Been coming here for years but recently came for a visit under the new ownership of MB Tactical. Still all the great variety of size and distance targets for any level of experience. Arrived last week to gain some more knowledge from my fav range master Tom. His patience and skill level is impressive. He is constantly sharing tips to help me improve. With his help, my compression of firearms has completely broadened, from maintenance to new types of pistols I'd never heard of. I plan my range visits on days I know he will be there because his teachings are something I truly value. It's pretty amazing to know that it wasn't long ago this was just a "fun once in awhile activity," and now, because of this range master, I'm entwined into this whole new level of firearms and firearm safety. Highly recommend! Best range I've been to! I had the pleasure of working with RSO Tom, who was so knowledgeable, calm, and kind! As a beginner, I've been struggling with pistol accuracy and consistency; within 5 minutes, Tom identified my problem, we ran some dry firing drills and I improved immensely! By the end, I was able to hit 5/5 of the steel target at 50 yards with my pistol, a result I could not have imagined. Everyone else I met at the range had been super friendly and helpful! The range is very clean and well organized and run. The view is beautiful too. I do recommend wearing a hat or sunglasses, the sun could be bright. Will be back next weekend! read more

Was here just this morning. This is my most favorite outdoor shooting range. The targets go all the way to 1000 yards, not that I can engage those further than 500, but with the help of their friendly staff, I am getting better. Tom helped me sight in my AR15 and even torqued the scope down (thought I did that prior to coming) and once that was done, I was out plinking man-sized metal plates out to 300 yards in no time. Awesome Range! Owners and range officers are great. Great courses of fire and shooting facilities. We went to their first PRS rimfire match here last weekend and look forward to coming to many more! Awesome place to come shoot. First off, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Some places make you feel uncomfortable, but MB Tactical's staff were very cool and explained everything to make my visit a memorable one. I come here twice a month to do practical shooting in the other bays. I decided to visit MB Tactical and use their 1000 yard range and the steel gallery. It was so much fun and I am so glad I found a home range I can come to on a regular basis to target shoot, practice and compete. Great place to take your family. Have been a couple times now. Going to shoot here again today. Definitely recommend its good spot for distance shooting or even just plinking with pistols and 22s. My boyfriend took me shooting today for what was my second time. I was a little nervous but still eager to give it go. When we arrived Victor, one of the associates greeted us and was very friendly and personable. He told us what's allowed in the range and what's not and cracked a few jokes with us. A few minutes later we were greeted by Tom, who was kind enough to let me shoot his Glock, which was smaller than my boyfriend's and better for my hand size but then, he let me shoot his 22 which was really fun and was giving us both pointers while we were there. We really appreciated having that extra support to make our time, but mostly mine, fun at that shooting range and indeed it was so. We definitely will be coming back soon and thank you gentlemen for looking out. read more

What a shame. Another new owner and new higher prices. It already sucks trying to be a gun enthusiast in CA with all the rules and restrictions. But to have this range complex keep raising its prices, is a kick in the nuts to the 2A community. $300 to rent a small private bay for 4 hrs?? I used to pay $10 to use the bays (first come, first served) when I was a member of the X3 Multigun club. Now it's a ripoff. Greed wins again! read more

Formerly known as California Tactical. This range was just purchased by 2 really great guys. They have begun investing much needed time, love and money into improving the grounds. The prior owner neglected the area and allowed nature to consume it. However, the new owners are deeply invested into making this range great again. This was my first time at this range and I really don't have enough good things to say about it. The range itself is fun but the staff are definitely what makes this place so great, everyone was so friendly and there was absolutely no judgement or pressure. Tom was especially great, I don't have a lot of experience with handguns so I lacked a lot of confidence and was pretty reserved to shoot. 5 minutes with Tom and my shooting went from 15 feet and all over the target to hitting a silhouette at 70yards. Safe to say I'm feeling so much better about my aim with handguns. read more
