Chicken Alfredo and pepperoni and onion pizza
    Mike B.

After living in this area for 6 months now. I have been struggling to find a good pizza that is something to talk about. There are a few places that have decent pizza but Danny's is going to be my go to place. The place was clean the employees were nice and appreciating of our business. The cook came out and talked to us about their food and ingredients. My wife had the chicken Alfredo which was delicious. My son and I had a pepperoni and onion pizza. That was perfect. In my opinion. We will definitely be back.

I'm not kidding when I say this is the best pizza I've ever had. Fresh crust, just chewy enough. Excellent cheese and a robust amount of toppings. Great owners and a nice seating area. Fantastic!

Employees and service is always five stars at Danny's. I have heard some good things that the staff here does behind the scenes to help people which is really cool and unsurprising. They have some good lunch specials for slice of pizza and soda, which we have definitely taken advantage of an time or two. The pizza is not my absolute favorite, but it is very good pizza. We like to get it and take it to go and sent my the marsh to eat it and enjoy the sunset. Last visit, I decided to try the chicken parm sandwich, and it was not my favorite. Not totally sure why, but the sauce just was missing something for this time. It will definitely not deter us to coming back, but I will probably just stick to the pizza from now on, but I am more of a pizza and original guy anyway, so no biggie.

I was driving from Myrtle to Charleston and stopped for gas in this plaza when we decided to grab some lunch. I'm so glad the asian place next door wasn't open yet because we popped into Danny's instead. They were busy for lunch but we snagged a table after ordering at the counter. There was a lot to choose from but we decided on sharing a chicken parm stromboli. We asked about something in the case which was their pepperoni bites so we got an order of those as well. This food is so legit! They use the best ingredients and the flavors are all there. Surprisingly, the pepperoni bites stole the show. I almost ordered another batch to take home. I'm so glad I found this place and will absolutely make it a regular stop when I'm on that route.

Danny's makes a good pie. I haven't tried the strombolis or the cannoli but if they are as good as the pizza, it should be a slam dunk

We were skeptical after trying several Charleston-area pizzerias that market themselves as "New York style," complete with claims about special Brooklyn water pH levels and the rest of it. None of them come close. Mulberry Street's cheese pizza is the real thing, crust, char, and cheese ratio all dialed in exactly right. It's the pizza our family still talks about. The Mulberry Salad was a genuine surprise. It comes with a crispy prosciutto chip instead of the usual limp, hard to cut prosciutto you get on most salads, and it completely changes the dish. Along with the arugula, apples, goat cheese, and shaved almonds, it was easily one of the best salads we've had in a long time. But the star of the meal was the Mulberry Chicken sandwich, chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, prosciutto, roasted sweet peppers, and balsamic glaze on a 12" hero. My husband has eaten more sandwiches than most people will in a lifetime, including years in Charleston and San Francisco, both legitimate food cities. He ranks this one in his all-time top 5. That's not an exaggeration, and it's not a small claim coming from him. On top of the food, Antonio, a native New Yorker, made us feel like guests in his own home. Warm, personal, and genuinely accommodating from the moment we walked in. We were raving about the sandwich so much that my husband asked about getting one to go the next morning before we headed home, and Antonio made sure it would travel well for the drive back to Charleston. We will be making the two hour drive back to Murrells Inlet specifically for this restaurant. Not the beach, not golf. Mulberry Street is the destination. Highly, highly recommend

So many places try, but very few truly capture the essence of home. This restaurant, however, hit the mark completely--it was an absolute culinary masterpiece! I stayed in the area for eight days, and I literally ate here every single day. That is how incredible it was. Over the course of my week-long streak, I managed to try almost everything on the menu, and every single dish was cooked to absolute perfection. You can taste the genuine quality, passion, and traditional Italian flavor in every bite. On top of the phenomenal food, the service was outstanding. The staff made me feel welcome, cared for, and right at home from day one. To top it all off, the prices are exceptionally reasonable for the incredible quality you receive. If you want real, high-quality Italian food, this is the place. I would come back here in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough!

The chicken parm was good - nice sauce and thin cutlet like we liked. The alfredo was pretty flavorless, even with adding cracked pepper and the penne alla vodka wasn't super saucy and also tasted bland. Side caesar was decent but the free bread was super crumbly and went everywhere. Calamari and stuffed mushrooms were still tasty.
