My husband and I initially going to order from our usual flower boutique; however, we wanted to give Flower Basket a try since they were in the same city as the celebration of life service. Since I have a hectic schedule, I was able to order the flowers I wanted (standing spray and a bouquet of flowers) through their website. It was very easy and hassle-free. The owner did contact me to ask for clarification for my order and just to confirm the drop-off location on the day of the ceremony. On the day of the celebration of life service, they delivered the flowers around the time I requested it (which was a good amount of time prior to the service starting). They apologized for the Valentines rush lack of communication. Great job on service after that! The flowers themselves were fine. I came by their shop, they showed me a catalogue and was able to get my arrangement done in about 30 minutes, maybe less. They also texted me when it was ready. The older lady with a cane was pleasant and pretty straightforward to deal with. My siblings and myself were in search of flowers for our grandparents joint funeral recently and I came across their website. I was worried because the funeral services were the day after Valentines day. My husband and I came in to do the consult for 2 flower arrangements it only took a few few minutes and everything was set up for the following week. The whole process was so quick and easy. When we arrived at the church couldn't believe how beautiful they turned out, just like the picture on the website if not better. I had to add in 9 boutonnieres last minute with no problems and they didn't charge me. We used them at the church, the reception after and for the internment services the next day! My sister lives out of the area and ordered flowers online and The Flower Basket received the order and delivered the arrangement through Door Dash. It was over a $100 arrangement and the flowers were wilted, sparse with bug eaten greenery and it lacked any symmetry or detail when it was put together. Sadly, this was their second chance as my sister used them previously and it was the same subpar arrangement the first time around which I returned. Needless to say, this arrangement died within 2 days since most of it was already wilted. read more

First time with this florist and the order was great! My Father requested a nice floral arrangement for my Mother on the occasion of their wedding anniversary. The order was exactly as my Father requested, and it was available at the time requested. Some of the flowers would have to get sourced, but we had a few days before the anniversary so it wasn't an "emergency, we need it immediately" type of situation. The good thing was that the owner listened to what my Father wanted, and let him know upfront about some of the flowers and the cost. When in town, for me this will be my go to florist, and for my Father it's now his, as it's very close to their home. I think you will be happy with their products and prices are very competitive. My mom went to Flower Basket to place an order for a casket spray for my dad's funeral after she was quoted an exorbitant amount at another local florist. Flower Basket had a nice catalog to order from and they were able to accommodate my mom's request to add additional flowers. The price was considerably less than the other place even with the additional flowers and she was very pleased with how the arrangement turned out. It turned out better than she expected. Placed an order in and got my mom flowers delivered for Mother's Day. They were incredibly beautiful! The arrangement was fresh, vibrant, and well put together. I was very happy. The only negative thing I will say is that when I placed a delivery order online, there was no communication about delivery times or updates. I tried calling their phone number and customer service line. Their phones were unavailable and I was not able to reach them. I ordered my sons corsage and boutonnière for his senior prom with them. The order experience was ok but there was no pictures to show options or exactly what to expect. The day of pick up it was not 100% of what we discussed and the white roses were beginning to wilt and the tips were brown on the corsage. I immediately asked them and one lady attempt to fix the problem and the other one became very frustrated. Limited on time at this point I have no choice but to use them. I tried to order flowers for mothers day but the system defaulted to JUNE so I have been calling and emailing the shop to cancel the order and they refuse to pick up their phone or return my emails. They have submitted a payment to my charge card... I got a hold of the credit card company and they said I will be able to file a complaint as soon as it 's been posted... Very POOR customer service. The arrangement I received wasn't even close to the one that was ordered. My boyfriend ordered a zen artistry arrangement & what was delivered was a mess of filler flowers in a glass vase. He ordered the flowers on Thursday night for a Friday delivery, then received an email on Friday saying the arrangement wasn't available and an "acceptable" substitute was sent instead. They weren't delivered until Monday afternoon and in two days over 3/4 of the flowers have died. Not sure where the disconnect happened but half dead carnations and mums are not an "acceptable" substitute for orchids and bamboo. And Monday afternoon is not Friday. Honestly I'm surprised at all the five star reviews this place has received. Hopefully this order was just a misstep on their part and they aren't posting fake reviews on here otherwise there will be a lot more disappointed customers. read more

Ordered a Vera Wang signature selection for a funeral, delivered locally. Was supposed to be blue and purple flowers with 3 - 5 purple/pink star asiatic lilies and a Vera Wang designed vase. It had some blue and some purple flowers, but way less than pictured. It had three (3) bright WHITE lilies and NO purple Vera Wang vase, no purple vase, a clear, plain, beer barrel vase. When contacted, women explained that she has never carried Vera Wang products and does have purple vases.
