My air conditioning unit suddenly stopped working and boost came out to do a diagnostic and give me a quote for repair. It was over 8,000 dollars. I then got three different companies to come out so I could benchmark pricing. All three of them had totally different diagnostics, but the third person who was recommended to me by a friend told me it was a very simple problem that took one hour to repair and cost me $250. My AC is now working perfectly and cooled down the house immediately. When I called, they came out the next day to fix my HVAC heater, which needed an inducer motor. When he came back the next day in the morning with the part, it turned out that a few other parts were damaged when the inducer motor burned out.
