A quick browse to see what else they had in stock for clubs and sorts. There's a good selection, the other employees were friendly asking if we need anything. Layout of store was kind of everything all together. Even though they had things in their department, it still felt like it was all together. I believe this was the same store as the one across the street but now at a new location. Seems a bit smaller. Overall, they did have a good selection on some things while others were a hit or miss.

We decided to get all three clubs and Drew helped us find a reasonable putter. He really encouraged me. I have recently taken a lesson and played a small par 3 course and would like to keep trying. Drew explained that if I want a full beginner set of clubs to bring back the ones I purchased within 90 days for a full store credit to be used for a set of clubs. You then have 1 year to upgrade that set with a full refund/store credit. They really encourage everyone giving golf a chance, which I find very enlightening. So far all my golfing experiences have been good and Drew and this Roger Dunn Golf Shop are on the top of the list.

Right away, Jim took the time to explain how everything works and walked me through the different club options, including the pros and cons of each. Even though the store was very busy with a lot of customers, he never made me feel rushed and took great care of me throughout the entire process. What I appreciated most was that he never tried to upsell me or push me toward the most expensive clubs. Instead, he genuinely listened to what I needed and recommended the set that was the best fit for me. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. The iron set that we landed on came with a tighter dispersion pattern, increased carry, and smaller rollout (all the things I was looking for) Driver was fitted as well and we ended up finding the fairways and with more carry with the Ping G430 10k Max driver and Ventus blue Ts 50g S shaft. The head did not secure on the shaft. Also, the shaft on my irons did not line perfectly on the shaft which is a bad thing. You guys did a bad job of the clubs. During lessons Ayumi educated me on my golf swing, how it should change, and taught me to self-analyze problems that arise. Everything was very methodical and understandable...which I needed. I am now 62, have significant arthritis in my elbows, and was concerned I wouldn't be able to keep playing golf with my rapidly worsening home-brew swing. Ayumi has given me the knowledge to keep playing, my handicap which was 20 and heading up at the start of last year is now 14.8 and trending down.
