Disappointing. Bonefish NC, Florida and even the one that used to be at the west end in the twin cities was fabulous! Not this one here in Madison. It's gone down hill. Very disappointing. And to top it off, one of my pet peeves is my napkin is on top of the panko forward cod fork and knife on top of the napkin and the bartender ask if I was done with my meal ‍

We got a gift card and bonefish grill was one of the places it was accepted. I've wanted to try Bonefish since I moved to Madison. Our server was friendly but forgot to ask if we wanted refills/more water during our meal. She did refill promptly once we asked though! The hype about the bang bang shrimp is real. Amazing. Didn't even get a picture because it was GONE. The soft warm bread they serve before your meal is also incredible and how tasty the pesto dipping sauce cannot be explained, only experienced. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and upgraded to brussell sprouts for sides. Mashed potatoes were average but the brussel sprouts were fantastic! Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will definitely be back to try more items and eat more bread!!

We went into Bonefish Grill on a Sunday afternoon, it was the second time I've been there. I had the twin lobster tails, Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. I'm not big on vegetables but the Brussel sprouts were delicious! And happy our drinks were good.

This was our first time visiting Bonefish Grill and we really enjoyed it. The food portions were much better than expected. Our waiter was on top of everything he took amazing care of us! Overall it looked very fancy but kid friendly. My daughter enjoyed being able to color on the paper atop the table. It was such a nice experience and very calm setting. This may be a great go to place for my family.

Before I give my review about the food, our waitress Nina was the best. I walked out of my house with the wrong debit card, I was super embarrassed because I had to pay the rest of the bill in quarters. She was so kind about it, I could have curled in a hole and cried. The servers were great too, I came back to give her a tip and a customer was being rude to the servers. I wanted to say something to the customer but I do not think it would have been pretty. Okay why does people think that this restaurant is a five star restaurant. The calamari had to much breading and it was rubbery. Who wants to chew on rubber. The mashed potatoes were okay, the soup was good. But the best part of the meal was the bread & drinks. Sorry I do not give this a five star review like people talk about it.

Came for Valentine's and they were giving out roses, so cute! Our waitress was great, the place was packed and both our food and those around us all came out quickly. Bang Bang shrimp is just as good as everyone says. Also, as we waited the manager came around w chardonnay samples and shrimp later on!

How I miss Bonefish Grill, so happy we found one here. I of course had fish and chips while the Mrs. had Lobster tail. As expected the food was amazing. Our server suggested dessert which was also amazing. I'm told you babe go to Bonefish Grill without getting Bang Bang Shrimp.., is also amazing. Great food, great service and peaceful atmosphere. Oh the Key Lime Cake should be shared it's rather large.

Starting off the New Year Jan 6th The tables looked beautiful, lightning was dim but not too dim. The dining room can be a bit noisy when filled with conversation, but its beautiful. Our service was wonderful. I had: Kate's Wild North Atlantic Haddock Pinko dusted talked with feta cheese, artichoke hearts, and finished with a lemon basil butter sauce The food was tasty, asparagus was a bit over cooked. We'll probably would've been very tasty with broccolini. A little more color to the plate would've been nice. Perhaps a mild blackening option with the lemon. Perhaps some sort of light fruit garnish lingonberries, pomegranate... something. The food had good flavor. I got a daily special, it seems slightly like chain restaurant food. Lots of butter, lots of sauce, the fish was nearly overcooked but still ok. Considering options on the West side of madison this is a pretty good option.

Came here during a lunch hour and service was great, it was very quiet. Where I knock some stars back is that the chicken I got was a little over cooked and the shrimp was also over cooked. The person I came with had salmon and I could tell it was overcooked Bang bang shrimp and calamari were good, the dipping sauces were a little salty for my taste but great service

The crust was thick and crispy, with plenty of sauce and flavor. We ordered a 14" pizza for the two of us and still had half left over, which I was actually happy about because we got to enjoy it again later! The wood-fired pizza at the table next to us looked even better, though, so I'll definitely be trying that next time. Our server was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials, which made the experience even better. There are also plenty of seating options, including outdoor, bar, and indoor seating. AMBIANCE - situated on one of the main drags of downtown, this place definitely had a college staple vibe to it, though we did see a number of families in here while we were dining. Adequate seating and fairly clean, I can see this place getting packed during the school year. SERVICE - people working the counter were very friendly, and made a few recommendations on which slices we should try. While we did stray from some of their recommendations, they got our order out hot and fast. MENU - I love pizza joints like this - sell by slice with a number of both classic and creative takes on pizza. They also have rotating special slices. I think we just missed their July 4th specials, but they had plenty of other options to choose from. FOOD - we ended up going with a macaroni and cheese slice, as well as a bbq chicken ranch pizza. considering my kids had just eaten a meal, you would have never known as they finished the majority of both slices. While the bbq chicken was good, the star was the mac and cheese pizza. My one son declared this the best thing he had in Madison ("that's high praise"). OVERALL - definitely worth a stop if you got a pizza hankering. $4-6 bucks a slice? make sure to try a few and see which one you like best. CELEBRITY RATING - Michael Cera

As with their Garver location there were about a dozen pies to choose from - most of them are a bit too weird for my taste so I just stuck with a classic like pepperoni and mushroom. Though reheated the large slices were very tasty. $5-$6 a slice. They also have salads and some other snack items. Unlike at Garver they do not have beer - makes sense given the State Street location - I am sure they do this to reduce their headaches. A good slice at a good price.

When you walk in, you place your order at the counter, and bring an order number to your table. I'm on the search for the best pizza in Madison, and Novanta made it pretty high on my list. I'm a huge fan of pizzas baked in stone ovens, and I was not disappointed by Novanta's ovens, which were imported from Italy. The staff was very friendly! With 2 Wood fire pizza ovens and an open kitchen concept, this place was it for me. Pizza: personal size, got the Salsiccia ($13) which was delicious. Crust was amazing, thin but scrumptious. Service: it was empty when I went at 2 and you order and pay first even if dining in. A lady (I believe her name was Lugenia?) was manning the front. Had to ask for napkins and asked for a cup of water. Got the napkins and an empty cup, water never showed up, no explanation. An elderly white couple showed up afterwards and they got the whole speech, come to find out (by eavesdropping) that there's a water fountain in the back. Well now I'm glad I tipped for no service at all. As I was leaving, a young lad was changing shifts with her and he seemed very friendly and thanked me for coming in. So maybe I just got unlucky with the service because he seemed a lot chipper. Parking: in the back, make a right at the light after passing the bagels shop. TLDR: come for the great pizza, but service could probably be a hit or miss. Takeout pizza would be amazing here.

We started eating it within minutes, outside, but it was just a mess. The square slices are a bit weird but not the end of the world. The soggy bottom was a real problem though. It wasn't like the pizza had been sitting steaming for half an hour, it was less than 5 min from when someone handed us the box. I also wasn't particularly impressed with the double crust/sauce - which I wanted because the menu says thin crust and I like pizza with enough chewy crust to feel like I'm actually eating something. The part underneath the toppings felt like standard crust though, while the thick part was heftier (although strangely puffed because it's 2 layers). The toppings themselves were just ok, not all that flavorful. I'm not sure what went wrong with the crust since even in the restaurant it would come out on a pan. Maybe their double crust just doesn't work?
