From the second I walked in the door I was greeted by 2 amazing young ladies. I took a seat at the bar where I don't recall her name but she was also very attentive and came up to serve my boyfriend and I right away! Though we did not get any food and just got drinks our experience was great and we will be back! Best place on the Marshwalk to drink and hangout!

    Good food. Friendly service.

We were looking for a new to us restaurant for lunch and decided to try Creek Ratz. We have passed this many times over the years but had never stopped in. The food was really good. My wife ordered a Rueben and fries, and she enjoyed it. I ordered a blackened fish taco with tater tots. It was very good. It's a very casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside, which is a nice view and overlooks the inlet. The service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Awesome atmosphere. Would be great for day drinking. Great service. Cold beer. Food was bad. 1lb shrimp - overcooked which made them hard to peel and very mushy. Crabcake was not enough meat and bad flavor. Tater tot's were burnt. Come here to drink and have fun. Don't come here and spend money on food.

Our first time in Murrells inlet and we loved it! We chose to eat on the patio next to the water. I typically don't like to eat outside but there was plenty of shade. Nice soft music playing and a perfect breeze. The food was wonderful. I recommend the crab stuffed mushrooms and the creek rat Reuben. My husband is a chicken salad connoisseur and said the chicken salad melt was comeback worthy. Our waitress, Taylor, was so nice and very attentive. I told her it was our first time here and she told us about the area.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Creek Ratz! The view was fantastic at the outside tables. Our server Alley was great, very nice and attentive. The fried flounder and shrimp were both good, not too greasy, not too breaded. The real star was the sweet potato fries, which come with a cinnamon sugar topping. I've never had them like this, seems like it should be stated in the menu, but it was a welcome surprise. The only negatives were the regular fries (they were ok, seemed like frozen shoestring fries) and the hush puppies (very small and bland). Overall we enjoyed and would come back again!

Second time just stopped by and again great service and staff. Thank you McKenzie. For making our last day and my daughters birthday so special.

Came here on October 10th with a friend of mine who lives in Myrtle Beach and said it was a good place to eat . All the years that I have visited Myrtle Beach area , I had never been to Murrells Inlet , so it was about time . Anyway , we were seated right away and we requested outside . Our table was a little too close to the stage , but the place was busy so we didn't have much choice . The music at first wasn't that loud where we could still have a conversation , but after the singer took a break , it was louder than before , so we ended up leaving to walk the boardwalk and take pictures . We started with the Fried Pickles and I have had them before and usually not too impressed with them , but these tasted a little better than most and came with ranch . I got the Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza and she got Shrimp and Grits . I was really surprised how good the pizza was ! The sauce was spot on , the crust was a little puffy and soft , the pepperoni was tasty and I liked them better than the sausage which wasn't bad though . She really liked her Shrimp and Grits and said they are one of the more popular dishes served here . I liked the vibe of the restaurant and it was clean and the employees were very nice . Nothing beats Southern Hospitality . I get many compliments at my job in Las Vegas because of me giving great service with Southern Hospitality . It shows when you were raised that way . I would definitely recommend coming here , but get a table away from the stage .

Great location, service was very good. Food was good and reasonable. Had the raw oysters, they were big and not a lot of taste. Recommend this place if you're wanting a great view.

Our first and second visit consisted mostly of the same things: Oysters and Calamari to start, Seafood Mac & Cheese and Fish & Chips. I had the lettuce wraps, which are big, so share. And I had Crab Cakes. The wraps were good but they needed a better aioli in my opinion, because it became a sort of watery dressing instead of something sturdier. And the pico de gallo was not actually that. It was diced tomato, onion and had zero taste of lime, salt or spicy. It was fine but could have been killer. My hubby had the Clam Chowder, Pan Seared Grouper and the shrimp Po Boy. He loved the grouper, risotto and the chowder. The fish was flaky and seasoned well. The po boy needed more sauce but was really delicious. My daughter (16) needed a seafood break since she had the fish and chips the first visit and went with the Claw House Burger. She said it was seasoned and that it was indeed 1/4 lb. And Fish & Chips was the best she had had (which, she's had an incredible amount for her young age) -- not too much breading, nice crisp on the outside and juicy fish. The fries both nights were a little chewy but the flavor was there. And how can I forget. Even though on the second night we saw at least five tables start with the Crab Nachos we added a third item, Fried Clam Strips. Those were ridiculously good. I'm not a fan of tartar sauce so I ate it without and it was perfect on its own. Everything was fresh, they paid attention to detail in most individual elements and the location sent it over the top. Definitely worth a visit.

A table of 4 sat a few minutes before we did and a table of 6 sat probably 10 minutes after them. Our table and the table of 6 were served before the group of 4 who had to ask a bus boy for service. Yikes! Server was sweet besides the empty non alcoholic beverage glasses she did not fill when our food came out. She didn't come back to check in on us until my husband's 6 bites of dinner were already gone. I asked if the portion is usually that small (especially in comparison to the significantly cheaper - MASSIVE PORTIONS we saw being served all around us) and she politely said "yes. typically, sometimes a little bigger." As someone with a culinary arts degree & kitchen background I was very very very disappointed on the portion size of his entree for the price & sizes of surrounding entrees being served (that were cheaper or around the same price) and it literally ruined my entire experience. A smidge dramatic but the God's honest truth! Great view, beautiful patio, friendly service - just extremely disappointed. I planned to order both of us dessert and immediately skipped out & asked for the check when the server finally came over to ask how our food was. This review is hot & cold because my experience was. Would I recommend it? I'd recommend going for the best oysters in Myrtle and a clean, friendly facility - but that's about all I can say! PS - $3 "destination fee?" Clearly I'm not from around here, but it was the only restaurant from north Myrtle down to Murrells to charge us a fee for eating there as a tourist.

We were on the fence about where to eat and I brought up Inlet. We arrived around 5:00 on a Wednesday. There were only a handful of tables filled. We had the option of inside or outside, it was very humid, with no breeze so we opted for inside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive (1 star). We started looking at the menu and it was completely different than what was posted online (completely different appetizers, entrees, and prices-in some instances $3.00 or more expensive). We asked about a drink menu and were told to go to the website (insert eye roll). I had a rum runner and my wife had a margarita. She then ordered the scallops, and I had the 1/4 chicken with rice. Food came out quickly and was tasty (2nd star). Portions were very small with high prices. 1 small piece of chicken with some rice (no salad, hush puppies or bread) was $19.00. My wife's scallops were also expensive. Look at the picture and tell me that's a $19.00 meal. Overall, I'd never return to Inlet Prohibition Company. I needed to stop at a different place to eat two hours later because I was still hungry. I understand needing to make money but between a completely different menu online vs in-person, prices, and portions, I'm not sure how this place stays open. It certainly isn't on repeat visits.

I had the She Crab Soup followed by a nightly special, Red Drum stuffed with a crab cake. The soup was OK but I didn't actually find any crab in it and it was kinda bland. The Drum was just awful - I should have sent it back but being in a large group I didn't want to hold everyone up. The stuffed Drum was the most expensive thing on the menu. It was tough, dry and WAY overcooked. The top of the Crab cake stuffing was burnt black. I suspect the dish had been cooked a day or two ago and simply reheated. Our waitress was wonderful, fast, efficient and got everyone's order right. She even put the TV on the Atlanta Braves game for us. I would probably try this place again, but I'd just order something fried.

Let's try the good first. We arrived and we're seated immediately, but was also arrived just before 5pm, and it was already packed. Not surprised as it is the peak of the summer season. Our server was pleasant and attentive, and in my opinion, that was pretty much the extent of the " good". The "OK". - the food was just that, ok. The cobia had no real seasoning on it, if it weren't for the butter sauce, it would have had zero flavor. The fries are obviously from frozen and cooked until very crispy, almost hard. The mac and cheese sampled from my wife's plate also tasted like a mass produced, frozen deal. She said the scallops were good, and the shrimp I sampled were decent. My son enjoyed his fish and fries, but he's 6. The "bad"...since I'm using those words. It's loud, and got louder around 5:45. No surprise though, it's called a saloon and the reviews clearly say it's loud. Be prepared. Parking. I guess if you can find a spot on site, you're good, but the pay lots across the street are $20 for 2 hours...the least you can get. And again, something I failed to read, researcher whatever, but the pictures of all the 4 legged friends that have crossed the rainbow bridge that adorn the walls, it was, to me, a bit of a buzz kill. I quite frankly never realized it's concept was to honor actual dead dogs. My bad. We've been, and I honestly don't expect well go back, at least not for a while. I'll give it another shot, but in an area like this, there are always new places to try, ones that have been open for 30 years, and ones that have been open for 30 days. It's important to make a good first impression to generate return business.
