Had yet another great experience at my local Bootbarn. I have to say that this particular location not only has a great stock of boots and apparel, but a great and welcoming staff. I have reviewed this place before, but was compelled to once again after being assisted today by Ven. Not only was she very helpful, but also knowledgeable about the various styles/brands of boots and very enthusiastic to be of help to me as I am deciding on my next pair of boots. Although the pair that I inquired about was not currently in store, Ven took the time to confirm that they were infact available online and also assured me that if I did order them and was not satisfied, I could bring them in the store with an option to exchange or return. It is always nice to work with someone who is very helpful and also someone that clearly likes what they do. This is what you get when you come to the Cordelia location. I had limited time today, but look forward to revisiting soon to try on a few different pairs before making my final choice. Also, the store is always clean and organized. I have been in this very organized and well stocked store three times. I found a belt for my granddaughter the other day and walked up to the register with a clerk there. I said I'd like to buy the $25 belt and she took a boot and said I'll be right back but didn't come right back- finally she looked at me still standing at the register ten minutes later and called for back up which took another five minutes. The next cashier asked if there was anything wrong well I said said I was left here for quite sometime- she defended the other clerk. Do you people need a refresher course in customer service? Terrible customer service, twice in a row. I went in yesterday 6/30 and usually before I would always get asked if I was looking for something if I needed help, but the employees just stayed at the front and did not cater to the customers. Today, 7/1 at 11am I went in to get a pair of boots that I placed on hold. i walked in and two employees were standing at the door. I was waiting at the register for atleast 5 minutes before one of them even helped me. when she saw i was waiting, you would think she would come up to me and ask me what i need but instead she was shouting all the way from across the floor. she asked me my name and i told her all the way across the floor, and the other employee questioned what my name was. so someone brought me my boots, and i looked back and one of them are looking at me from across the room. after i bought them, i was leaving and they were still standing there at the door, didn't look at me, smile, or say have a good day. Highly recommend this boot barn! Staff and managers were really helpful! Jennifer the manager helped me understand what boot conditioned was for and what I could use to clean water stained boots. When my bf wanted a specific hat, she had her really helpful staff Eric team up with her to search for it. They searched every hat! Talk about customer service! Then she had her other staff member Erick clean the hat my bf wanted and he did an excellent job cleaning it and making conversation! It was truly a great experience and bootbarn! This is an employee who refuses to give her name to a customer. Bootbarns policy, which she is clearly violating , is a name tag should be visible while on the sales floor. She actually tries to cover up the turned over name tag . Rather than following policy - she decides to call her district manager stating that customers are body shaming her . Completing fabricated. The young gentleman next to her was also asked for this individuals name - he responded " read her name tag " . Absolutely, unprofessional juvenile behavior customer service. My husband and I walked in for a return and an exchange he had called for earlier in the day. 3 white males had to ask us what we were looking for when we walked in. Then took my husbands return to hold up front.. we looked around for a few minutes with no help and honestly we just weren't feeling the vibe so we got in line. There were 2 people at the register until we got in line and he walked away, making us wait. Ava was at the register helping and she is horrific. She flirted with my husband the entire time I stood there making both of us feel HIGHLY uncomfortable. She kept mentioning how big my husbands feet are and how size 11 and up are SUCH big feet. My husband said he felt so uncomfortable the entire time and like she was insinuating sexual comments towards him. The selection is really small and no one will help you if you need it even with 10+ employees working there. read more

There was one individual who asked me to leave because I had an emotional support animal being 8 months pregnant. I told the lady that online it states animals are welcome online. Could've been approached better. Another lady approached us and said we can finish shopping up but for future reference not to bring the dog. There was also another individual who was carrying her dog but that was okay? So if I picked up my 80 pound dog it would've been okay? Nice double standards. Being a military member and having so little respect at the cash register when telling the cashier I'm military. "Make sure you tell us before we start scanning your stuff" Overall horrible experience and horrible behavior from your staff. I thought we were better than this. I never write reviews, but the customer service we received here was awful to say the least. I came in with a group of 5 looking to purchase a large sum of clothing (in excess of $700), so we piled our things together and went to the register. However, Jennifer (the manager I believe) began WHISPERING to the person trying to pay and then took our selected clothing and left without acknowledging or even looking at the other 4 people in the group. Only after asking our friend who was trying to pay did we find out that we are not allowed to pay for each other's items. If Jennifer had simply told us this and explained that we needed to pay seperately, we gladly would have done so. Instead of properly speaking to and receiving potential customers she completely ignored the rest of the group, refused to offer service to our friend, and left with all of the items we wanted to purchase. I tried to call her back out by asking another employee but he was unable to get her out of the back and had to ring me up himself. None of the other 4 people were able to purchase their items. This is ridiculously unprofessional by Jennifer and I hope she knows that she has lost many customers in us and our families/friends because of her attitude. She should not be in customer service if she behaves this way around customers and staff. read more

When the words "Boot Barn" comes to mind, I'm thinking Western or something along the lines of a cowboy. That is what they primarily sell, but they have much more. They also sell work gear which has brought me in as a customer. I must admit. I was prepared to face the worse service given the past reviews. Every worker I've come across was more than willing to assist. Don't let the poor reviews influence your decision to not do business here. There were no snags whatsoever. The selection in work boots are ridiculous. I could not decide on what logger boots to go with. I was clueless as this was not for "my primary job". I was assigned to backfill positions as they may be vacant temporarily. I've met another customer who was an experienced tree/pole climber and went with his recommendations. There's not much stored that cater to work gear. I've found this to be very convenient. Don't let the business name fool you. read more

Trying to have grace on so many companies having lack of employees and customer service but very disappointed in Boot Barns when they have employees but no one is helping customers and not even trying. With only 2 associates at the cash registers, 5 customers in line, 5-6 registers, 3 employees on their phones behind counter chatting with manager. Okay so we wait big deal. When a pair of jeans didn't have a tag on it the gal the helped us asked us to find the tag on another pair of jeans. What?!? I don't even work there but I'm looking for a like pair of jeans to find a tag. I went there today (2/9/23) to pick up a cowboy hat, couple Cody James pants and a few shirts. Normally when we walk in all (or almost all) employees would ask if they could help. They would always be extremely friendly. This time not even one employee would ask see if we needed anything. We asked for assistance in purchasing a cowboy hat and it felt like we were an inconvenience to them. Let's just say the dynamics are completely different now. We asked if Bobby (the gentleman who would shape hats) was working today and the lady said "I don't think he works here anymore." My guess is there is new management and and decided to leave. It seemed like all the friendly staff that worked there are no longer working there. This all changed sometime between the beginning of December 2022 and February, 9, 2023. What a shame since we spend a lot of money there being a family of 8. Looks like we will have to find a new place to go. read more
