Not normally a big fan of chain restaurants but this one has solid food and service. Server greeted us immediately and took our order. Bread with dipping sauce was very tasty. Lunch today with hubby, waited 10 minutes for server to come to table,15 to get water and bread. Another 10 minutes for her to return to take our order, which took over 20 minutes (1 app, a side and an entree) while folks who arrived AFTER US, with a different server got their appetizers and food BEFORE US. My asparagus side (5 measly stalks) were COLD, my crab cakes ( which were lumpy, mushy tasteless blobs) were ALSO COLD. Hubby's fish and chips made him sick, the fish was so over cooked, full of grease . No check on food during the time we were eating, no refill on waters. SO DISAPPOINTING. Server was nice, not attentive and the restaurant had 2 tables (including us) when we left. DIDN'T RECEIVE A TAB RECEIPT AFTER CASH PAYMENT, Not professional. Glad to leave and come home. We stopped in for an early dinner. Sat at the high tops by the bar. Have never been to this location but have frequented the other location in Vero Beach and love the food and ambience and service. Much different with the Stuart location. It was like night and day. My food was cold and had to be sent back to warm it up. My husband ordered a Smokey old fashioned which they are known for. Was served regular and had to be sent back . We felt rushed and won't be back. Server was very condescending as well. Enjoyed a dinner with the family here recently. Very nice lighting, and not too loud inside. The temperature was a bit on the cool side so bring something to throw on if you get cold easily. Parking was easy, and seating was quick. Service was on point, with the waiting staff checking in on us frequently. We did no appetizers, settling for the table bread and oil/herb dip. For dinner we tried: woodfire-grilled Bass, new seafood pasta, woodfire-grilled Mahi Mahi, and a classic Fish & Chips. No complaints to be had, in fact everyone found their food to be delicious. The Bass was a little smaller than expected, on the other hand the pasta and fish & chips were very plentiful. My husband and I have eaten here numerous times but this is my first review of the restaurant. The food, service, cocktails, desserts are always unique and delicious. I tried the new item on the menu which was Fontina Pork Tenderloin with a Marcella sauce and bits of bacon. It was cooked to perfection and delicious. I will definitely order it again. This ambiance is classy, romantic and elegant but families with younger children come here also. It is definitely an upscale restaurant but don't just go there on a special occasion. It's a chain but it's consistently good and the service is always impeccable. I love the cedar planked salmon and I never eat salmon. Every time we have eaten here (like twice a month or more) it's been great. The wait staff is super attentive, very knowlegable and friendly. They go out of their way to please everyone and it shows. Great place for fish and chips and burgers too. The also have a nice reward program that is linked to their other restaurants (Carabbas, Flemings and Bonefish) and the points are good at all places. Last night I surprised my Boyfriend for his birthday by taking him to Bonefish. I made the reservations for 8pm but I didn't know they closed at 9 ANYWAYS we had a WONDERFUL Waitress- Ashlie F!! She had great skills, wonderful personality, and all around just the sweetest waitress we have ever had!! She came and got our drinks and I just quickly mentioned it was my boyfriends birthday (hehe) and she was just SO SWEET! He got up to use the bathroom and she quickly came over and wrote "Birthday Boy" with an arrow pointing at him! I thought that was WONDERFUL!! We had small chit chat with her and she just had such a great personality and really made the Birthday Dinner a Special one!! We went to Bonefish Grill in Stuart a few days ago and was extremely disappointed in the food. I always remembered it as a decent standby chain with consistent food offerings. One of our guests had send her fish back it was so overcooked you couldn't eat it. They obviously have no idea what a poke bowl is suppose to look like. Mine consisted of a gigantic mound of rice topped with virtually no tuna. I've ordered this from numerous seafood restaurants and this wasn't a poke bowl. Even their famous bang bang shrimp had a couple pieces of cauliflower mixed in. Might want to stick to the happy hour drinking at the bar or avoid the place altogether. read more

The only flaw was the guy sitting at a bar table when we walked in who swiveled his head to look at us, his mouth was agape chewing with food falling out, I almost ducked and high tailed it out of there! This place definitely has a chain feel to it, but it's still a solid seafood meal, even if it's more expensive. Good for larger groups with lots of drinks. I've come here twice and their grilled salmon and Chilean sea bass are delicious! You get two sides with it, and I recommend the garlic mashed potatoes and whatever the veggie of the day is. My wife who is generally not overly picky on food neglected to tell anyone including me her Mahi was tasteless overcooked and unpleasant . The Shrimp that was included in her meal were equally disappointing. I will say that the Sangria was nice and our Service was stellar. I was one of a large dinner party on a Tuesday night celebrating my dear friend's Mom's birthday. Max was our server. He was both efficient and friendly. Furthermore, he was knowledgeable about the menu as well as the daily specials. The table shared two appetizers: the Prince Edward Island Mussels Josephine and a Imperial dip and chips. I only tried the mussels and these were good. The consensus among the group was the dip was delicious, but I was trying to save on calories for dessert. There was no shortage of bread and olive oil throughout our dinner. #winning I paired my meal with two glasses of The Federalist Zinfandel, one of my preferred brands of Zin. For my entrée, I took advantage of the daily feature and ordered grilled swordfish. I find too much of any flavor can be overwhelming on this particular fish; therefore, I ordered the Pan Asian and lemon butter sauces on the side. The Pan Asian was the winner! I paired my fish with jasmine rice and steamed broccoli. My order arrived the way it was ordered: two sauces on the side and broccoli sans butter. The taste and temperature of my meal were great. Others in our party also enjoyed this fish yet paired it differently, another had the tuna special and a few ordered the steak and lobster tail combinations including the birthday gal. I didn't hear any complaints and a couple of folks raved about the coleslaw. I'll take their word for it as I'm not a fan. Most recently a few days ago we had a reservation and we're seated about 15 minutes late, this was at no fault of anyone at the restaurant. the maître d'. The issue I have was the food as an example calmari appetizer was so over cooked it was barely eaten. Beef potstickers were decent, but it looks like they threw on so many condiments that if not eaten quickly, they became soggy and fell apart. I ordered the surf and turf which consisted of a piece of beef and five shrimp. I asked for my steak to be rare, and it came back, medium well, due to the overcrowding of the restaurant and the fact that everybody was served I didn't want to interrupt anyone nor make a scene as we were celebrating a special event. My shrimp or so over done and tasted more like shrimp, jerky, and actual shrimp. one of those attending in our party ordered cream spinach and it came out as if it was served on microwave dish, and I might add with warm and not hard. Another patron ordered the fillet and lobster tail, his fillet was raw and the lobster tail was so over cooked again it could've been called lobster jerky. For a restaurant the price itself cooking of seafood I know about the statement that I'm going to make is going to be rough but the chef should go back to culinary 101 school. Our party of five arrived promptly at the time of our reservation and was promptly seated. The restaurant is divided into two sections. Our party was seated in the larger and brighter of the two. Upon entry we were ushered to the left, where the seating ambiance is warm and inviting with dark wood booths outfitted with light brown leatherette benches around the perimeter of the room. The middle area is filled with tables for four. Our party of five was nestled in a quiet corner booth jut large enough to accommodate us. If you are tall, I would recommend a table. The waitress quickly appeared to take drink orders. It was a 'hard table:' three iced teas, a seltzer and a lemonade. I had downed two lemonades before the entree arrived. The waitress never missed a beat and kept the soft drinks coming. Diets prevailed and the table decided against appetizers. Question is: Would diets best desert? The entrees arrived after the table was plied with fresh bread and seasoned olive oil for dipping. So much for my resistance to carbs. If this 'appetizer' was a prelude to the meal, we were in for a treat! With the bread almost all gone, the food arrived. It was pipping hot and it was abundant. I ordered the crab incrusted cod. My entree came with two side dishes. To accompany the cod, I chose the garlic and butter mashed potatoes and; for a modest additional fee; the mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes were whipped and creamy but I found the garlic to be a bit overpowering. The mac and cheese, on the other hand, was a delight. The cheese was melted to a stringy perfection and topped with just the right amount of browned breadcrumbs. The traditional elbow pasta was substituted by cavatappi. To enhance the flavor of this cheese lover's delight were large bite sized, crispy bacon bits. "Bacon on mac and cheese?" Question one guest from the table. I dove in to find out the answer. Excellent addition to an old stable. The crab incrusted cod was topped with a few spoonfuls of crab meat. The cod's crust was toasted lightly while the fish it surrounded remained moist and flavorful. The portion sizes were such that I brought home enough for tomorrow's lunch. One of the guests at the table was celebrating a birthday, to help with the celebration, a large, gluten-free, brownie under a dollop of whipped cream and a cherry was brought to the table. A very nice touch. No-one passed-up a taste. Except for the brownie, dessert was put off to another day. Diets prevailed! The menu of the Bone Fish Grill is not limited to fish. There are several choices that will satisfy the hungriest of carnivores. The wine list, while not extensive, is comprised of delightful choices ranging from a fruity Shiraz to an earthy Cabernet.
