Chad and his business partner (Dan) helped my son assessing his driver fit. Their assessment was honest and encouraged my son not to 'just' get a new driver but to improve critical aspects of his golf swing. Then suggested to return for another assessment in 2 months. All together the assessment lasted about 1 hr. Thanks Chad!

I was reffered to the Bunker by a great friend. I'm average golfer and had really hold clubs. Chad and Dan were amazing! They helped me get the right clubs and I can tell you it's an amazing difference. My game has improved dramatically. Their customer service and attention to the client is top notch. If you want to improve your game and get high end quality and service this is the place. You MUST try them.

    Custom grind, Terminator style.

The guys down at The Bunker know their stuff; be it equipment, golf-specific fitness, swing lessons or dialing in your clubs. I love crushing my driver and checking out the back-spin and launch angle for maximum distance. Dan did a custom grind (from 8 to 4 bounce) & polish (Terminator style) on my 60 degree so I could hit crisp flop shots around Olivas Links.

Great source for custom club fitting. Seth was great and he fitted me for a driver, hybrid, irons and putter

I came in to exchange a pair of FootJoy golf shoes I bought here one week ago. I didn't have my receipt on me, so the associate scanned the shoes to look up the "lowest selling price." Their system came back with $19 for shoes I paid $110 for days earlier. When I asked how that number made any sense, no one could explain it. No price history, no verification, no transparency just "that's what the system says." I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, just a fair exchange based on the actual purchase price. The part that pushed me to write this review was the manager's response. Instead of helping or even acknowledging the issue, he told me that leaving a review "wouldn't make a difference." That's not just dismissive, it's unprofessional. He said he wouldn't even consider making an exception because I had dropped the F-Bomb in reference to their insane store policy and ridiculous lowball valuation. He also demanded that I apologize to the associate for using the F word. For the record, I found my receipt and will be returning the shoes properly. But the principle matters. If their system is generating inaccurate "lowest selling prices," that affects more than just me. I'll be filing formal complaints with the appropriate agencies so this doesn't get brushed aside. I'm sharing this so other customers know what to expect if they try to make an even exchange without a receipt. A $110 purchase shouldn't magically turn into $19 because a system says so and a manager shouldn't act like customer feedback is meaningless.

My experience was disappointing from start to finish, and it was absolutely not worth the time or the money. First issue: misleading pricing on the website. The website advertises $26 twilight golf, which already sounded suspiciously cheap. I called the pro shop to confirm, and the employee told me "yes, that's the twilight rate." What was not mentioned is that this price is walking only. Once you add a cart, the actual price jumps significantly. My 1:40 pm tee time ended up costing $44 per person, and because I brought my girlfriend, that became $88 total--nearly double what the website implies. Second issue: confusing and inconsistent policies. At check-in, I asked management if there was a cheaper option or if we could just play nine holes. I was told no, you must pay for all 18. I was then told, "You can golf as long as you can see the ball." No one mentioned any cutoff time, curfew, or requirement to be back by a certain hour. picture below of when Told " we don't allow glow in the dark golf balls " by the time you hit that is the time you should go " So we played. By the 14th hole, it was not even dark yet, and we were using glow-in-the-dark balls. Suddenly, a manager (or supervisor) with a mustache drove up and aggressively told us we had to leave immediately--not asking, not explaining, just ordering us off the course in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. The tone was hostile, condescending, and completely unprofessional. There was zero attempt to communicate respectfully or clarify policy. Third issue: course conditions were terrible. * Greens were rough and poorly maintained * Tee boxes were beat up * Fairways had large brown patches * Balls constantly landed on hard dirt instead of grass This course does not justify the price, especially considering the attitude and lack of customer service. Bottom line: If you live in Thousand Oaks or the Conejo Valley and are thinking about driving 45 minutes out here because you think you're getting a deal--don't do it. Stay local. Courses like Los Robles or Lake Lindero are far better maintained, and the staff actually treats golfers with respect. I will never play here again, and I do not recommend this course to anyone

I made an appointment for 10:30AM with Steve and drove the 1hr to get this fitting started. Fitting-I think we started 10 mins late as he was finishing up with another client. He did check up on me when i arrived and let me know we would be getting started soon. Friendly guy, asked what i was trying to accomplish and we started trying some things. I made the mistake of saying i wanted to try more players irons which ended up scratching all the game improvement irons. We tested a few combos and decided that my current set was best. Next we moved on to the Driver. We tried 3 different manufacturers and ended up with a Ping G430. We then checked out my 5w and also a 4H since I struggle to hit my long irons. We didn't mess with my 5w and ended up on a paradym 4H. The fitting itself was fine but i was disappointed because the site makes it seem like they'll show you video and tell you all these details which will help you make the best decision but instead it felt like a really dialed down experience. Hit stuff, check some number, move on. I never really got any big feedback, "spin is here with this club, we really want to bring this down" or just different shaft combinations, all the new heads etc. One of the main reasons I came here was because they advertise how they have all the latest from the biggest manufacturers but we only tried a couple. Maybe my swing is just not great or Maybe steve is just dialed in that trying other things just wasn't going to do much. Maybe it's up to me to ask that we try everything they have to offer? either way I wasn't mad about the fittings. Steve only charged me as if fitting driver, which I assume is because that's what we spent the most time on. Overall I'd say we spent 1 hour on the fitting and , while not fully satisfied, i was fine with it. Where my rating comes from is they buying of clubs and after. I ended up purchasing a callaway 4H and a Ping driver on 5/27. I understood that Monday was a holiday and Steve said it usually takes 2 weeks to get the clubs. I was hoping to get tracking since my clubs were going to ship to work. I emailed Steve a week after and no response. A few days later I called and he said that they normally don't do tracking but since i was in santa maria, he'd follow up and send it once he received it. 2 weeks rolled by and nothing, I e-mailed again and no response. Finally I emailed one more time asking if there had been a delay or if something was on backorder, and if it was to cancel the order because i could get the clubs locally. There was nothing custom except the grips. I understand the supply chain can be crazy right now but the lack of communication was unacceptable, in my opinion. It takes 2 mins to say "working on it no shipping yet" or something. Maybe my 2 clubs wasn't that important to care about? I finally got my driver on the same day, I had sent this last email, and packing slip said the club was ordered on 6/10. A few days later i received my hybrid and said 6/8 order date. Not sure what happened, if they were too busy and took a week to place the order or if the packing slips were wrong but the lack of communication was a deal breaker for me. I'm in sales myself and understand that work can get crazy but to be unresponsive for 2 weeks and just ignore e-mails is unacceptable. I'll be staying local with all my golf needs.

~ GOLF WITHOUT THE ALLERGIES? I'M IN! ~…read more SVN2 is a great spot for a date, hanging out with friends, celebrating a birthday, or even just having fun solo! I'm not really into golf, but my partner is, so when I first heard about a golf simulator where you hit balls into a giant screen, I didn't expect much. But I was totally surprised! The space is modern and tech-forward, with everything digitally set up. There's no receptionist, but the troubleshooting is quick if you need help. When you book a session, you get a code for entry. As soon as you walk in, it has a trendy, chill vibe. There's a lobby area with chairs, drinks for purchase (sodas/sports drinks), and a TV to pass the time. The venue has four bays (three open and one private), each with a small bar table and stools for seating. There's also a bathroom towards the back labeled the 19th hole. They provide free sets of clubs to use (for all skill levels, both men and women), though most people bring their own. Setting up on the computer is easy, and the technology behind the simulators is seriously impressive, with motion-sensing lidar cameras that track your shots pretty accurately. You get your own player profile, and you can set the skill level-- beginner for me! Each bay also has a TV, so you can play music or watch something while you play. Even though I didn't end up playing all 18 holes, there wasn't a moment where I wasn't entertained - I'd say great if you want to get your partner into your hobby, ha. There's different tiered memberships that you can join and we also saw that there was a league, which I thought was a pretty cool concept. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and it was a fun experience, we will definitely be back! It's super affordable and fun, so I highly recommend checking it out! *HOT TIP: They have golfballs there for use, but if you want to bring your own they need to be new, not scuffed, so it won't damage the screen. **HOTTER TIP: While it's not advertised, you can bring your own food/...other adult bevs your time here ;).
