Visited during restaurant week for lunch. The service was lacking for a restaurant of this caliber. They were not busy at all but our server seemed preoccupied on her phone. The salmon was overcooked and dry but at least the salad was good. By the time the server came back my husband was already finished with his food and I didn't want to wait for another dish so we just paid and left.

Grabbed a same-day reservation for a Saturday night after snagging last-minute tickets to a Carnegie hall show. While I actually didn't love the steak, everything else was amazing: + Bourbon steak martini + petite romaine Caesar + 14 oz NY strip + creamed spinach pop tart + Michael Mina's banana tarte tatin Martini, Caesar and spinach pop tart were all perfect. Also really liked the dessert. Complimentary fries trio in place of bread service was a nice touch (though they do charge for refills). Unfortunately, the steak was wayyyy too smoky - not good! Would try the tuna tartare next time. 4.5 stars.

Bourbon steak house is an amazing restaurant that has some of the best food in Manhattan. The Caesar salad was delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops, tomahawk steak, and the old fashion cocktail was amazing a bit pricey $$. Our waiter Dino was very good and knowledgeable about the menu and what to ordered. The ambiance is very romantic and classy definitely a must see to appreciate it. There's plenty of parking in the street and also parking lots. If you're looking to make a date night a memorable one definitely try this place out.

This steak house is attached to a hotel right by Central Park. The inside is gorgeous, clean, sophisticated. I am not a steak person so I ordered the sea bass which was hardy, light and full of flavor. You have different options of bourbon which won't disappoint if you are into old fashions. For dessert get the banana tart, it has a citrus caramel that is to die for!! Our sever was also excellent too.

We had such a wonderful experience thanks to the amazing staff! Jenny and Mark were incredibly accommodating, super friendly, and attentive throughout our entire visit. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and their positive energy really made a difference. Beatrice, the hostess, was also absolutely fantastic. She greeted us so warmly and helped set the tone for a truly special experience. Her kindness & energy made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. On top of the exceptional service, the food was absolutely spectacular. Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. Overall, the experience was outstanding, and it's clear this team genuinely cares about their guests. We'll definitely be coming back!

A fantastic dinner experience. The entire staff was excellent. Friendly hostesses to start, all table servers were on point. I feel like fine dining lately has been hit or miss in that category. The ambiance has a good vibe; you can hear the music but still have table conversation without yelling at each other. Everything we ordered tasted great. Steak was cooked as ordered, bacon wrapped scallops were yummy, and the wedge salad was soo good. I love that they serve a trio of French fries/sauces instead of bread. (The brioche bread on the menu sounded good but didn't get to try it). Would definitely come back and visit other locations.

Craving steak, I stopped by the nearest steakhouse to my hotel, conveniently located right across from Central Park. From the bar, there's a great view of the park, although since I visited late in the evening, the view wasn't much of a highlight. The hosts were welcoming, and I was seated promptly. They offer a solid selection of bourbon cocktails, but I went with a classic Old Fashioned. For my meal, I ordered the Wagyu ribeye with half a lobster and a side of fries. The fries were excellent, and the lobster was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The ribeye, however, was just okay. It tasted more like a regular ribeye than a true Wagyu cut. While it had a nice char and was cooked medium, it didn't have that signature melt-in-your-mouth tenderness I've come to expect from Wagyu. Overall, the restaurant was good, but the steak didn't quite meet expectations. I'd still recommend it, just maybe try a different cut next time.

Absolutely loved this place! What a great find. Amazing service and amazing food. The standouts were the lobster pasta and the ribeye. And the complimentary fries to start. The Caesar salad was also quite good. My husband enjoyed the bacon wrapped scallop with foie gras foam. I'd skip the crab claws. The banana dessert was good and fun to try but would try something else next time. Highly recommend!

You like a New York steakhouse but with flair? If you do, this place is for you. There are so many steakhouses in New York which are solid, but this one puts some flair into the category and elevates to a different level. This is a steakhouse by Michael Mina...and if you have ever eaten at Aquas in Sam Francisco, then you know he is bringing it. Mina soars here. Steaks are awesome as usual but so are the seafood dishes. Rib Cap, filet and sea bream all great...but the truffle mac and cheese and crème brûlée cheesecake (I know it's cheese cake but trust me on this one) are amazing. So are the beignets with dipping sauces and I am not a desert guy so you know these are great. Ambience is upscale New York steak house with views of Central Park. Service is on point and great as well. Don't miss this steak house, it's really one of a kind in New York with some West Coast flair.

Amazing food and amazing service!! Make sure you ask for Jenny!! The seafood was bomb .com I finished getting my sleep study with Calibrate who does at home sleep studies. James and Frank from Calibrate Diagnostics came to my home and provided concierge at home sleep testing. Thankfully I was not suffering from sleep apnea which is why we came to celebrate at Bourbon Steak! Anywhoooo great steak.

The best anniversary dinner ever:) beyond ecstatic I chose to celebrate my 1 year here with my boyfriend. Upon entering bourbon steak, the atmosphere and vibe were great. Our server Aldo, made the night worth remembering with all his interactions. He took his time to check in with us on every course. Each course was absolutely amazing!! Loved how perfectly cooked the scallops were as well as the medium rare steak. Aldo even surprised us with a little anniversary ice cream cone + candle at the end of our dinner. For our first time in New York, we would definitely come back here.

Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. They gave out a complimentary nut mix that was also delicious. Service was swift and gracious. If you're looking for a spot to impress a date, this is it.

The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. A bar seat eventually opened up but I was already on my second drink by then. Definitely make reservations if you're planning a visit!

The bar seating was plentiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to stand behind the bar or a high top tables enjoying happy hour after work. If you go at 4:30 or 5, it's a bit calmer as the after work crowd trickles in. And as the evening went on, it started to get more and more packed, and it became a really lively vibe. After my friend left for another function, I stuck around a little bit longer for a little solo dinner. I had a glass of Prosecco off the happy hour menu followed by a dirty martini, and I did request to look at their full dinner menu because there was a couple items that I wanted to try. I wanted to try the duck Ragu and halloumi cheese, both of which were absolutely fantastic. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled and flavorful, and the duck Ragu was very comforting. I highly recommend both dishes. I ended up chatting with a woman sitting next to me who happened to work with select apertivo, and next thing I know one of the bartenders handed me a lovely bright cocktail to try on the house. It was a refreshing bubbly Barlume spritz that I'll definitely have to get again next time. Overall, I had a really great time at Barlume. The service was excellent from the servers and the bartenders, and they were all very attentive, personable and friendly throughout the evening. Shoutout to Chris who not only tended bar but worked the floor and to the lovely hostess whose name I wish I had gotten. But really the whole staff was just A+++. We shared the crispy artichokes (outstanding) and the cacio e Pepe arancini (where the fried parsley was especially unique and delicious) to start. The server was inattentive and took a while to take our orders. We had to ask her for water three times, searching for her across the room in an attempt to catch her attention. She was a bit absent during the two-ish hours we were there. On the bright side, the drinks were fairly good. I ordered this strawberry vodka cocktail topped with whole mint. I'm wary of vodka for its harsh, unpleasant taste, but I found this drink to actually be very pleasant, tasing like a fruit smoothie you'd get from a local juicer. There was also a burgundy drink served on a wine glass that tasted like the holidays. I liked that one quite a bit. Overall, Oscar Wilde was an okay experience.
