4.5 The quality and interaction is definitely a 5 star. I gave it a 4.5 because I never had vegan cookies anywhere else so I have nothing to compare them to. Either way, they'll still be my go to first because of location, my friends love them and easy interaction for pick up :) A favorite amongst my Vegan friends!!!! I may not be vegan but I've tried just about all the cookies and they're deeeeelish. They thrown in samples for me since I wasn't going to tear open my friends cookies LOL. The cashew cardamom and strawberry preserves are a no brainer for me :) Soft and chewy and even my non vegan sister enjoyed them and she's a sweet head! Great product and great communication with them when I reach out to them via Instagram :) I will continue to support this lovely small business and you should too Vegan or Non Vegan! read more

I was so happy I've found Everlyn and her delicious cookies! I stumbled upon her Yelp listing when I was looking to buy gluten-free treats for a friend's birthday (she is celiac). All of the flavors are good but my personal favorites are the strawberry and cashew cardamom. The cookies are soft and chewy, which is just the way I like them, and one is a perfect size to have for a snack. YES. YES. YESSSSS. Booskies is it. Booskies is divine!! So two things: 1. I've been trying to transition into a gluten free diet (WAY harder than I expected, but isn't it always that way?) 2. My newest & yet my closest friends are vegan & one of them is gluten free. They just so happened to have their anniversary & his birthday on the same day so we had to get them something good! We made them a fun little care package & I was desperately in search of a dessert that was vegan, gluten free, and above all, GOOD. And Yelp just so happened to lead me to Booskies. I texted, not expecting to have my order fulfilled as it states clearly on the website that they sell out of cookies quickly however, Everlyn was able to make my dreams come true. We came to a great compromise, two orders of the Strawberry Preserves & one of the Chocolate Chip! They were ready for me promptly at 1:00 PM, she accepts Venmo, cash, & card (I opted for card). The process was easy with the reader, she emailed me the receipt immediately, & handed me a cute little paper bag with my goodies inside! I kept a bag of the Strawberry for myself, all of the reviews showed me that I couldn't pass them up and they were RIGHT! So soft, the perfect texture, & the strawberry in the middle is the PERFECT touch. I would've at least taken a picture of the bag but I couldn't contain myself & they were gone before I knew it...maybe next time (but probably not) My friend very much enjoyed both but preferred the Strawberry also loved that the texture was "similar to cookie dough" Anyway, I'll be back for more! read more

I was looking to surprise my best friend who is vegan and gluten free with some fun desserts for the weekend and a co-worker recommended I try Booskies Cookies. I called to ask for a recommendation then ordered through their website ahead of time as the owner said they sometimes sell out. She was so nice and helpful. These cookies are absolutely amazing! My best friend ended up with a bag that her boyfriend brought home from a work event, and I could not stop eating them. We had to make an order immediately. We tried the double chocolate, the chocolate chip, and the strawberry preserve. The strawberry preserve cookie is sweet and soft and the quality of the preserves is completely top-notch. I admittedly have a huge sweet tooth, there isn't a cookie I won't try, but I have been thinking for a full day about how I genuinely cannot determine if I have had a better cookie than these, even from the "big name" well known bakeries and establishments. The chocolate chip cookies are soft and melt in your mouth, and you really can tell that they're made with quality ingredients. Just because it's vegan does NOT mean it sacrifices taste in any way, shape or form. These are better than your average cookies by far! If you're in the Irvine area, I strongly recommend trying Booskies! Pickup was easy and convenient and the friendliest service ever! Seriously delicious, such an ongoing variety to enjoy, and all our vegan friends rave about it when we make sure to order and bring it to any party. I recently tried Booskies Cookies and they were absolutely delicious! I tried the Cardamom Almond butter, Strawberry Preserves and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies. They are moist, tasty and flavorful and hard to believe they are vegan. I couldn't stop eating them. I ordered online ahead of time and received an email notifying me that my order was ready to be picked up. The pick up was easy and safe (they do curbside pick up). The packaging is so cute. I recently found out a friend was lactose intolerant as I was on my way to buy a traditional birthday cake. Scrambling to find a birthday treat he could eat, I happened upon Booskies. How lucky was I! I called Everlyn and she told me that she could help me with my order even though I was calling last minute. I bought the chocolate chip, double chocolate, peanut butter chocolate chip, and cashew cardamom almond butter. The cardamom almond cookies didn't even make it to the party. I tried one in the car, and loved it so much, I kept the whole bag for myself. And the chocolate chip cookies were gone as soon as I put them out, so clearly they were amazing. I was able to snag a peanut butter and double chocolate before those disappeared, and they were so moist and flavorful there's no way you'd know they were vegan. In fact, no one knew they were vegan except me and the birthday boy! The cookies were a big success and I'll be back for sure!! read more

Overall, these pastries are definitely on the sweeter, cream-based side, and honestly, that is exactly what made them so good to me. I do not want desserts to be less sweet, I want them to feel indulgent and perfect, and these did. I will absolutely keep going back, especially for the lavender, chocolate, and pistachio pastries.

They also have whole cakes available without having to preorder but the flavors depends on days so it's worth to get a birthday cake here. Their slices are about $14 each but we typically don't finish one per person and always get multiples to try so don't let the price tags scare you. Ambiance wasn't anything impressive except for the displays of crepes, which always pleasing to eyes. Service was normal. They don't give out free plates unless we asked though

We have made pit stops at this OG branch of Cream Pan in Tustin over the years. The location of…read morethis well-known Japanese/French bakery was unusual in that it's isolated in a corner of the El Camino Plaza. I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.
