My boyfriend ordered me early anniversary flowers and within the hour (or so) that he placed the order, they were delivered to my door! I must say that he has ordered me flowers from multiple florists in town (and even Costco!) and these were the freshest, best looking ones I've gotten! The tulips came closed up and I loved this because it's going to allow me to see them open up AND none of them were withered! I have to say that I was disappointed this Mother's Day. I wanted to purchase a bouquet with sunflowers for my mom (as they are her favorite flower). I decided to go with BJ's Petal Pusher's because they had a beautiful bouquet displayed on their website. Excited to hear that my mom had received the flowers, I asked her to send me a picture. I've purchased flowers from another florist in Napa and while I love their designs, their prices, not so much. Then, I found BJ's and was happy to see I could buy flowers without dropping $50 + delivery for a few blooms. Some may quibble with this, but I hate mums in arrangements and will not buy any bouquets with them in it. I prefer more modern flowers and while BJs lower price points had a lot of mums, they did have some mum-free options. I was able to chose a simple bouquet of cheery, yellow tulips and checked the box allowing for substitution. Well, about 10 mins after placing the order, BJ's called me and asked my preference for tulip color, since my selection was unavailable. I've never once had any florists call me when my pick was out of stock but BJs did. Props to them for that. My mom loved her tulips, said they looked great and is still enjoying them several days after I sent them. read more

She gave me several books to look at to get ideas that would tie in to what I had in mind. Once I made final decision, Jackie kept in touch every month until the wedding to see if I wanted any changes or anything different. I even got a sample bouquet for my birthday! DO NOT SHOP HERE! DO NOT SHOP HERE! DO NOT SHOP HERE! Years ago, I purchased $50 worth of flowers from this shop for my engagement party. I was in a hurry to get ready for the party so I swooped into the store, picked up my flowers and paid with a credit card. It wasn't until I stepped out of the store and was walking to my car that I noticed how awful the bouquet looked. For $50, I had been given a single bouquet. 90% of the bouquet was filled greenery, and the very few flowers (a couple of dahlias) that were flopped over because their stems were broken. After noticing this, I immediately turned around and went back in to return them. Even though the flowers were terrible, I always feel a bit guilty about returning things, so I was being extra polite about it, saying, "I'm really very sorry but I just can't pay $50 for this... It wasn't what I was expecting..." The man behind that counter EXPLODED at me. He grabbed the flowers out of my hands, shouted at me, accusing me of snapping the flowers' stems outside of the store. He called me sexist slurs, he even pounded the counter with his fists! As he raged on, I, with my hands shaking, took one of the store owner's business cards from the counter and wrote down exactly what he was saying to me. I stayed away from the counter, I kept one hand on the door in case he lunged or threw something at me. I was so scared. At this point, I realized that I had, minutes ago, just given my credit card number to this man. He'd written it down on a little piece of paper instead of swiping it through a machine (he'd said that the machine wasn't working). I asked for it back, and he flat-out refused to give it to me. Fighting back tears, I left. A few days later I wrote and mailed a letter explaining exactly what had happened to the owner of BJ's. I even explained how I'd written down WORD FOR WORD what the store clerk had said to me while we were in the store, so it was VERY accurate-I wasn't exaggerating at all. I never received any kind of response from her. Obviously, I will never step foot in that store again in my life and I strongly recommend that you do not either. read more

For Valentine's Day, I ordered flowers for my mother as a nice surprise through Teleflora. About 11:30am, I received a text from her that her flowers were delivered to a business across the street (and no I didn't provide an incorrect address), because she was leaving work and driving to this business to retrieve her gifts. Thank goodness this man tried to find my mother! On top of this, the balloons weren't fully inflated. I sent an email, which I didn't receive a response to, but it was nice that my mother received a call regarding this. However, I didn't like how the employee conveyed that I gave them the wrong address. This is the first company that's had an issue finding the location. Overall, I won't be using this company next time I need flowers. read more

I live out in the county 12 miles from Napa and beyond delivery range. A friend in UK has twice sent me flowers this year from this florist. The first time I had appointments in Winters and couldn't get into Napa to pick up my flowers. BJ's met me half way after closing to give me my bouquet! This week I am injured and home bound. Again this florist went outside their usual policy and agreed to deliver. I really appreciate this extra attention to service. A little extra kindness in business is sorely needed in our world! I called for delivery at 11am and the lady said they would be dropped off at 2pm for my wife at her work. The lady didnt drop them off until 330pm and my wife was off work by then. If you say you are going to provide a service and are paid to do so you should complete the task you were paid to do. I will never be using this business again. Horrible service read more

I recently ordered flowers from BJ's for my daughter's 50th birthday. Since I don't live in Napa I just had to take a chance on the florist I found online. I chose BJ's because it looked like a cute little business. I called and spoke to the nicest woman who was most helpful. The flowers were delivered that day and my daughter says they were beautiful and lasted nearly a week. I have used this florist several times without any problems for my anniversary this year I ordered a very specific bouquet from their website. I was very specific about the types of flowers and the colors. When my wife brought the flowers home 2 days later I realized the bouquet was not what I ordered and also the roses were already wilting. So I went back in a couple days later to request a refund. But to my surprise they accepted responsibility right away and offered to resend the correct flowers the next day. I accepted this and went on my way, happy that this business would fix their mistake. Unfortunately the next day they delivered a tiny arrangement of flowers to my wife. A shadow of what the bouquet should look like. This was a $100 arrangement I had originally bought. And it was my 4th purchase in one year. I feel like I never got my money worth. And when I gave them a chance to fix their mistake they just totally dropped the ball. I can not recommend this business and will find another florist in Napa to give my business to. read more

I ordered flowers yesterday to be delivered today to a friend who basically helped save my life. I explained to the woman what I wanted and why. She assured me the flowers would be delivered early afternoon today. At 3:00 I called the florist to see if they had been delivered as I had not heard from my friend. I was told they had not even left the shop which means she would not get them in the "early" afternoon. I was so disappointed as this to be a special thank you to my friend.
