Salmon baked potato and vegetable of the day

Great steaks and salmon. Outstanding waitress Virginia T. Clean restaurant and great menu.

Shrimp &Grits. Very creamy, just the right spice.

We had a great experience. I had the shrimp and grits and it may be the best I've had in SC. My wife had grilled Salmon and the flavor was great. My son had brick oven pizza and the crust was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped by Bovine's last night after seeing Nights of a Thousand Candles last night at Brookgreen Gardens. Ordered the Prime Rib while my husband was that hungry and decided on the wings. Oh my word that was the one of the best Prime Ribs I have ever had. Even my husband loved it and he usually isn't a prime rib fan. Service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. I wish I could remember his name. We will definitely be back soon.

Always the best service and amazing food. We were recently there with a very large group of 20 people, and they gave us two waitresses and took care of everybody, and I had the fillet with add crab and Bernaise with asparagus and seasonal vegetables as my side and it was absolutely fabulous and I ate every bite. Good job with great service to our party.

Took the Birthday Guy" to this place for his steak dinner. The restaurant offers inside and outside dining by the inlet. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous. The menu had many different options from seafood to steak to pizza. I had the fish of the day: swordfish with sweet potato and creamed corn. Delicate seasoning and perfectly cooked. Birthday guy had steak creamed corn and baked potato. Cooked medium as he likes and he said it was good. Granddaughter had a cheeses pizza since no kid menu was offered. We also had fried green tomatoes with Lima beans and coconut shrimp appetizers! Great tasting! Well seasoned and great portions. Biggest griefs: a photographer walking around taking pictures ! States 1 is complimentary but others are for sale... costly and low quality. Went for dinner not to be approached for pic sales...... and no kids

The Claw House - Crab balls

The Claw House

First visit to the Claw House and a good experience overall…read more Service was fantastic. No complaints. Started with Oyster Rock. They were very good and had a lot of flavor. For my main, I went with the Lobster roll and fries. The lobster roll was also very good. A good amount of lobster meat and the bread was very soft and held the meat well. Only complaint was the fries. They were bland and cooked unevenly. Will skip those next time but otherwise a great meal.

A table of 4 sat a few minutes before we did and a table of 6 sat probably 10 minutes after them. Our table and the table of 6 were served before the group of 4 who had to ask a bus boy for service. Yikes! Server was sweet besides the empty non alcoholic beverage glasses she did not fill when our food came out. She didn't come back to check in on us until my husband's 6 bites of dinner were already gone. I asked if the portion is usually that small (especially in comparison to the significantly cheaper - MASSIVE PORTIONS we saw being served all around us) and she politely said "yes. typically, sometimes a little bigger." As someone with a culinary arts degree & kitchen background I was very very very disappointed on the portion size of his entree for the price & sizes of surrounding entrees being served (that were cheaper or around the same price) and it literally ruined my entire experience. A smidge dramatic but the God's honest truth! Great view, beautiful patio, friendly service - just extremely disappointed. I planned to order both of us dessert and immediately skipped out & asked for the check when the server finally came over to ask how our food was. This review is hot & cold because my experience was. Would I recommend it? I'd recommend going for the best oysters in Myrtle and a clean, friendly facility - but that's about all I can say! PS - $3 "destination fee?" Clearly I'm not from around here, but it was the only restaurant from north Myrtle down to Murrells to charge us a fee for eating there as a tourist.

The horseradish sauce over the prime rib with crispy onions with a soft roll- so tender. My friend got their hamburger and it looked good too. They offer tater tots for a side! Got a kick out of the restrooms- setters or pointers. Hilarious!! Staff friendly- all that passed our table made sure we were doing good. We sat outside in the covered area and there was a perfect cooling breeze. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to enjoy their patio.

We chose the outdoor seating, and it was absolutely worth it. Overlooking the inlet, we enjoyed a peaceful view of small boats drifting by--one of those simple moments that makes a meal feel like a mini getaway. I went with the crab cake sandwich and fries, while Helen ordered the Cuban with tater tots. As someone from Virginia, I'm usually cautious with crab cakes--too often they're all filler and no flavor--but this one was refreshingly light, packed with crab, and genuinely delicious. One of the best surprises? The hush puppies. We had heard great things but didn't see them on the menu--turns out, they bring them out complimentary when you're seated. And yes, they absolutely live up to the hype. The staff added to the experience with their friendly, welcoming attitude, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. There are plenty of places we still want to try in the area, but this one has already earned a return visit.

Wicked Tuna - Yum yum roll.

We discovered Wicked Tuna during our annual Myrtle Beach trip from North Carolina, and it impressed…read moreus so much that we had to go back a second time during the same visit. The peel and eat shrimp was the reason we returned. Instead of the typical boiled flavor you find at most places, this tasted almost broiled, giving it a richer flavor that immediately stood out. It was absolutely phenomenal and easily the star of the meal. On our first visit, my boyfriend had the fish and chips and I ordered the catch of the day sandwich, both very good and well prepared. The view is beautiful, there is shaded outdoor seating, and the service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Because we enjoyed it so much, we came back again and started with the peel and eat shrimp once more. We also shared the wedge salad, which we had ordered the first time as well. It was fresh, crisp, and the blue cheese was excellent. We added the oysters Rockefeller and the tuna pizza, both packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. To finish, we ordered two sushi rolls, and once again everything was balanced and thoughtfully done. The flavors complemented each other beautifully. Every dish felt carefully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. We were extremely happy with both visits and will absolutely return next year.

MY RATING SYSTEM 4 / 5 = Exceeds expectations = NA…read more3 = Meets expectations = YES 2/1 = Does not meet expectations = NA OVERALL POINTS RATING 0 - 5 1. AMBIANCE = 3 The environment was nice. Good amount of open space. Outside deck seating. Nice bar area. 2. FOOD/DRIINKS = 2 We had clamira, wedge salad, Seafood plates. One beer IPA. The veggie selection was not appetizing in appearance. The fish selection was good but nothing special. The 2 was the result of the veggie selection looked burnt overcooked. If this had not been the case it would have been a 3. Next time I would request to have it returned and do without. Mash potatoes were good. 3. SERVICE = 5 Our waitress was attentive and engaging. The food came quickly and was a good temperature. 4. BATHROOM = 3 Clean and maintained. 5. PRICING = 2 The appetizer $16. Salad $16. Meals $42. Beer 20oz $11. Tax is 10%. Plus tip. $169 for 2 people. I would recommend to drop appetizer by $4 and wedge salad to $12. Beer how can a 20oz cost $11.00 for Sweetwater 420. With the push to get wait staff to $15 per hour. Someplace has to give and it will come in the tip area. So think of this it 10% for taxes and 20% for tip. I do not tip on full bill. Only food and beverage without taxes. That is a lift to see 30% for a couple of hour dining experience. If more alcohol from wine to mix drink it would be expensive. 6. OBSERVATION With some Does not meet expectations for food and price. The environment ok. I think at least for the team that took care of us made a difference. I would probably not choose to eat here again as there are a number of options in the area to choose from. The parking was good. Need to get your parking pass signed off by resteraunt. It is free. If not the parking value is $30.00. 7.
