My go-to neighbourhood coffee place. great coffee friendly staff, relaxed space. good for lunch or a quick coffee.

I was in the area on a weekday. The locals recommended this nearby heritage cafe for a quick lunch. When you walk in, you are inside a heritage home built in 1873 and restored in 2007. Pretty cool to appreciate the decor. - Turkey Bacon Panini The panini was softly toasted and warm. Turkey and bacon go well together. It's a nice change from the usual BLT, which is also on their menu. Besides paninis, they also have bagels, wraps, sandwiches and bakeries. They serve a variety of fresh, organic and fair trade coffee, roasted every week locally from North Vancouver. They are also licensed for alcoholic beverages. This is a local gem which you don't find it often. read more

Quaint, soothing atmosphere. The coffee was fine and the scone was very good. I'd definitely go back. Only constructive criticism is that neither the facebook page nor the website are up and maintained so I wasn't sure that the shop was still open and running. I called the phoneline and it went to an answering machine so I spent over an hour on the bus to meetup with a friend literally hoping that it was still a running business and that I wouldn't end up standing in the rain. Communicating with their customers should be a higher priority. read more

Its isn't a fancy restaurant but a restored heritage home built in 1873 . The living room with a fireplace and foyer of the house gives it very spacious appearance. It has a basement too and its rented to a music school. They haVe specials like daily soup n lunch sandwich. Our bad that day the soup of the day was finished. Replacement of regular milk with soy, almond or coconut is an option available for all drinks. They have speacial like white chocolate almond mocha. There is whole stock of mighty lef steep teas. The place believes in saving the planet so they have an options to get drinks in ur own cups. There is reedespresso stuff to purchase. Fresh baked cookies and other baked items are available too. House made sandwiches were good too. I had apple chicken sandwich and my buddy got vegetarian grilled sandwich. The owner is quite friendly and accommodating but because they are low on staff so service takes little time. read more

One of my favourite cafés in Surrey for studying. Charming and quaint building with lots of seating (socially distanced). Store hours are nice too, staying open later than most. Lots of options for food and drink. Coffee shops are struggling, make sure you support while staying here awhile. read more

This is a quaint little coffee shop and sandwich cafe set inside a cool old house. We stopped by for a glass of wine and some sandwiches on a chilly fall evening. I had a chicken panini sandwich, which was good but a little heavy on the bread. I also ordered a glass of red wine, which had been chilled - very unpleasant to drink cold red wine. The service was friendly, prices a little high, but a nice comfortable setting and the coffee smelled great! read more

all wired monks are not created equal and to me this one stands as (one of) their best - if only for character. Good coffee and more (and licensed) from the counter. Lots of comfortable seating in separated rooms, to allow for private conversations. In a lovely character home (Boothroyd?) on the corner of 168 & 60th (which is just north of Cloverdale Farms on hwy 10 and just south of the sports fields/playground at 64th). Parking at the building is limited (~8?) but there is more parking across 168 (which is usually quiet) read more

Met a friend for coffee and my usual spot was jammed with baby strollers and screaming kids ... YIKES!. Made the drive down to this Wired Monk (168th and 60th) and found it to be an Oasis of calm.... YES!!! The breakfast bagel was excellent (I will be back for another one!), latte was perfect and my friend and I could actually converse without a screaming kid standing at our table wiping something sticky on my jacket. If you have kids and are reading this... I beg you, leave them tied up in the car...LOL!! Enjoy! read more

This quaint little building is right around the corner from my house so on nice days I often take my pup for a walk down to Wired Monk.They have a very nice patio set up where dogs are welcome to sit (water dish provided too!) after placing your order the barista's are happy to bring out your drink/food so I don't have to leave my dog for very long. The wait time for some beverages and food is a little lengthy at times but it is often worth the wait. Prices are a little steep too but the vanilla chai frapp keeps luring me in for more. read more

Yes, the coffee shop on the corner. What a great location! It's full of cute old house charm with excellent, fast service. I love that his location is a heritage home! I visit this coffee shop two nights a week while my kids head down to the bottom floor for their music lessons. Its perfect. As a busy mom of three kids, this gives me the perfect opportunity to savor a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy some mom-time. There are arm chairs and couch or cute little table sets sprinkled throughout the room, so there is always a spot for me to sit back and relax! As I mentioned the service is quick and excellent, the barista's are friendly. They are quick to clean up after guests have left their tables. Clean location! It's a great neighborhood coffee shop that feels like home. read more

Cute little place in cloverdale. It's hard not to listen to others conversations if you sit in one of the side rooms. Not a lot of plugs if you're planning to work on your computer. read more

this place is great. friendly staff (although, the summer staff really made this place). decent food, and not too expensive. Nice place to read the paper on the weekend, and the decor is unparalleled to any other Wired Monk I've ever been to. It's a Heritage home which gives it a ton of soul, a Music school in the basement, and I think someone lives upstairs! Brilliant! read more

I'm not typically a fan of the wired monk but this one has a certain charm to it and the staff are all very warm and welcoming. My only complaint was that the last time I was there QMFM was playing but hopefully it was a one time occurance. Otherwise I love going there! read more

Great spot to meet a friend for coffee. Has to be the most unique location in the lower mainland. Coffee is always good. Owner sets the tone and is super friendly and helpful as are the staff. Great garden patios and decks in a heritage site house. Love it! read more
