The shoes, food, drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic), and arcade games are sold separately from admissions. Yes, be prepared to spend a little bit of money! *add nervous smile here* Either than that, I'm sure all of their locations are good places to bowl and spend time with loved ones! The Queens, NY, location specifically is clean and spacious. If you are hosting a large event for a group of 10+, I suggest calling the desired location's office phone number. A Rep can help create a package and provide a quote that works for your specific party. Online only provides standard packages. You can also (and only) bring cake, cupcakes, ice cream cake, and the like from outside. The place provides plates and forks if you're hosting an event. read more

I usually go to the Bowlero in Mineola, but my friends live in Woodside and wanted to go to this location instead. We purchased a Groupon which is only valid before 6 PM. We came on a Saturday and it was very busy and crowded. There were so many birthday parties and kids running everywhere. The place was hot and smelled like fried food. We joined the wait-list at 3 PM and didn't actually get called until a little after 5 PM. We waited outside at some chairs outside of the public school across. The employees even said if we don't get called by 6 PM, even if we waited 3 hours, we will still not be able to use the Groupon. Thankfully, we made it before that. This location only has 35 lanes which sounds like a lot but it's only one row which means the Mineola one prob has double or triple the amount. At one point when it got cold outside, we came inside and just watched people play claw machines. The big one near the entrance is about $5 per swipe and people play like 10x without getting any prizes but it was very entertaining. When we got our lane and our bowling shoes, we went to our lane which only had 4 chairs and a small table. The party at the next lane had 10 people and kept coming over to our side. Never knew you can have 10 people in a lane before! We had 6 on ours. As for bowling balls, there's no extra hanging around in racks behind us. It's just whatevers on the lanes already so we had to go to other people's lanes to see if they needed that particular weight/size to grab them. After the 3 hours we were waiting, we were so thirsty so we went up to the bar to ask for a pitcher of water. No one ever came with a pitcher of water. We had 4 different people ask after waiting awhile in between. Then, finally we gave in and ordered a pitcher of Blue Moon beer for about $30. It was cold and light which I liked. The restroom was never crowded surprisingly for the amount of people in the facility. There were about 4 stalls and 2 sinks. As for parking, the parking lot in front was always packed and people still drive in to look for parking. There's very few spots and sort of narrow with a lot of foot traffic. I prefer parking under or on the side of the bridge. All in all, bowling was fun - I always break a nail but the waiting and crowd was not. The manager on-site was helpful, handed me a printed flyer with detailed pricing, and directed me to call a number to make the reservation. Enter Nikky from corporate. From the moment she answered the phone, it felt less like hospitality and more like a customer service crash course gone wrong. When I asked to book the package I had in hand, Nikky quickly informed me that the prices I received -- from their own staff, mind you -- were "outdated" and said, and I quote: "I am NOT going to honor that price." No apology, no offer to meet in the middle. Just a hard no. This wasn't about asking for a discount or a handout -- I simply wanted to be charged what I was told. To make things worse, before even sharing the new (and significantly higher) pricing, Nikky insisted on collecting my cell number and email, saying she couldn't give me a quote without it. So let me get this straight -- you won't honor your company's own printed material, but you will gatekeep prices unless I give up my data? It felt less like hospitality and more like corporate clickbait. Oh -- and the new rate Nikky was quoting? Nearly double what the flyer said. I had 12 guests lined up and was ready to book on the spot. I declined and ended the call. Five minutes later, Nikky called me back and dared to question me if I had gone to the "right location".. well the manager gave me YOUR phone number so you tell me.. She claimed she spoke to the manager and asked me to send a photo of the flyer I had. Naturally, I refused -- she had already made it clear she wouldn't honor it. I told her I'd post it here on Yelp instead. Her tone? Unfazed. To top it off, they charge a 21% reservation fee, whether you book online or by phone -- and that's before the mandatory tip at the venue and taxes! So if you're looking for a smoother, more transparent experience, take my advice and head to Bowl 360 in Astoria. Better pricing, easier parking, and no corporate runaround. read more

I've never been to a bowling alley that has projection screens at the front of the alley. Fun! Got to watch a little basketball or whatever else was on. Nice lighting in the place. Paid $15 for one round. A little pricy but still fun. I bowled a 155. We had one weird mess up with the pins but they quickly resolved it. Feel that happens at least once at every alley. Got a Groupon for two hours for 6 including shoes. I forget how much I paid but I remember it being a pretty good deal. It was packed when we came but checking in was easy and they would take your number to text you once the lane is ready. I was last here when this place was operating under the name AMF Lanes. It looks like they have received a slight renovation under new owners. However, they have also raised their prices a little. It is now about $7.50 per person per game if you go before 7pm, or $9.25 per person per game after 7pm. A few games and food and drinks can certainly run a hefty tab. Regardless, this is still a nice bowling alley and they make some nice drinks. Food was decent American/Mexican selections. On their website, it shows a Monday and Wednesday night special of $17.89 per person for unlimited bowling after 7pm! I would try to hit this place up only at those times. read more

If you're looking for a fun spot to bowl in queens I feel like this is a good option. I haven't bowled in a few years but I liked how there was options for food and drinks and also an arcade. The food was good for casual food options and the cookie skillet was actually my favorite (I have a major sweet tooth). I will have to say that it was a little pricy and they didn't let us pay for each game and made us purchase a package that was 3 bowling games and included some credits for the arcade so I wish they would let you pay per game compared to having to pay for all 3. Went to Woodside Bowlero with my wife with a 2 hour Groupon. They sandwiched us in a lane between 2 kid parties where kids were constantly in our lane and screaming. To make matters worse, these are the most dry and un-oiled lanes I've ever bowled on. Seems like they place Groupons on the worst lanes even though there were plenty of empty lanes away from the parties. I would stay away from Woodside Bowlero and go to any other bowling alley. read more

I came here on a Saturday afternoon. This place was packed with parties. But the wait wasn't bad for a lane. Unfortunately, they werent able to give an estimate time for an open lane. So, you'll need to hang around the bowling area since you got 5 minutes to claim your spot once they send you a text. The place was really clean but the air con and fan on at the same time made it chilly! I would come back here on a weekday instead since the kids basically from the parties always ended up in your lane which was annoying. Wished staff would say something to them. Here's another quarantine find thanks to my friend, we had rsvp for 7pm on a Friday u get a 2 hour time slot. Once we arrived & got settled started w some drinks gave the Mule a try not bad decent taste & alcohol wise. Food we had Chicken wings very good w the garlic sauce , Cheese bread not bad at all. The Cauliflower poppers were surprisingly tasty great w the dipping sauces. Also had both Chicken & Steak quesadillas both were good. Once settled we enjoyed our time bowling , service was decent they brought out our food & checked on us periodically. I would give it a higher star rating, but the staff and the mismanagement brought the rating down. I was very disappointed by it all. I'm glad that we reserved a lane for 2.5 hours or who knows how long we would be waiting around, but just the fact that we were right by kids at a birthday party with inconsiderate guardians wasn't so great. The kids were running around like it was a playground. Had to watch out before you get ready to bowl or finish bowling. Also the fact that these kids would throw random gutter balls down our lane wasn't funny at all. At first it was cute, but then it got downright annoying. We spoke to the people helping out and the guardians, but they were of no help. Maybe next time there can be a way to separate kid parties to one side, and non kid parties on the other side. Actually have management that care about their patrons. There should be small print saying make sure to watch your children so they are courteous to other guests instead of running around unsupervised! Our server was no where to be found until it came to us going to her or her giving us the bill. I did see her at the restroom gossiping and spending time with other servers. I know you have to do your business, but at least be courteous about it and return at a decent time instead of gossiping and dissing the job you are doing. Nice establishment in Woodside, Queens. We threw a party here for my 4 year old on a Saturday afternoon. There were many other birthday parties going on that day. We booked three lanes with a meal package for a little under $1k. They have a nicely sized arcade when you walk in. Our package came with a couple of bucks on game cards for each kid. They tossed in a couple of extra ones as well. There were enough game varieties to break up the monotony of bowling for the kids. The lanes were clean and well kept. The large projector screens created a pretty cools bowling atmosphere with cartoons and sports playing. Kid friendly bumpers and rolling ramps available on request. Service was terrific. A "HBD (Kids name)" was set up on a stand on arrival. Pizza was pretty terrible. Veggies and dip platter pretty basic. Sliders were okay. Fries and chicken fingers pretty good. We always enjoy coming to this place. They have drinks for adults and snacks for adults and kids. The bowling is extremely fun especially if you go on glow in the dark Night. This place could've had a 5 but their customer service for the food server was really bad. This bowling alley has a small tight parking lot. Almost everyday of the week there is a deal. The venue is clean and spacious. They also have a small arcade . We ordered the alley sampler which included: wings, fried pickles, cheese nachos, chicken tenders and three sauces. Also I'm greedy and got fries. The food was good. The service was terrible trying to get a server went to the front desk twice and it took the server over an hour to come to us. I enjoy coming to this bowling alley. This was my second time here with a group. They are very good at accommodating a large crowd and running separate dining tabs. This bowling alley has a small arcade area, bar, and dining section. They have a pretty good menu. I love the buffalo wings. Others in my group really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. They also have a full bar - I usually stick to the Large Marg. Bowling here is fun filled and not competitive. All of the groups are in their own zone.
