We just went to the Bouquet restaurant for a birthday brunch with out of town friends. The restaurant is very pretty and mostly outdoors with fountains, views of the views. The waiter, Chris, was very nice and attentive. The food however was not good. Our muffins were brought to the table with hair on them. Everyone had overcooked eggs in the omelets as well as the eggs benedict...basically hard boiled. They didn't seemed short staffed but everything was very slow. I think there are better restaurant options in wine country. read more

We made reservations two weeks prior to our dining experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by guest services promptly, all was going smoothly as expected by Bouquet since we've dined here at dinner over the years several times . This was over first time having their brunch menu. Once at the table things started a go awry. We waited 25 mins. Before we were greeted by our server and were poured water and ordered drinks, they were refreshing. Our food was also flavorful. After the latest were dropped that was the end of our being served by waitstaff. Had to ask for water refills, condiments by food runners passing by ect. When we had been finished for at least 25 minutes and waiting for the bill we asked another server to kindly get our server , she informed us she was on break and gave us the bill . We asked to speak with the manager who came to our table and we voiced our displeasure in service she i formed us we caught them on an off day. That was it ? Off day really?? She also left our table without removing any plates or having a busser clear any plates . The ambiance is beautiful, the food is fresh but the management and wait staff could benefit from customer service training considering they are a fine dining restaurant and a sub par diner. read more

Great place for breakfast and brunches on beautiful days. Very nice scenery outside and it really adds to the atmosphere of the place. The service was great. Waiters were very kind and courteous. Also, the food was very well prepared and tasted wonderful. We split the avocado toast, as one serving is enough for two people. For our meals, I had the French toast and my wife had the fried chicken and biscuit meal that came with choice of egg. I would recommend eating outside as to get a glimpse of the beautiful fountains they have and to enjoy the scenery. read more

Went to this Ponte restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner after reading great food reviews. It was tough to get a reservation. Don't know why because there were many tables available. We were so looking forward to a great meal. Unfortunately the turkey was not fresh turkey slices. It tasted so salty and cut in perfect rounds like deli meat. It was also pink colored. Awful. The stuffing was SO dry. I couldn't eat either. The desert tart was dry as well. Waste of money and left hungry. read more

My wife and I are staying at Ponte for our anniversary. We have stayed here several times before and we really enjoy the property. This morning we went to Bouquet for breakfast. Including our table, there were three tables in use. After being seated, it took 10 minutes for the hostess to bring us waters. She let us know that our server would be right with us. Our server walked by us several times without so much as making eye contact. Ten minutes passed until she eventually took our order. We ordered brewed coffee and our breakfast (short rib hash and bacon and eggs). We sat for another 25 minutes (at this point there were now only 2 tables in use) without our coffee. My wife decided to take measures into her own hands and tracked down our waitress to ask about our coffee. The waitress promptly told the hostess to bring us our coffee. She brought over a pot and dropped it off. The pot filled my wife's cup and about half of mine. We needed to wait for someone to come back to ask for cream. Our food arrived right after the coffee. Upon bringing out our food, the waitress did bring out another pot. The food was good, as it usually is. We needed to ask for salt and pepper and jelly for our toast. My wife did need to track the waitress down again to get a knife for her jelly. Communication goes a long way in the service business. A simple "I'll be right with you", or a "I'm sorry I forgot about your coffee" would have greatly dissipated our frustration. Tomorrow we will walk to South Coast for breakfast. read more

Met some friends who were staying at Ponte Vineyard Inn for breakfast on a Monday morning, so it was pretty quiet. Service started out well, being welcomed with water and drink orders. After placing our meal orders, it went downhill fast. Food came out in an average amount of time. One guest ordered a salmon bagel, which came out without salmon. We waited for our server Chris to come back to check on us and let him know about the mistake, but he never returned. My friend just ate the bagel. My eggs Benedict was overcooked (the beauty of a Benedict is those runny eggs mixing with the hollandaise sauce). Hash browns tasted like the oil was old. Third person orders eggs over medium, and they were also overcooked with a perfume note to them. Chris finally came back to check on us AFTER everyone had finished eating their entire meal. He did take the salmon bagel off the bill, but still a very disappointing experience. Won't be going back. read more

The ambiance was gorgeous, and most of the tables were outdoors but covered/shaded. Service was a bit slow at the beginning. But the food was good, the drinks were good, and it wasn't bad value for the money. For 4 people, we got an appetizer to share, 6 drinks, and 4 entrees for lunch and it was ~$200. Three of us had the Turkey club and they were so good! The burger was also good. I liked the red & white wine flight that I tried. Easily one of the worst dining experiences I've ever experienced. We came here on a Friday evening at 7:30 for a romantic dinner for my fiancé's Birthday. We've visited Ponte many times before and have always enjoyed it so decided to return and try Bouquet. The restaurant has a nice outdoor setting, which around sunset is just beautiful. This is where the good part ends. When we arrived, there was a singer performing 90's rock songs incredibly loud. His cut off plaid shirt and grunge rock certainly stuck out like a sore thumb. Not exactly the music to match the nice setting..but ok, we'll deal with it. Slowly, we realize that almost every table around us is completely wasted. The tables are trashed, napkins on the floor, stacks of plates and the guests can barely keep their eyes open. Several groups were so visibly drunk they had trouble walking - another couple was loudly arguing to the point we wondered if domestic violence was involved. At this point, you can imagine all romance in the air was dead. We simply couldn't believe how such a nice establishment could be so trashy. Well no problem - we'll make our own vibe! At least the food will make up for it we thought...Nope, this was some of the worst, most overpriced food I've ever tasted. Coming from San Diego, spending $50+ on a plate is not a problem for us - but at that price point, we're expecting quality. The calamari was overfried and so spicey it was nearly inedible. They sold us a ribeye steak that was clearly a filet. Not an ounce of fat. Ordered medium rare - it came out blue. When we asked, the waiter claimed it was a "center cut ribeye" Really!? Had this been the case - they would have sold as it such. It was clear the chef was lying to sell filets...this is just downright pathetic. I ordered the scallops which were not only tiny but served with essentially a fried rice. at $45 a plate, this was just insulting in quality and taste. It was inedible. We were so disappointed in the food and experience, we left before even singing him Happy Birthday. We couldn't wait to get out of this terrible restaurant. This restaurant is a true scam. The chef and manager should be absolutely embarrassed by the experience they are providing here. I'd like to mention we returned the following day to the lunch restaurant and for tastings. The food and wine were delicious and the service was great. Message - avoid Bouquet at all costs. Stick with their restaurant and save yourselves $$$ and an adventure you don't want to have. read more

I'm being generous with two stars. This restaurant was recommended by our AirBnB host so we made a reservation for brunch. From the look of the building and the recommendation we were hopeful. Once we sat down things fell apart. We waited nearly 20 minutes for a waiter to come by. They brought by two little muffins which were delicious -- this was the highlight of the meal and the driver of the second star. We ordered short rib hash, fruit bruschetta, and the stuffed French toast. I participated in the tasting of the short rib hash and the stuffed French toast, neither of which we finished. Why didn't we finish them? The items were downright bad. The egg for the hash was clearly overcooked, as was the short rib, and it wasn't a hash. Look at the picture -- it was overcooked flavorless short rib on a bed of tasteless accoutrements. Yes, I skipped the Hollandaise, but I'm sure glad I did, based on the other ingredients I'm sure it would have been horrid. The French toast bites --/ those were just as bad. They had a level of cinnamon one might remember from their 2012 participation in the cinnamon challenge. The French toast was also overcooked to pure soggy mush and was far too sweet. Combine those two horrible dishes with poor service (we saw our server four total times - of which only three times he visited our table --- in a 75 minute time frame and Bouquet is a place to be avoided. read more

Perfect combination of perfect ingredients, plus the bites of creamy burrata were an added bonus. The Short Rib Sandwich was on the drier side. Then again, the short rib tasted pretty good, and it was nothing a little garlic mayo can't fix. You may or may not agree with my assessment of the food, but you can't argue with outdoor dining an a view. I didn't have anyone to stare at, but believe me, the vineyards that seemed to stretch to the ends of the earth were more than enough to keep me occupied. read more

We stayed at Ponte for a nice weekend away. We ate once at this restaurant and the food ok. The service however is not focused on proving a great customer experience. The hotel management needs to review their policies to provide a great experience. The staff were rude "trying to follow their procedures"! We all know COVID has changed our lives. But large establishments don't need to use this as an excuse to provide crappy service to their customers who are paying high rates to stay in their resorts! read more

We can and will do a good job of keeping a team of people on there feet. This crew has done a good job.... There are things they might not have been prepared for and maybe been overwhelmed but all together did a great job! Tessa in the lounge got to deal with the late night version of us and is amazing!!! We came here on Sunday after our hot air balloon ride adventure. Everything in Temecula pretty much opens at 11am and we did our hot air balloon ride at sunrise. I'm really glad this was open because it was right next door to where we parked at the South Coast Winery. It's in the lobby of the Ponte Vineyard Inn and it's a really quaint and cute place. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has a view of their garden courtyard and fountains. We sat inside because we were a bit cold from our excursion. Service was really great. Everyone was so nice. They gave us little fruit muffins to start. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with beef and the cheddar chive biscuit. The biscuit was really good with butter. I didn't eat it with the lemon curd it came with though. The Eggs Benedict was good as well. The beef was pulled beef. The potatoes were cooked well. read more

This place was one of the restaurants at Ponte Vineyard Inn and since we were staying there, we wanted to try it out. We went for Sunday brunch. It's a cute little restaurant. Not at all crowded when we went, so it was nice and quiet. Beautiful with sun shining through the window. They also have tables outside if you want to enjoy your meal outside. They provide you baskets to place your purse in so you don't have to put it on the floor too. Ordered the Beef + Eggs Benedict, smoked salmon carpaccio, and their waffle to satisfy our sweet tooth. The waffle was nothing exciting. Just a plain waffle with some fruit. The waffle was pretty dry so I could've gone without that. The smoked salmon carpaccio was pretty good, but they give you a big plate of it. We ordered it with the intention of it being a started for us, when it clearly was meant to be its own entree. Our favorite however was the beef + eggs benedict. Pretty much eggs benedict with brisket, and although it might be an odd combination, it was ridiculously amazing. Bouquet Restaurant is a nice little place that is worth trying if you're staying at the hotel. Doesn't hurt that staff are very friendly. They don't have a huge menu, but hey, they've got good food and that's all that matters really. read more

We come here almost every Sat/Sun for breakfast because we're members and it's close to home. However, they can really use IMPROVEMENT in the food quality. Eggs are always overdone or nearly burnt. Bagels/toast are ALWAYS burnt they're bitter. It was impossible to enjoy the smoked salmon with the burnt bagel. It just killed the whole experience. When I say 'always' I mean every single time, every visit. We always send them back. We'll give it a few more tries and hope management trains their cooks, soon, or they'll lose our loyalty. read more

We love the eggs Benedict with potatoes & always get a side salad. The chefs Sergio, Sarah & Christina are magnificent. You can tell they pour their love & attention to ever detail of your meal. You can really feel the love & just eating their food makes you happy. Andrea, the manager, is so personable & has such a remarkable team. One star for being a cute little inn but the Bouquet Restaurant needs work. We had 7 people in our party and it took an hour and 45 min for our food to come out. Brunch menu wasn't too impressive and It also took them awhile to bring out our wine list after seating us. What's good? Their calamari and cheese plate. I ended up ordering their pork hash. Bad mistake because there was sooooo much oil at the bottom of the bowl. I couldn't eat it at all. Their steak and eggs were over seasoned with salt. Pasta sauce was too salty as well according to my friend. We were disappointed for the price we paid. We should have stuck with burgers and fries that everyone else was ordering in the restaurant. I ate at The Restaurant At Ponte before and loved so I decided to give Bouquet a try for Sunday Brunch. It's on the hotel side of the Ponte Vineyard. There is plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating options, and great food and service! We sat outside and our server, James, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. They start you off with a tasty muffin! I had the short rib hash and it was amazing! My husband and I have been coming to Bouquet for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries for several years. We have eaten inside by the fireplace in cold months and outside on the patio in the summer. The hotel is a beautiful property and the restaurant has great ambience. We have, however, been disappointed in the quality of the food the last two times we've visited. We remember wonderful meals here in years past, but the quality has definitely declined, while the prices have risen dramatically. Tonight my husband ordered the sea bass, and though it was cooked well, the tiny piece of fish was overwhelmed by the heavily salted risotto accompaniment. And it was a $60 dish! My stuffed chicken leg was also too salty, and the tiny plate it was served on was a poor choice. Made it difficult to cut bites without making a mess. The beet salad was delicious, and the wine was good, but the mains were really disappointing. We had no problem with the service; the staff is always good there, though sometimes seem a little inexperienced. We are just disappointed that a restaurant that used to be so good, in such a lovely setting, has really declined. It was also surprising that on a summer Saturday night, the place was less than half full. There is so much potential here, but also a lot of competition in the Temecula restaurant scene. I would hope that they could up their game to return to the wonderful menu they served when we first started coming here. read more
