    Mac and Cheese Pizza Slice
    Sofia E.

Didn't expect much from a pizza chain with pasta on top of their slices, but that was my mistake. The mac n' cheese pizza was bomb. I thought it would be soggy or too cheesy, but it was neither. The crust held up like a champ and was even crispy. The mac was just right. I regret not trying another flavor, but at least I got some fresh breadsticks with stellar marinara sauce. I'll be back here next time I'm in Madison.

Such a Madison staple you must try. The Mac and cheese pizza is the best! And for a sweet treat the puppy chow is amazing!

Super good! We got to try 4 different slices. Great service, people are super nice and helpful. Mac and cheese: 8/10, great crust, super cheesy, has a white sauce. Pretty balanced and not too doughy-starchy. I would eat right away Bbq chicken: 8.5:10, good! Sweet, savory, has a tiny kick. Potato cheese: 5/10, not my favorite but still hits. There's too much chewiness but the flavors are great. Needs more texture Burger: 8/10 SO YUMMY! It has a tang, has a lot of crunch to it and bits of meat.

Yummy pizza after a drinking-filled night at the piano bar next door. Service was fast. Bathrooms semi-clean. Friendly people.

Really yummy casual spot for big pizza slices. I shared 3 slices with my mom and we were stuffed. Shockingly, my favorite was the spinach feta pizza. BBQ chicken was a close second. The Mac and cheese pizza was a must since it's Wisconsin and definitely hit the spot. All the pizza slices were crispy and oozing with cheese. The slices are simply heated and then served, which makes the process real fast. I would come back if I'm ever back in Madison!

Stopped in for a slice of pizza in the afternoon. The service was quick, you order in line and the pizza is heated up in an oven and ready for pickup at the counter within a couple minutes. Both slices were dense, hearty, and definitely unique flavors. College spot vibe upscale and modern.

A casual spot with really good mac n cheese pizza. Quick and fast, can't go wrong. The cheese sauce flavour really comes out

Lunch time and wanting a snack, I found Ian's and thankfully, they sell pizza by the slice. Since this is Wisconsin, it's got to be cheese and cheese and more cheese, so I opted for the pizza with macaroni and cheese on top. Sounds weird, tastes awesome. While enjoying my slice, I found a power outlet nearby and was able to stuff some juice into my phone. A double win. Friendly service, great pizza, lots of options. All veg, vegan, add pepperoni (so dairy free).

I tried Ian's Pizza on a whim, and I'm really glad I did. I have a hard time with dairy, and I was happy when I found a local pizza joint that offers dairy-free cheese. I decided to order the "All Veg" with pepperoni and vegan cheese, and it was delicious. There were a ton of veggies on it, probably 2-3 servings on a small, and the crust was also really, really good too. The size of the pizza was also a good value for the price. I ate this pizza as I was driving home to Minneapolis, but I did appreciate the interior; it has the sort of ambiance that pizza places did in the 90's, and it's definitely kid friendly. They also have a small outdoor area. Service was fast and friendly. All in all, a great pizza place in Madison, especially if you are dairy free or vegan.

This is the drunk food of Madison, period. This place is incredible. Highly highly recommend the bbq chicken slice. The pic is from my first time going when I tried the Mac slice, after having been, I only get the bbq chicken, I almost think it's a homemade bbq sauce it's that good(middle and right slices are both bbq chicken)

We went here after watching a Mo' Amer comedy show atcomedy on State. Pros: No wait time Great price AMAZING PIZZA Cons: None Even if you are not a meat eater, they have a great options for veggie especially the mac & cheese pizza, and the potato with ranch. My absolute favorite was the buffalo chicken pizza, it does have a bit of spice to it. Overall, we can't wait to be back.

Update: I returned here for an in person experience before a comedy event at the Orpheum just down the block. We had a salad, split some pizza, had sodas. The slices are undoubtedly huge, we were very full. I was surprised at how good the salad was, pizza places are not always great with a delicious salad. The place was HOPPIN -- it's a popular college town pizza joint. The seating is first come first serve, a little tight with people close by, but we would absolutely return.

Whatever you guys did to the breadsticks today was unreal. Crispy, not doughy like usual--seriously amazing. Please don't change that.

I don't see gluten feee pizza listed? Do they make a gluten free crust?

Yes. I've seen signs inside that indicate they will make a pizza special for a person. A friend of ours has a child and when we've had pizza at Ian's with them, he kid gets his own. The pizzas in the main display aren't gluten free because most… Read more

I was absolutely stunned when I walked into this restaurant and saw all of their holiday decorations. It was beautiful! We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table, then headed up the stairs to be seated at a half circle booth for eight people. It was very tight, so we asked for a chair to be placed on the end which definitely made the seating arrangement better. However, the one spot on the end seemed as if the cushion part was missing from where people had been sitting, so that was not comfortable, and it should be replaced. The service was outstanding and I'm sorry I forgot to note our server's name. I ordered the chips and salsa, which was delicious. I had to question whether the salsa was indeed vegan since it seemed creamy. Thankfully it was vegan! For the entrée, I ordered a vegan mozzarella cheese pizza with mushrooms and spinach. It did not disappoint! The crust was amazing; I appreciate that it wasn't too salty. The tomato sauce was incredible. Everybody had a great time and Lucille's was the absolutely perfect place for this special occasion.

What a complete joke. Do not go unless you eat crap like that waste of money. VERY DISAPPOINTED manager wouldn't even come to talk to us about our 1st and last ever experience at Lucilles

This visit was a reminder of when they get it right it's incredible. But in truth, the previous two visits, they failed at this, due primarily (how I chose to justify the error) because they were very busy on those two consecutive visits on a Friday night during a dinner rush. That was early last June, which I recall because it happened to have been my sisters birthday. I was let down enough that I didn't want to return for the foreseeable future. In May it happened the first time which I figured as a forgivable mistake. Last night I just wanted pizza and it had to be done in the way that I prefer. Plus I had earlier this week noticed that the University Ave location had closed down, which I learned when I asked, had happened in June as well. But this visit was not to be a sorry decision. Because they were slow, maybe at 40% capacity I was surprised when my pizza came out well before I was expecting it. At first peek, it looked great in the box. 27min later at home it was no longer hot but it smelled amazing. It also looked incredibly well made. Perfectly consistent spotting of the high gluten doughs edging and the texture was precisely what I was hoping for. Pulcinella is the usual pie that I always get, with added roasted garlic. Often I also request prosciutto as well but this time I wanted the pure basic taste I've come to adore.

They were both good, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the Lombarda. If it had Apricot Glaze, it wasn't very noticable, and maybe was the reason that it needed a bit of salt to enhance the toppings. The CSMO was very flavorful, and clearly the better of the two. Service: Super friendly and helpful service, both when ordering and when the food was delivered.
