Came here for cute brunch on a hot summer day with my big sis- and I can definitely say that Bondhouse is a must try in the Baltimore area! I'm a sucker for aesthetically pleasing restaurants and Bondhouse is definitely super cute! I love how chic the space is and we were immediately greeted with a friendly staff and excellent customer service. Our lovely waitress Maddie was a pleasure. I ordered a cute summery drink which was sooooo refreshing!! I also tried the cornbread skillet which came out nice and hot! Amazing taste but it was a bit too overdone for me as I like cornbread to be a bit soft- however, it was still great! My big sis had the mussels and I've never had mussels a day in my life, but it came out smelling really good and big sis convinced me to try it out. The mussels were AMAZING!! As a first time mussels eater and not a big seafood fan, I must say the mussels at Bondhouse were 10/10. Flavor was impeccable! I will only eat mussels from here lol. Overall I truly enjoyed this place and I will be back for happy hour!!

Bondhouse HH again for the Win!! This time I brought friends, and a wonderful time was had. Our server Maddie was amazing. She was so friendly, kind and personable. They had an event going on to support local animals which was really cool . They had a special menu dedicated and tailored just for the event, I loved it. Paws on the Patio, so cute. I ordered a signature mocktail that was made from fresh lemon and lavender topped with club soda. Very refreshing and tasty. Loved it lol I had the Farmers Salad - Spring mix green , strawberries, blueberries, walnuts, with a bomb vinaigrette. So good . I added shrimp for protein... it was fire. I was still kinda hungry so I decided to try their Buerre Blanc Mussels... best mussels I've had in a very long time. Hats - off to the chef , she or he mastered this Beurre Blanc Sauce , my goodness! It was addictive lol can't wait to have those again. It may just be my fav thing on the menu. I'll definitely be back for another HH!

Dinner here was mouthwatering. There was lump crab in each and every bite of the Crab Dip. The consistency was perfectly creamy, and the flavor was nothing short of delicious. The Fish & Chips did not disappoint. They are probably my favorite potato wedges ever.We started our meal with a bottle of wine and each ended with a cocktail (From Point A to Point B). Our server was attentive and made great suggestions. Side Note: I know it seems weird to go to a restaurant and talk about their ketchup, but I believe they make it in house because its like nothing I've tasted before.

Solid experience at bondhouse! I went for a brunch graduation party, so the bar in the back room was reserved for the celebration. Service was great, and the space was very nice. The crab omelet was one of the best I've had in a while...or maybe one of the best ever! Lump crab meat, corn, spinach, cheddar cheese, covered in the star of the show - the old bay aioli. I smashed in like 12.7 seconds, then got a side of the aioli to polish off the taters too!

Stumbled upon this place on our morning stroll. Place was packed but we snagged a seat at the bar. Placed an order quickly, but sadly the food took long. Had we had plans after, it would have been frustrating. Thankfully we had nothing planned. We waited about 40 minutes for food. Not sure if they forgot, or if they were backed up. The server acknowledged how long it took and comped my drink. The food aside from the wait was good and filling. Enjoyed it but not sure if I'd come back knowing it takes so long. Nice to try and experience once. The place was decorated very cute.

Came here for Sunday Brunch with coworkers today. I got the French Toast platter, which came with eggs, hashbrown & bacon. Everything was delicious. The menu has plenty of options We got mango and pineapple Mimosas for the table. They were tasty the place has a nice ambience with a farmhouse feel to it. You make a reservation and they give you 1 1/2 hour. I get why they do it, however felt kind of rushed. Overall still a great experience. You will enjoy.

Stopped by looking for a quick bite. Super welcoming and clean atmosphere. Food was top notch, Crab Balls and Cornbread are great. Waiters are really attentive, great service. Do recommend!

This place was fancy. And they had wine at 25$ for a bottle. I had a beef rib and fries it was very good. The service was great and the food was very fresh. The one complaint was that a rat ran into the bench I was sitting at. That definitely curbed my appetite.

The farmer's salad with grilled chicken was excellent!

Stopped in on a random Wednesday night and it turns out Wednesdays are trivia night. It was a great time! We sat at the bar and were promptly attended to by the responsive bartenders. My guest had the thyme cocktail and found it "complex, refreshing, and fascinating"--her words lol. For my part, I had the farmer's salad with grilled chicken. It was so delightful that it didn't feel like I was being healthy. The ambiance is warm and inviting and every staff member was exceedingly friendly. I'd come back!

The restaurant had a welcoming feel. We went for a late brunch on a Sunday afternoon as one of us wanted breakfast and the other a sandwich/burger. The food was very well prepared, presented, and tasty. Wish the weather was warmer to enjoy the cute outdoor area. While the service was good, I don't like that they add 20% gratuity. Would recommend.

This place was within walking distance from where we were staying, so we gave it a try. Nice vibe.. Good music.. The people were super nice.. The food was good.. All equal an A+ experience

The vibes in here were amazing. The music, the decor, and the clientele were all just welcoming. I advise you to make a reservation if you want seating. It gets packed and they have limited seating at the bar. My family and I stared with The Closer drink. They were amazing. My dad enjoyed the French Toast Meal with bacon, potatoes and sunny side up eggs. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits with a side of Crab Mac and cheese. My partner enjoyed the crab balls with a double shot of Casamigos Tequila Reposado. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the bartenders. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu options.

How have I not heard of this place before? Food was amazing, service was great, presentation A+, and our server and the owner Ahmed were awesome. The only thing that wasn't phenomenal was the parking, but that's Fells on a Friday for you. I had a dinner with a group of 10 and we had a booth in the corner. This place would be a great happy hour or date spot! My drink was set on fire! I can't remember the name of it, but it was spectacular. The baked Mac and cheese appetizer was to die for. It was crispy, buttery, and had that oven-charred taste that I loooove. Crab balls are basically tiny crab cakes with no filler. Amazing. I loved my short rib pasta! It was so juicy and the meat just fell apart. Portion was huge too so I had dinner for the next day. The best dessert was definitely the bread pudding. I can't say I've had this much fun at a restaurant in a long time. Way to go, Bondhouse!

    Loaded Tots were absolutely delicious!

The service from the bartenders was not so great or welcoming. When I asked about the espresso martini and asked for it without lavender, the bartender made way too big of a deal. The espresso martini is pre-made. I opted for a vodka soda and it was pretty hard to drink. The menu feels limited. They do not have pineapple, Red Bull, or many other popular mixes. Positively, prices are very good, especially compared to the other bars in the area. There's a back area, sort of like a dinning room, with little booths for those wishing for some privacy. The red lights gives the bar that good old 1920s (prohibition) feel. I felt at any moment the authorities would swing through the door forcing us to hide our drinks. **Wild thoughts** Kyle made a cocktail he's "been working on" and he needs to put that shxt on the menu asap! So delicious. It was late night and I stayed here about an hour (closed the spot ha) and I was able to enjoy a mini impromptu concert by another patron Ebony, as Kyle was sweet enough to play some of her music. All in all, a perfect end to my evening. High recommendation for Rye. The End.

No bartender in sight, no other patrons, no background noise. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we were in the right place. The bar is down a flight of stairs, tucked into the basement, and it's notable because it's Fells Point's only and possibly first basement bar, which already gives it serious character points. We waited near the bar for a few minutes, heard nothing, saw no one, and eventually started heading back up the stairs to leave. That's when Steve, the bartender, literally came after usnot in a weird way, but in a very human, "Hey! Sorry about that, I was in the stock room come back in!" way. And honestly? From that moment on, the experience completely flipped. Steve was phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the place. He's worked there for 18 years, and once we sat down, he turned the bar into a living history lesson. He shared stories about Fells Point, Baltimore, Edgar Allan Poe, the building itself, and all the ghost stories tied to the space. He also told us about the celebrities who've passed through, including the fun detail that Blake Shelton once sat in the very bar stool I was sitting in and ordered a Bullet bourbon. Naturally, that kind of trivia just adds to the charm. Drink-wise, I ordered an Angry Orchard, and my friend had a single Tito's with cranberry and soda water. Our total was $26.16, which feels pretty standard for Baltimore definitely not cheap, but not shocking either. The bar itself is small, intimate, and packed with atmosphere exposed brick, low ceilings, and that cozy, historic, slightly haunted vibe you hope for in a basement bar. It's also connected to The William Fell Inn hotel through a separate entrance, which makes it feel like a hidden secret rather than a tourist stop. We loved the history, the stories, the ghosts, the setting and especially Steve. Being the only patrons that night was actually a gift, because it let us really soak it all in. That said, we're absolutely planning to come back on a busy night to see how the energy shifts when it's full. If you love historic bars, good storytelling, and places that feel like they've seen things Anchor Bar is a must. ‍

It starts with a regular old fashioned, then once you've sipped out about an inch, they put a bunch of herbs on top and light them on fire with a kitchen torch. The result is a whole second cocktail experience. Well worth the $21. They also serve food, and if you're not sure what you're in the mood for, you are in luck - they serve food from both restaurants upstairs, Duck Duck Goose and Osteria Pirata. This is an old school basement bar with the decor and lighting to match. It is not a highly polished, brand new speakeasy with mood lighting. This place has been mixing cocktails behind the same wooden bar since flared jeans were in fashion the first time. Definitely worth a stop. The bartender, Steve, is a real treat. He wouldn't tell us any ghost stories, but did tell us that this is potentially one of the most haunted places in town.
