The bonefish grill is one of my favorite places to eat. I don't go out much but it's always on my list when I do. We encounter a problem the last time we were there. A mistake was made and one of our entrees wasn't ordered from the kitchen resulting in all of the meals arriving together but one. The waitress and supervisor provided the entree at no charge with two deserts for the table, at our request! All of the food was excellent and in spite of the missing entree the service was good! No complaints, but one inconsequential nit! No one ever apologized for the mistake. I am a senior and just have different manners in a situation like this! I used to love Bonefish Grill from when my sister worked there years ago -- and they used to make incredible lychee martinis. That being said, after tonight, I can't see us returning. To start, service was very slow. We went a little later in the evening, so I understand staff may have already been starting side work, but unfortunately our server forgot my husband's drink until about the time his dinner was served. We also barely saw any staff on the floor to help move things along. The Bang Bang Shrimp was okay, but the bed of lettuce underneath tasted off and affected the flavor of the dish. My Lily's Chicken was tough, and both the potatoes and vegetables were heavily over-salted. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta special, and honestly we were shocked by the portion quality. The scallops were tiny and tough -- I'll attach a photo -- and looked like canned scallops with a gray tint to them. The shrimp weren't much bigger than salad shrimp, about the same size as the Bang Bang Shrimp. It honestly made us wonder if they had run out of regular shrimp or if this is truly how the dish is intended to be served. Our bill came to around $150 with two kids' meals and 1 drink each, and for that price we would much rather go to The Black Marlin or Riverwalk Cafe, where the service and food quality are consistently better. What left the worst impression was that when my husband's drink finally arrived 30 minutes later, it was still fully charged on the bill. Went in for Mother's Day brunch. It was much slower than I thought. Bar was completely empty so we sat there. There were two bartenders on Vincent and Tanner. You could tell that Vincent was a polished bartender continuously checking on in with us and making sure we ordered. Wonderful personality Etc. Tanner put zero effort into his job. I'm not asking for cartwheels. Maybe a "Hey how are you guys today" not "Drinks.." he seems very profession on the Service station when it comes to making drinks for the restaurant so maybe he should stay over there and leave the social interaction to Vincent! Wonderful bar display, I got the crab chowder it's one of their most consistent menu items. It's such a good soup! And then for entrées, I got the bang bang shrimp tacos, which were phenomenal! And then we also got a side of the grits and brussels sprouts. All were so good. The only thing that remained was the cosmopolitan! Amazing experience dining at bonefish with family. The manager, Andre was phenomenal with making sure all of our needs were met. Our server Tara was prompt with getting all of our drink orders in as quick as possible even though they were very busy on a Monday night. This was my third time going to one of their special 5 course pairings and each time has been excellent and such a fun time! Once a month, they have a themed night with a set menu and set price. For May, it was a tequila Mexican theme. All of the dishes were very delicious, but I loved the ceviche and the shrimp stack the most. They even decorated the tables and gave out these cute little magnets that we could keep. They also always have at least one raffle during these events. It's such a fun night and a really good opportunity to try new dishes and new drinks that you normally would not order. The cost was $65 which for five cocktails and five courses of food, it really is such a good deal. Looking forward to more to come. read more

Ate lunch here today. I think server while sweet had too many tables to be able to give good service. I asked for the 27$ pork chop told her tell them med don't dry it out .. well of course it was tough dried out but the sauce was good potatoes and asparagus were good. Again I'm not sending it back cuz they r so slow I think that's my last try with this place and a pork chop! We eat out about five times a week and in season in Stuart service sucks they are having too many tables to handle. This gal even had outside tables. She told her manager about the e pork chop I was about to say take this back and tell them to cut it.. you'll need a saw! I left half to bring home if I'm starving I may have. Mother go at it. Hubby had a fish dish he liked flavor but small piece. We keep wishing the Gafford or Stuart fish were open Sunday afternoon! I'm not a fan of chain restaurants so this was just ok for me lol my kid (6) doesn't eat chicken fingers and French fries so I had to order him salmon and broccoli if the adult menu ($22) He however ate every bite of it. read more

This was my mom's and I first time going to this place. We heard mix reviews about it but decided to give it a try since it would be new for the both of us. Upon entry there were plenty of space, the lights were dim we went around 3pm so it wasnt busy at all. We were sat and waited about 15 mins before someone came to greet us and grab our orders. The service is the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. We weren't check on after we placed our orders or after we received our food. Once our plates were cleared the serve came over and asked if we needed anything else. I just informed him of the check and a Togo box. The food was great in both my mom's and i opinion I ordered the bang bang shrimp as an entree. she ordered the cold water lobster tail. As you can see in the pictures they were pretty big. Her meal came with two sides which I thought the mashed potatoes were tasty she didnt but she love the broccoli. The drinks I absolutely loveddd I would be back just for their blackberry sangria. Inconsistent from one week to the next. One time chicken, mashed potatoes & broccoli perfectly served...absolutely delicious. Next week, same order....overcooked, hard chicken with cold mushy potatoes & green slop of broccoli. It's impossible to say if they serve good food or perhaps it depends on the mood of the staff. At $30+ dollar a plate for basic fare, it's not really worth the gamble. Cocktails are incredibly weak, so just ask for lemon water to fit in with the senior crush at the door & hit another bar for some fun atmosphere & real drinks. Parking is a big hassle here as well. Service was good. Food was terrible. Late dinner @ 9pm. Ordered the Grouper grilled with BFG seasoning. Asparagus. Roasted potatoes. Had one Aperol Spritz. The Grouper was so overcooked that the server brought with it all five sauces and none of them hid the fish from being over cooked. The asparagus was so, over cooked that it was mush and when cutting disintegrated. The potatoes must have been sitting in the kitchen under a heat lamp the entire night. I usually have the Seabass. I stopped ordering it because it was also, not good. This is the 3rd time in a few months that the food here isn't good. Actually not edible. I left most of the food on the plate and asked for my check. $40.15. I left a $20 cash tip as I always over tip. Unfortunately this will be and is the last time I eat at any of their franchise restaurants. Prices are high and quality of food is nonexistent. Lobster Bisque: Excellent With real pieces of Lobster and a tiny hint of spice from the Sherry. Fresh Bread with Oil and Herbs to dip in: Oh so Good! We ate (2) loafs. The second was brought out without us even having to ask for it. I had...the Filet Thermidor - Filet of Beef with a lobster and crab cream sauce on top, w/ broccoli. Very Good! Our group really enjoyed this restaurant. Tucked inside a shopping area it wasn't the easiest to find, but most definitely worth the effort. A dark interior with white tablecloths, booths on the perimeter and tables in the middle-a nice little bar as well. A lot of seafood options and a great appetizer menu. Try the kung pau brussels and the mussels-incredibly good. The key-lime cake and the coconut pie with rum sauce should not be missed. Update...have been back here many times in the past 7 years since my first review. Had some excellent meals here. However, the sirloin steak I had the other night left much to be desired. It was a weirdly-shaped cut of meat. Not very tasty and no eye appeal at all. I would not order it again, although I have enjoyed steaks at the BFG in the past. My friends got the trout, which I should have ordered, too. They said it was delicious, and it did look good. A lemon butter sauce accompanied their dish. Next time...and I will go back...I will order it. I have to say the service was extremely slow. The place wasn't particularly crowded at the time we went. We waited about 45 minutes after ordering for food. Then we had a long wait for the check, which was totally wrong and had to be re-calculated. Sounds like a bad review, but I like the BFG normally and all places occasionally have an "off" night. I am the eternal optimist and trust my next meal there will be better. read more

I randomly stopped by bonefish grille one evening around 5 pm because traffic was terrific and I was hungry. There were only a few open high top tables near bar area . I don't consume alcohol but I enjoyed a potent ginger ale with cranberry hints accompanied by happy menu items ; bang chicken bites and ahi tuna wonton salad. Very satisfying to my hunger spot. So we came here for a date night as my wife puts in. When we came in, we were sat immediately. We met our waitress who seemed to be having a bad day. I don't want to name her nor describe her because everyone is entitled to a bad day but it was obviously noticeable. We got our bread which was ok. We did not order any appetizers as my wife doesn't like seafood. We ended up ordering the Lilly's chicken and I ordered the Sorlion and crab cake. The chicken was good. Goat cheese on anything is awesome. My wife's sides were cream spinach which was great! And she got vegetables which were the string green beans. They were extremely horrible. Hard as rocks. Not much seasoning. The steak was awful. Hard, I asked for medium rare and came out medium to medium well. The crab cake we're ok. Mash potatoes were ok. The fries were good. Didn't want to dine in and so decided to try take out from this establishment. I ordered parmesan crusted rainbow trout which was good size and seasoning was crazy. Liked the Cole slaw since it didn't have mayonnaise which was different and light. The fried calamari was cold and chewy by the time I got it to the house but guess that may happen when you do take out with fried calamari. At first glance this resturant was very good, April 2024. Have been back twice since then and food has got progressively worse. Last evening (my last time to have dinner at Bonefish)-Valentines(early). Ordered the Bonefish highly recommended as indicated by star on menu-Flounder stuffed with unrecognizable "stuff" although I was able to find 1 shrimp in it. The fish was overcooked on the outside, crunchy I would say, not what you would expect for that type of dish. The stuffing was overpowering such that I could only taste the cheese-not what i was hoping for. I asked for a baked potato as side-not available. I like spinich but could not eat what was served as there was an aftertaste My dinner partner had the chicken marsala which was a piece of chicken (small)with brown sauce on it. After being regulars here every Friday night for years we have had nothing but a positive experience except the last few times. They have a patron who comes in and eats alone and put her phone on speaker and volume ten. I can see if it's a quick call but it's the entire dinner. Doesn't matter where they moved us , or the other patrons , they told us there's nothing they can do. So in essence let's spend $200 every weekend to listen to someone else's conversation on megaphone. 3 tables complained and they simply don't care. They collect their checks and couldn't care about dining experiences. Poor staff decision. The gentleman with long hair with a pony tail pretty much was like "to bad " We will take our business somewhere else. I think everyone should enjoy their dinner and ambiance. Haven't been here in years. Stopped by for lunch with a friend. I had the fish and chips, my friend had a cheeseburger and fries. My fish was good, I would have preferred more salt on it. It came with tartar sauce and malt vinegar: the sauce was excellent, but the vinegar did not have much flavor at all. My friend said his burger was great. But what impressed me the most about this place was the ambience.
