Single greatest experience I have ever had in a golf shop, be it corporate or private. I finally went in to get new clubs. The staff were knowledgeable, patient and fair. When I say fair I mean honest. I was steered away from a very expensive upsell on a shaft for my irons Bob pointed out that I was hitting the less expensive steel shaft really well and that the only thing the carbon fiber shaft would do was jack up the price of each iron by about $75.00. During my fitting I would ask what they thought about the club I was trying out. Their answer was always, " what do you think, how does it feel to you?" no one tried to steer me to a more expensive product, it was always about what was right for me. The club fitting was successful, the follow up service is phenomenal. I love my new clubs. My game is better than ever. read more

Bogey Bobs is by far and away my favorite golf shop in Ventura County - and I have been to them all. Bob cares about your game, and it shows. No pressure sales, high quality products, and his instruction in one session has improved my game 10 strokes. He fixed my irons from a botched job over at the indoor bunker. I highly recommend Bogey Bob's and will definitely be coming back. read more

Nice hole in the wall place. Lots of clubs to choose from. Bob even took the time to speak to me about hybrid clubs.

Never golfed before so a buddy of mine recommended me to come see Bob. From the moment I arrived to the moment I paid Bob gave me his undivided attention. Bought a ready nice Taylormade iron set at a good price. He even took the time to show me a couple of fundamentals. This is the only shop I'll be coming too. Highly recommended! read more

Bogey Bob was great, fitted me for a new set of Irons, and got a bonus fixes my swing. Thanks my friend, can't wait till the clubs are in.

Bob not only knows his stuff, but it a low pressure situation when you walk in. He doesn't want you to buy the most expensive or more than you need, simply he gives you options and hopes you love the game as much as he does. Based on his recommendations I bought a great set of M6 irons, had them fitted and it has made my game so much better. Bob simply knows and he's happy to share that knowledge with you. read more

I went in to see if my fathers old clubs were still useable totally expecting to be be up-sold into a new set of clubs. After a through explanation the clubs I had and what has changed since these cubs were top of the line I was told that what I had was still good I was offered a series of fixes and upgrades that were considerably cheaper than a new set. I was pleasantly surprised! Once we decided on what to update right away (grips and lengths on irons and a new driver) which was well within my price range, we made a plan for what was next and he even told me what to look for when I am at the range next time so if needed, I could come back for free adjustments! They have definitely earned my business and I will be going back for all my golf needs (and wants)! read more

I very rarely write glowing reviews for establishments, but Bob at Bogey Bob's is one of the best and most effective customer-service business individuals I have ever encountered. I have been in there several times with various issues and needs, and he has met and exceeded them every time. Along with his unparalleled knowledge and contacts in the business, it is a no-brainer that his will be the only place I will go from now on for new gear, repairs, and just plain good advice. read more

Love the vibe in this place. I imagine it is the closest golf shop to the new Mecca of instruction--Westlake Village golf range--thanks to George Gankas and Chris Como. They gripped my clubs and did a great job and they got it done when they said they would and for a fair price. I'll definitely go back. I'd rather give them my money than some megastore. read more
