Nothing bad, but nothing that really made us say wow either. My main issue was the price for the amount of food you get. The portions felt pretty small, especially considering how much the pasta dishes cost. I definitely expected a little more for the price. Overall, it was an okay experience. Glad we tried it while we were in the area, but probably not a place we would go out of our way to visit again.

New York City is in Myrtle Beach! This is hands down the best pizza I've had outside of NY and NJ…read more In fact, it's better than most places in NY and NJ. This is real NYC pizza and calzones in South Carolina. The owner hails from Astoria, Queens and has an original location still operating there. The prices published on this restaurant's own website are apparently nowhere near the prices they…read moreare actually charging. When I brought up the discrepancy and asked about honoring the prices advertised on their own website, the response I received was simply, "Do you want to order or not?" That is an unacceptable way to handle a legitimate customer concern. Customers should be able to rely on pricing that a business chooses to publish on its official website. If those prices are outdated, update the website. Until then, management should take responsibility for the information it is advertising rather than dismissing customers who question it. I have submitted a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding the advertised pricing and the discrepancy I encountered. Regardless of how that complaint is ultimately handled, this restaurant needs to correct its online menu immediately and address how customers are treated when they raise reasonable concerns about advertised prices.

My husband is a huge pizza connoisseur (he even makes his own), so finding a solid spot was a must. We ordered a medium white pie, a medium BBQ chicken, and a small cheese for our son. The sizes were great compared to other pizza places. The white pie was delicious! Personally, I think it could have used just a touch more garlic, but overall it was really good. The BBQ chicken was a pleasant surprise--my husband isn't usually a fan, but he really enjoyed it. The onions were sliced perfectly, the toppings were spread evenly, and the BBQ sauce wasn't overpowering. Even my very picky son ate three slices of the cheese pizza, which says a lot. The dough was excellent--not too thin or too thick. The crust was airy, flavorful, and had a nice chew without being bland like many other places. There was very little flop on the white pie, which I loved. Ordering through the Slice app was super convenient, and the restaurant itself was easy to find. When I walked in to pick up, I was greeted immediately, and our pizzas were ready right on time. Highly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

I looked at the receipt and noticed there was a $3.00 tip on there. I asked him why he tipped them when it was a pick up order. He said he didn't. Called them and they were rude, said he authorized it, didn't care that he reiterated that he was never asked if he wanted to leave a tip, etc. it's bad enough that they charge you their processing fee when you use a debit or credit card but now they arbitrarily sneak a tip on take-out and then act like he knew about it. So we will never go there again - will NOT recommend it. Too bad they lost a good customer over $3.00. I'm responding to the business owner comment below. Perhaps you should not argue this point...as he tried to explain that he was not aware of your process. A good business would perhaps apologize for the situation...maybe this has happened with other customers. You know, customers who patronize your business. You were wrong and handled it poorly. Your loss.
