This girl needs a raise went above and beyond to help me out with any question or concern and genuinely cared to help and not just because it's her job.

The worker in the store couldn't help me, so they called customer service and had me wait on hold for a representative. I was on hold for an hour before a rep finally came on the line. I then spent another 30 minutes with him trying to figure out how to get my phone out of SOS mode. No one seemed to be able to give me the elusive Puk code or get my phone working. He then stated he would need to escalate the call and would transfer me to another department. I figured he was going to warm transfer me to human. Nope. I was just placed back on hold again to wait for who knows how long. At this point I'd been there for over an hour and a half and my phone still wasn't working. I was not about to wait for another hour, so I just decided to upgrade my phone. I really didn't want or need a new phone; but that was my only option at this point, if I wanted a working phone. I declined the insurance multiple times. They told me they'd give me a month for free, which I also declined. A couple days later I decide to check my account to see what my new total monthly payment will be and there is two additional services that were added to my plan. The insurance coverage, that I specifically did not want, and an upgrade on my hotspot data allowance. Both of these services I never authorized or requested be added to my plan. This seems to be a common occurrence with Verizon. The main things you should take from all this is to (a) hope your phone never goes into SOS mode because no one will be able to help you; and (b) if you make any upgrades or changes in the store, make sure you check your account when you get home. I'm about 90% sure you'll have unauthorized additional services added to your plan.

Updated review, 12/20/2025. I decided to end my 15 year relationship with Verizon (due to…read moreexorbitant cost) and take a chance with Spectrum. I made an appointment for 4:30 PM but dropped in at 1:30 because I had time. Before I can even type my name on the check-in tablet, THREE agents approached me asking me what I need help with. THREE! The agent who helped me was Suzy. She was knowledgeable, a good listener and she gave me the confidence that she will be able to take care of my change over. She brought over the store manager, Tony, to finish the transaction when she had to take her lunch. "Please don't hesitate to come back if there's any issue. Thank you for your business." as she left. The switch over got completed smoothly including the back up of the phones. Sure enough, I had a minor issue with a phone so I stopped by on 12/27/25. Again, before I can even finish typing my name, the store's assistant manager , Julian, was already in front of me asking me what I needed help with. Suzy was there so we sat down on the store's couch and chatted about Christmas and family while she fixed my phone's issue. Done. 12/29/25, I came back to finalize some financial details with Tony and it was then that I found out the big change of "culture" at this store compare to my horrible experience in 2022. Tony told me that he became the store manager a year ago and proceeded to turn it around with the new hires. He instilled a culture of customers first and it shows. I could've gotten my issues worked out with tech support and billings but I chose to visit the store and have a "human" relationship. It worked. If you are in the market for internet, mobile or TV service or decide to do business with Spectrum and are close enough to this store, I recommend that you pay them a visit and decide for yourself.

Cityside Fiber turned a very negative experience into a 5/5 positive one…read more The Director of Customer Relations reached out to me (Strider) personally and offered several options to resolve the issue. I accepted one of them, and I also want to say that I genuinely apologized for my part in how things escalated. Just one business day later, Jon-Michael from Technical Support contacted me and scheduled a new installation date. Mike (hands down their best technician) came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and set up a new system that has been working flawlessly ever since. I can't say enough good things about Mike's expertise and professionalism. Logan also helped get the system configured and running smoothly from the virtual support side. I am now more than happy with Cityside Fiber -- both as an internet provider and as a company overall. If you're having any issues with Cityside Fiber, my strong advice is to escalate to one of the people mentioned here. Strider, Jon-Michael, Mike, and Logan are all true professionals who will do the right thing for you.

The actual fiber service is fine and fast when it is working. It just keeps dropping regularly and of course at bad times like Teams calls or when watching the game. Perhaps because they are a new service in the area. I miss Cox, especially when I have to reach out to Cityside's customer service or "concierge." They are pretty bad. Again, the fiber service is ok but their concierge is horrible. They never answer and never call back.

I have a new construction home and one of my first projects was networking/cabling. I wanted two Ubiquiti APs (one on each floor), several Ubiquiti PoE security cameras, and two CAT6 drops into bedrooms which the builder didn't add. Starlight Tech was able to take care of all of this and the best part was minimal holes in the drywall. There were some small holes that Mike told me about ahead of time, but they were small enough to be covered by standard wall plates. On the day of the install, Starlight Tech was here on time, worked together to make sure everything was done in a clean and neat manner, and made sure everything was fully up and running before leaving. They even came back on a second occasion because I was still waiting to order a final security camera. I've recommended Starlight Tech to my neighbors and highly recommend them for any networking or cabling job needed. They are extremely detailed and are excellent at problem solving. The price I paid was very fair for all the work they did. Thank you Mike, Javad, and the Starlight Tech team!!

They helped me install an entire Ubiquiti ecosystem, which included 5 POE Cameras, 1 POE Doorbell, 2 POE Doorbell Chimes, and 4 POE Access Points. It doesn't end there. They even helped me relocate my ethernet ports and power outlets to more convenient locations that are more hidden so I don't end up with dangling wires. It still doesn't end there. They completely rack-mounted everything and made everything beautiful. The Ubiquiti ecosystem is more expensive, but I didn't mind the investment, especially with two industry experts leading the way. In the future, I do not doubt that Starlight Tech will be my go-to if I require any additional networking! Additional Details: My house is a single family, 2 floors, 3326 sqft.
