don't be fooled bcus once you have them sit out a couple of days at home, they will ripen! It was $1.89/lb and it's cash only! Free parking and free entrance. There was plenty of parking at 10am. Porta potties are nearby as well. The staff there were all so friendly too! We visited the country store afterwards. Got their apple cider donuts and the peach pound cake, but both were just okay, kinda dry. I've had better apple cider donuts at different farms. They also had homemade pies, and a variety of homemade salsas and dips. They also have their own Battleview Orchard bottled sauces. I was torn between buying the "Awesome Dipping Sauce" or their "Secret Sauce". Ended up getting their "Secret Sauce" and when I tried it at home, it just tasted like Chick-fil-A sauce. There's a Peach Shack truck outside that served smoothies, milkshakes, etc. We tried the peach smoothie and it was refreshing and tasted like fresh peaches! Also had a mini peach cannoli which was decent. Overall had a pleasant time here and would come back for peach picking!

Always the best fruit to pick. My family loves coming here for apple and peach picking. We look forward to our annual visits. We also come for pump ink picking in the fall. It's the perfect place for fresh fruit. Our kids have a blast!

We went to this place hoping to get some fresh hot apple donuts, but they're not available on Thursdays. But that's alright, we found their pastries were quite a sight, I picked out 4 pastries to bring home. They have a nice little store. I wanted to get some much more!! Their pastries were soooo goooddd!!! I hear this place has AMAZING apple pies!! I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in town. So good and very reasonable prices!

We had a wonderful time peach picking this week. Very family friendly. No parking or admission fees. Delicious fresh from the trees peaches and nectarines. Less than $2/lb! And don't forget to check out their country store. The best apple cider donuts around! Located not far from Freehold mall.

Battleview is a super cute place to pick apples. The apple orchards are extensive and they have a ton of variety. There is also a cute little pumpkin patch. Don't expect too many other farm activities though - this is mostly about the apple picking. There is also an incredible farm store with SO many baked goodies and other grocery items like cheese, produce, spreads and jams, etc. I had the most refreshing apple cider slushie during my last visit! Some logistical stuff -- parking by the orchards is plentiful. You aren't allowed to bring a bag in to prevent any theft. There are also port-a-potties in the parking lot. Apples and pumpkins are pay by the pound and prices are fair. You'll have to drive to the farm store from the orchards and parking there can be a bit more limited. Definitely a great option for U-pick apples. You do sacrifice some of those other farm activities like hayrides and mazes, animals, etc. The other option in town seems to be Happy Day, and cover there is like $30 bucks. For no cover and not a crazy crowd this definitely fit the bill.

Had a fun time here. Love their variety of baked goods in their store. They have a fresh hot apple cider donuts for $1.25 each or prepackaged donuts in the store. I bought their apple pie, salsa, and cookies. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend those hot donuts. We also went to the farm to do some apple picking. There was a good variety of apples. No fee to get in, 1.89 per pd of apples! Would love to go back for their fresh goodies!

Lovely place with so much to do! Had a great time walking through the hundreds of beautiful apple trees, picking apples, roaming the pumpkin patch & going on a hay ride. The place is beautiful with a lively atmosphere and looks beautiful during the fall. It's a great place to come with family and friends. Theres also warm apple cider donuts, hot cider, and tasty churros! All service was quick and convenient. Got 10 apples for $8 (cost is determined by weight) which is good especially as that includes the apple picking experience too!

One of my favorite places to go Apple picking. We didn't go this year but we absolutely went to get some Apple cider donuts! Lines are usually long but move quick, don't fret-it's worth the wait! The donuts will melt in your mouth. Definitely recommend but even if you can't visit the farm and pick fruit, you must go to the store and pick up some donuts.

This is a family run quaint country store that offers you homemade, delicious pies of many assortments along with cookies and bread. They offer a wide variety of homegrown fruits and vegetables that are simple sweet, tasty and very comforting. They offer many assortments of seasonal favorites and have many different sections of tastings. They are always willing to accommodate and everything is very clean. A visit you must and you won't be disappointed.

My family comes here every year. We absolutely love the fresh, warm cinnamon donuts, hot apple cider, apple picking, and pumpkin patch. Pro tip: get there early so you don't have to wait in a long line for donuts!

However, once we parked and got our tickets, things started moving better. There was more breathing room. This is not a traditional farm where you can pick your own berries. They may have that option, but we went for the activity section that they created. There were corn mazes for all sizes, games, and activities for all ages. There was a fenced kids section for smaller kids that was nice. Food was disappointing. Lines were extremely long and prices high. I would recommend eating before going. While my initial impression of this farm Was stress inducing, I was able to relax once we got into the games and activities it offered. I started off at the pumpkin area and then worked my way towards the sunflowers and food after. Was able to take all the photos i wanted this way. We also did the corn maze both times. It was less crowded at the pumpkin area doing it this way bc most ppl go there towards the end to leave with pumpkins. Would def come back but try a weekday next time even if some of the family friendly activities are closed.

This place is a REAL farm, operating since 1860, and is simply magical. You will find only the most wonderfully friendly staff, the most sincere pumpkin patch that Linus would be proud of, and a memorable day outside in the beauty of nature and what makes farm life, farm life. For $5 per person, you are covered for a hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch. A REAL pumpkin patch; not just pumpkin purchased and thrown in a field with straw. Like, maybe bring a small knife to cut these babies free to take home with you! The ride around was super cute with how they decorated the property (I won't completely spoil it for you!) and allowed you to take in the little changes in fall foliage peeking out. For $8 per person, you get access to pick your own flowers for $1 per sunflower and $0.50 per other flower variations, as well as a corn pit, tractor tire tower, obstacle course, basketball hoops, slides, and more. Our 4 year old absolutely had a BALL in the corn kernel pit and the slides really tested his bravery. You could tell the vibe was less about posing for the most perfect photo and more about just being together with family and friends. The two food trucks on location had responsibly prices pork rolls, hot dogs, apple cider donuts and drinks, whereas if you wanted to splurge and be a foodie, they had a BBQ food truck as well. Again, wonderfully friendly staff and the hot dogs have been approved by my toddler. Cash is much appreciated here, even though they do accept credit cards. This is OUR farm now and I can't wait to come back before the end of the season!

That also included a donut and apple cider after the maze. It was very well organized and they had people directing traffic to park. They had a trailer to buy tickets or present your Groupon, 2 separate lines so it went very quickly. We were given bracelets and were directed to the maze. Before going I read it normally takes about an hour and a half to complete the maze. It was a cool night and many people were arriving to enjoy the maze. We walked around and around for quite a while which is the whole idea. There were some muddy patches since it rained a little in the morning so after I slid in the mud one time I was more careful about where I was stepping. I felt like we were walking in circles and there are no clues or hints to direct you and unfortunately some people pulled down the tapes that mark off the paths so that made it more confusing. After about an hour and a half I was ready to get out of there. Unfortunately we never found the exit but instead made our way back to the entrance. We collected our donuts and cider and called it a night... Not a bad evening and a nice change from the dinner and a movie routine. I just think I'm better suited for the day time maze next time. It was $20(Kinda Pricey) for entrance but it includes a good amount of things to do. I added a picture that lists what all is included. When you arrive, there's a hay ride that takes you to the festival from the parking lot! Very kid friendly and lots of photo opportunities. My favorite part was the corn maze and the pumpkin patch. There are a few things that aren't included in the price. I saw a pumpkin cannon launcher that was extra and it was pretty cool to watch! The food isn't amazing and a bit pricey but it's to be expected really at something like this! They had BBQ, lemonade stand, funnel cakes, Playa Bowls and one of the food trucks had seafood. A huge slide with a corn pit, a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, food trucks, and so much more. Pro tips 1. Bring cash, they are cash only. $20 per person to get into the fall festival, there's usually a line because everyone wants to go, and if you forgot cash there is an ATM but the line for thr ATM seems even longer than the entrance line. Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound. 2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful. 3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.

Few years back, we figured we'd try and pretag a tree after Thanksgiving to go back and cut later in December, well it was the first year they stopped holding the tree for you where they would record the location by way of a grid system (like the game Battleship).
