The roasted pork, in particular, stood out to me. It had a satisfying crunch, and it's not something I see very often at other bánh mì shops. I'm usually pretty selective when it comes to bánh mì, but this place exceeded my expectations. I specifically let him know ahead of time that my mom would be picking up the order on Friday. When Friday came, my mom contacted me at work because there was confusion about the pickup date. She was told the order was supposed to be ready the following day, even though I had clearly ordered it for Friday. Another employee apparently told her they could prepare the order in about 20 minutes. This became a bigger issue because the event was scheduled for 11:30 AM, and the order was supposed to be picked up at 10:45 AM specifically to allow enough time to bring everything to the event. Because of the confusion and delay, the food was not ready as planned, which delayed the actual event. As the person hosting the birthday event, it was frustrating and honestly brought down my mood because I was trying to make sure everything went smoothly for everyone. Unfortunately, when my mom picked up the egg rolls, she found that they were crispy on the outside but not fully cooked inside. They also weren't as crispy as expected. It seemed like the order was rushed to get it prepared quickly. To make matters worse, we were not even given any dipping sauce for the egg rolls.
