From 5 to 1 Star We are Bonefish customers since Bonefish had white tablecloth in Stuart, Florida meaning pretty much from the beginning and have seen the changes over time. At that time, you almost felt you have to go to Bonefish ALL dressed up including in a tuxedo. What we experienced last Sunday was pretty much bottom, if not rock bottom of a restaurant. Wonder if it could go even lower, time will tell. We went for a lunch, or so we thought and the first thing we experienced after seating and ordering 2 Merlot was black things over the white paper. I was under the impression they did not change the paper after the last customers and sorry, I did not take a picture of it and just used the card to swipe the stuff from the paper over the side. Too late I realized they were actually tiny dead black ants because one was left on the table and I had a closer look at it. The bread came with the olive oil dip and I broke off a piece of bread, broke a piece off of that one and dipped it. After the 3rd piece dipping, I noticed something really thick black in the dip, it seemed to be soft but that was the end for me eating, dipping bread. Wonder if it was some grease dripping down somewhere in the kitchen right into the oil. Just a thought. I opened my napkin with forks and knife and looking at it, well, look for yourself at the enclosed pictures after also the Merlot came. Now we were finally ordering but honestly, I did not feel like eating really something so we only ordered a tempura sashimi. We actually did not say anything at that time since we did not want to upset anybody and maybe "spoiling" our order. Then came the food and that was the time I told the fellow to bring us 2 new clean empty glasses and clean new forks and knife. We poured the wine ourselves into the clean glasses. All the greasy oily marks on the glasses are not very good visible, I guess you have to take my word for it but then maybe I am expecting too much for $7.90 a glass. The spot you see marked is actually on the inside of my glass, I assume some "food rest over" from the last customer and the same seems to count for the "tools". Forks and knife replacement would have not been needed since we eaten the tempura with the enclosed chopsticks. Glad they came in a paper package. The plate with the food had actually all the greasy fingerprints of all the people that touched it too. I guess I don't have to tell how my old 5star rating is going in the meantime for Bonefish. We actually took picture of the problems too and also sent this review to Bonefish headquarter, never received a reply. read more

We have gone to this restaurant numerous times. Most recently a few days ago we had a reservation and we're seated about 15 minutes late, this was at no fault of anyone at the restaurant. the maître d'. Was very accommodating, polite, and professional. I would like to add that the staff was accommodating, polite and professional as well as this restaurant wasn't full capacity. The issue I have was the food as an example calmari appetizer was so over cooked it was barely eaten. Beef potstickers were decent, but it looks like they threw on so many condiments that if not eaten quickly, they became soggy and fell apart. I ordered the surf and turf which consisted of a piece of beef and five shrimp. I asked for my steak to be rare, and it came back, medium well, due to the overcrowding of the restaurant and the fact that everybody was served I didn't want to interrupt anyone nor make a scene as we were celebrating a special event. My shrimp or so over done and tasted more like shrimp, jerky, and actual shrimp. one of those attending in our party ordered cream spinach and it came out as if it was served on microwave dish, and I might add with warm and not hard. Another patron ordered the fillet and lobster tail, his fillet was raw and the lobster tail was so over cooked again it could've been called lobster jerky. For a restaurant the price itself cooking of seafood I know about the statement that I'm going to make is going to be rough but the chef should go back to culinary 101 school. Very pleased with our experience!!! Julian was ou server and he was great! We only ordered a couple of apps because it was so close to dinner and we didn't want to be eating dinner late due to being so full. We had the bang bang shrimp (extremely popular appetizer), calamari (delicious choice), and we split a bowl of the corn chowder. All very tasty!!!! I love the ambience of this establishment. It's always classy no matter which location and the staff are always professional looking in their company uniforms. Love the food. I never could figure out the way they serve the water in tiny glasses with a very small pitcher to refill, but if you're getting a different drink it doesn't matter. I really loved my experience here! I used to go to Bonefish ALL the time when I used to travel for work, but hadn't been in over 10 years. Well, I'm happy to report they're still going strong. I sat at the bar alone (super busy at 6pm on a Thursday night) and was immediately served by a super friendly bartender. After a HomeGoods shopping spree we were hungry and stopped off at Bonefish. My expectations aren't high for any chain, but I was pleasantly surprised. We sat at the bar and Mikalo was our server/bartender. He was so friendly and knowledgeable that it made us come back a few weeks later. The second time it was Dalton and Mikalo. Dream team! I recently attended a birthday dinner at Bonefish. There were 15 of us. The service was okay but when it was time for the birthday cake which was brought in, the wait staff started passing out the bills. We had to cut our own cake and ask for coffee. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos because everything was just so underwhelming . I went to this location because I love the one in Tampa and always had good food. That's not the same case here, underboiled weird tasting pasta in the macaroni... Almost tasted bleached. Crab cakes that have no sear on them, tastes like mush, and a soup that had no depth of flavor... Just heavy on cream. Fantastic server, just sorry she has to serve this type of food.... Went to the Sept. 20, 2023 Harvest Season Wine Dinner in Stuart, FL. Very disappointed. The food was cold, the Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay wine were so bad, we couldn't drink it..Two in our party were never given the dessert, which was ok because it was so bad. The only good part, however, was the Apple Harvest Spinach Salad - and the Migration Pinot Noir was very good. $55/per person, plus tax and gratuity was just not worth it. The service was good so left 20% tip, but had to wait a long time for the bill and eventually had to ask someone to bring it to us. All in all not a pleasant experience. read more

Visited Bonefish the last weekend in July, the food was good but the most outstanding event of the evening was the superior service we received from our server, Lauren. Good service always makes a meal more pleasurable. I am happy to say each of our menu selections were excellent and we enjoyed each and every course., including dessert. The only negative is they should do away with the Watermelon Martini that I would not recommend. But if you want a treat ask for Lauren on your next visit. You will not be disappointed. If you haven't been to the Stuart bonefish you simply haven't been! This location is like no other! The service is excellent!! My last experience I had Makenzie and she was fabulous. Never let our drinks go dry and was very attentive. I had the blacked mahi with the lily topping with blackened shrimp! The fish melted in my mouth it was so delicious. The key lime cake is the best way to end the night. I recommend getting a bottle of wine because the choices are wonderful. Definitely one of my favorite places in Stuart! read more
