Avocado breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant

Best breakfast sandwich that I've had while in Boston. Great price and service too. Will be returning here next time were in the city.

We were staying close to TD Garden and wanted to find a nearby breakfast place. This place was great! I ordered ahead for convenience and everything was hot and ready when we got there. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel with an added hash brown. I could tell this place takes pride in what they do and their food and restaurant shows it. The place is kinda narrow but has many seats at a long table. Would def come back if I'm ever back in the city.

Bacon egg and cheese with hashbrowns on a sesame seed bagel. Perfectly seasoned and cooked.

I've made this place my go to for breakfast and lunch when I go into the office. I do an online order when my train pulls into north station and it's ready by the time I get there. Everything is always ready on time. The service is excellent. He has the cup prepared but doesn't pour the coffee until you get there so its fresh and hot. So thoughtful and not something you'll get at Starbucks. I love that they have simple sandwiches available in addition to hot food. I don't always want something super complex for lunch just because I didn't pack one with me, and this place has the best of both worlds. Pricing isn't bad either for the area. I highly recommend.

Great place for a quick breakfast. I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott and this place is a 2min walk. Typical breakfast, hot and fresh - highly recommended.

Great local Deli serving bulgolgi (beef, pork , tofu options) rice and noodle bowls. Large portions and the japchae is a plus!

    Bibimbap

I chanced, pun intended, upon Bonne Chance Cafe during one of my many walks on Canal Street. I had my lavender lemonade in hand when out of the corner of my eyes I see a giant poster for bibimbap. Bibimbap is a Korean rice dish with mixed salted pickled vegetables topping. It usually come with a marinated protein, usually thinly sliced pork or beef in a sweet Korean marinade. Also sometimes topped off with a fried egg. Sounds like a lot? Well, it is. The poster caught me by surprise. I have walked this street countless times but never noticed the cafe. For a fast food cafe, Bonne does a very decent bibimbap for the price that you pay. It is nothing to rave about but it's definitely a quick option for lunch. It takes about 5 -7 minutes to prepare. The vegetables are pre-made and packaged. You're really waiting for the marinated meat topping, the fried egg, and the rice. It will not come in a hot stone pot as how most Korean restaurants does it. Instead, the rice comes in a small to go container. The vegetables you get include blanched bean sprouts, spinach, green squash, carrot, lettuce, and mushroom. You can pick spicy pork, beef, or chicken for protein. I have tried all three and all are decent with the beef being my favorite followed by pork and then chicken. Some days the marinated mushrooms can be slightly salty but other days perfectly fine. The portion is huge and I never finish. The cafe also serves breakfast items which I have not yet tried. There is also a salad bar which I see a lot of people choose during the lunch rush. You can also get dumplings from the salad bar area. You can get either meat or vegetable dumplings. I have tried the spicy vegetable dumplings and they have a nice kick to them. There is a good amount of seatings by the window if you want to eat in. Overall, great place if you work in the area and want to grab a quick lunch.

The milk tea tasted great! Very refreshing and not overly sweet. I wish there a little bit more mango flavor but it was by no means bad. The real star of the show was the bibimbap. The portions were large and all of the food tasted fresh, very flavorful, and came out hot. Although the restaurant seemed unassuming this was probably one of my favorite bibimbaps I've ever had. The staff were also very nice and apologized for the wait. They come and collect your plates when finished. I highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the area even though parking can be a bit tricky!

The sashimi was fresh. Everything was great. I'm not a Korean food connoisseur so not sure about lower ratings on here but from my understanding it is inspired by family style meals. That being said I think the smaller portions + multiple plates meant for sharing are perfect and makes for a fun meal that leaves you at a satisfied full. While I appreciated small touches with being able to put your jackets in a plastic bag under your seat, everything else fell a bit short. The quality of the meats and produce was a bit disappointing. Even towards the end of our meal, even when our server told us the meat was ready, a couple of pieces were still raw. We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

The corn cheese was also enjoyable--salty, satisfying, and paired with a generous serving of chips. Service, however, leaves room for improvement. When we asked to move from the bar to the bar tables due to a leak above us, we were required to close out our tab first and didn't get waited for a while which felt inconvenient given the situation.
