Went to store they did not have the size of boot I wanted but was told we could order online. I went home and ordered boots the next day online and was pumped....but about 15 mins later I received an email stating that they didn't have the boots I wanted in stock. After waiting several more days I decided to try to order the boots again as I really needed them for work. Got them in cart and tried to pay which after 20 mins of fighting it went through. (should've been a red flag there) Again I was stoked and received a confirmation number. Later that day I received another confirmation and tracking number saying that the boots had shipped. (free 2 day shipping on purchase of 75.00) WELL that was over a week ago UPS had never received the boots to be shipped AND after 3 emails and 2 phone calls... which by the way both sitting on hold for over an hour! I finally learned that its going to take 7-10 more days to find out what happened and where my boots are. NOT to mention in the mean time I'm out $132.00 and still wearing some worn out work boots. THANKS BOOT BARN!!!! I have SEVERAL friends and family that shop or wanna shop at this store and will NOT BE RCOMMENDING them to do so! WORSE STORE EVER!! read more

I've never been to a boot store, so I don't have anything to compare this against. However, this is the most number of boots and cowboy hats I have ever seen in one place before. Almost all the boots (cowboy boots) were in the $100-$160 range, but I was able to pick up a pair of work boots that was on sale for about $90. Staff is friendly if you ask for help. read more

I've shopped at bootbarn.com before, and a few months ago I thought I'd give the store in Fairfield a shot. My first experience was actually not bad. They have a pretty good selection of boots, and the people working seemed friendly enough. Today's visit really left me not wanting to come back... My mom and I were looking for some boots to give as a gift. We found a pair we liked, and asked a young lady for a box. Donna, was very friendly in explaining that she could give us a box, but it wouldn't necessarily be the box that went with the boots. (Being that we had shopped at the store once before we already knew that.) I let her know that wasn't a problem, and she let us know she would leave them in the front waiting for us when we were ready to check out. My mom and I browsed around for a bit, but only picked up a wallet, and went to check out. This is when my experience went downhill... There was one lady at the register, Francis, who was working on some paperwork. We waited for her to finish, and let her know we were ready to check out. She looked very annoyed at the fact that she had to ring us up. We asked if she could please give us a gift receipt, and she nodded. As she was ringing us up, I started to tell me mom that he box they had given us wasn't necessarily the box of the boots. To this, Francis very rudely interrupted and said "we don't have the original box for these boots". I let her know that I was aware of this, and again she looked annoyed. A few other customers lined up, as they were ready to check out as well. I heard Francis tell one of the young ladies, that she needed to ring the customers up because she needed to finish the layaway paperwork. The young lady let her know she would be right back because she was helping a customer get the right size boots. Francis apparently didn't like this answer, because she shook her head and let out a big sigh of disbelief. She gave us our receipt, but realized she hadn't given us our gift receipt we had asked for. She printed our gift receipt and handed it to us. Because I didn't want to loose the gift receipt, I opened the box and put it in the box. While I was still at the register and struggling to close the box, Francis called up the next customer and attempted to ring her up. After realizing that I was struggling, and apparently holding back the line, she attempted to take the box away from me to close it. (By then I had already figured it out.) My mom and I left the store feeling like we had been an inconvenience to Francis. We came to the store because it's a 20 minute drive from our house, but after this experience I will probably stick to the online option to avoid the rudeness of employees like Francis. read more

HORRIBLE!!! When I order from you all at the BEGINNING of the week it stated that if I order within a certain time frame my order would ship THAT DAY!!! When checking out I opted for the 3-4 day shipping. If I had known otherwise I would have paid for shipping. That clearly was not the case. The label was created the day I purchased on 2/9 but my order sat for FOUR..FOUR days!!! I had contacted service via chat- well because that's the only way I could get anyone on the phone. They were less than helpful and never go back with me. I finally got a person on the phone this afternoon and she proceeds to tell me that there is an investigation that could take up to 10 days. That's garbage. I work in customer service and own a business. When I say you all are lacking in the department that is putting in nicely. At this point, I am livid. If I had known it would be this way I would have just bought from my local store( lesson learned- now they are sold out). But instead my husband bought my boots and kids boots from you all around Christmas and raved about how great you all were and the shipping was fast!!! These were suppose to be a gift from my girls to their dad for Valentine's Day. Mind you when I ordered and all the shipping guidelines you all gave they would be here in plenty of time. I have had a good experience at this Boot Barn in the past. This time around it was a little disappointing to say the least. The beginning of my visit was fairly pleasant. The sales associate helping me out was very knowledgeable. She then gave me advice on boot wear. I gathered a couple more items and proceeded to the register. The associate at the register had a difficult time doing her job. Asked for my phone number for reward points then did not apply them to my account. At that point she voided my order and charged everything again. I was left with two pending transactions (even though one was voided). It has been three days since that day and one pending charge is still reflected on my bank account. After this less than favorable experience I have decided to find a different Boot Barn. read more

Stereotyping at its best. First of all, I like shopping at Boot Barn. I received great service at other locations. But this one must have had a bad experience with minorities because I was followed like a prey. No one bothered to see if I needed help. 4 employees stood nearby as I browsed and they even stood by the front door as my cousin purchased over $700 in boots. It still bothered me 24 hours later so I'm writing this post to warn others of their lack of customer service. I purchased a jacket and a cowboy hat totaling $270 dollar. When I got on home I went online to bootbarn.com and saw they had a promotion for 15% off for thankgiving going on. So I printed it out and took it into the store to the grumpy old man manager to ask them to honor the price difference. He tried to enter the coupon on his computer 3 x's and could not get it to work. He basially called me a lier in so many words when I told him I entered a sale online and got it to take the addtional money off. He said the items are already on sale and that's the 15% discount. I have purchased alot of items from this store even though they are overpriced because of the selection but now they have lost a good customer for life. I have a hat that I bought somewhere else. Well after wearing it for a few weeks I decided that the brim was to wide for my pin head(HaHa). So I got to thinkin that I could trim it myself. When I got the scissors out ,my wife gave me one of those funny looks ,as if she was goin to be sick to her stomach or something like it. So ,I got on the internet to look for a "hat trimmer"...(so's I could do it my self,don't ya know?) But they cost $50 or $60 BUCKS. So I called the place where I bought the hat and they didn't even answer the phone!!! Well I'd heard about Boot Barn on the radio,and got their number off the internet. And when I called ,the lady was real nice ,and said that hat trimming AND shaping ,AND cleaning was FREE!!!!! So I headed up there lickedy split! Now the place was sort of hard to find (for me) ,but then again I'm not exactly no "pathfinder".I got lost goin back home too. Well when I Finally found the place,the people inside were friendly ,and hospitable,and made me feel right at home!! I told them that I needed my hat brim trimmed ,and the did it FOR FREE!!! I looked around for a little while ,and let me tell you (boy howdy) THEY GOT some BOOTS!! They've got a few shirts and hats for sure, but I don't think I've EVER seen so many boots! This review has nothing to do with the quality of the boots or clothing because I haven't received my order yet. I ordered Carhartt Men's Full Swing Relaxed Fit Dungaree Jeans on Dec 4 2019 the order posted Dec 5th. I received the UPS tracking number a day or so later. As far as I could tell the jeans came from the mid-west to be delivered to Las Vegas. The delivery date of Thursday Dec 12 came and went. The jeans were stuck in Salt Lake City Utah for 4 or 5 days. When the jeans were finally delivered they were delivered to some place else in Las Vegas. UPS would not say the address and the Boot Barn would not say either. In any case both were aware the jeans were misdelivered. Both UPS and Boot Barn said they had to do an investigation before replacing the jeans or returning my money that was charged to my Amex card. Well It's now Dec 26th and I am on a maddening hold trying to call Boot Barn Customer service. The Customer Service opens at 10AM Central, I called at 10AM it is now 10:17 CST and the recording about high call volume really grates on your nerves. This has been the case three times now when trying to talk with customer service. Customer service admitted that their website is having problems when I told them I could not track my order on their website. This was back on or about Dec 10th. I will never buy anything from the web store again. Now it's 10:22 AM while I type this review. Now I will contact American Express. read more

I wish I could rank it lower. First of all the prices are high you can get better prices online or at other locations including other Boot Barns. The service is a joke. I picked a shirt off of the sale rack 15% off and went to buy it. The clerk said it wouldn't ring up so she got the manager to help. The manager said its not on sale so I can pay the full price if I want it. I showed her that the rack had a dozen of the same shirt on it. She said they got put on the wrong rack. I said that's not my problem you need to honor the sign. She said if you want the shirt it's full price she can't and won't give me the sale price. Then she grabbed the shirts and moved them. So for 12 dollars she lost a customer. I also was going to get a 500 dollar pair of boots. I went to Vacaville to the Western store there and got the same boot brand and everything for 67 dollars cheaper and the staff was very helpful. read more

The selection here is not that great. Sadly, it's the only place I know of that sells western style boots in the area. I've gone in a few times only to leave empty handed. A lot of the boots on the shelves appear to have been used: the bottoms are scuffed, the toes of the boots are nicked, dinged and torn, the vamps are worn to the point your feet do not slip through. There's no way it's just from people trying them on. Something is going on here. I go in occasionally hoping that it has changed but to no avail. Same ol' sh*t. read more
