First time I was on Boca to try Magical dinning and it was such an incredible experience, the ambiance is so eleant and rustic feel The food for magical dinning was amazing, best of the best. For our appetizer we choose the lobster wontons and the brie apple flatbread. For our main couse we have skirt steak and ginger encrusted salmon. And finally for our dessert we have tres leches and key lime pie. Everything so delicious. Customer service was above and beyond. As you walk in the ladies at the front are so friendly as well as our service always asking if everything was good.. make sure you make a reservation since they get busy. Boca may be towards the end of Park avenue in Winter Park but it is a must go in the area for lunch, dinner and brunch! The food is amazing, the restaurant feels cozy and the staff is attentive and friendly. I went to Boca for a holiday team lunch and we couldn't have chosen a better place to go. We had a table for seven towards the back of the restaurant, so this is a great place for a large group. The back area is large with high ceilings and natural light. If you would like to seat near the front it is also pretty with natural light and breeze and close to the bar. A little louder since it is closer to the street. The food was fantastic. Most of the group went for the OMG Burger and it was delicious. It came with truffle fries, the perfect combo. Other orders included the spinach & goat cheese salad, scampi style seafood pasta and the ginger encrusted salmon. Everyone loved their food. For appetizers, we got the fried green tomatoes, brussel sprouts, parmesan truffle fries and grandma's flatbread. The only small issue we had was that soda machine wasn't working so there was no carbonation in the sodas we ordered. We got a heads up and decided to still give ir a try. Ultimately, we returned the soda because it was flat. We had no issues with the return. Overall, this is a great restaurant. The price and food portions were good too. Plus they have Coke products. My fiance and I LOVE this place for lunch. We have come multiple times, and everytime we are immediately seated without a wait or reservation. The ambiance is modern and clean, and they have great outdoor seating. I go for the pick 2 during lunch, and I get a flat bread and a salad. The food has been consistent every. single. time. We went to Boca tonight to try the Magical Dining menu (3 courses - appetizer, entree and dessert for $40). We were seated in the front room near the bar and it was LOUD and got progressively louder as more tables filled up. There is a second room, by the restrooms that seemed a little quieter so I would probably ask for that room in the future. Our server was Kat and she was great - very helpful and positive. For our appetizers, we got the Lobster Wontons which are like crab Rangoon but with lobster. You get 5 huge wontons and they were delicious! We also got the conch and shrimp fritters which was also good but smaller. For entrees, we had the Skirt Steak with chimichurri and the pork chop. The skirt steak was really tough and mine was very thin so it didn't have much flavor except for the sauce. The pork chop was gigantic and was fantastic. For dessert we each got something different - chocolate cake, fig and plum gallette and tres leches. The chocolate cake was just okay. It had the orange taste to it but we all thought it would have been better with a filling. The other two desserts were great and large servings. Have been to this location several times. I feel like each visit has been a bit more of a decline each time. The decor was festive for the holidays and the hostesses were friendly and attentive. I ordered butternut gnocchi with grilled chicken added. I expected to have grilled chicken on top or on side. They cubed the chicken and mixed it into the dish - seemed weird. The gnocchi was swimming in the sauce. Somehow none of it had any flavor and the gnocchi was gummy and mushy. The chicken didn't seem fresh at all. And the kicker - there was random shrimp in my dish. It doesn't come with shrimp. That's a dangerous mistake. The server was quick to jump on it and the manager quickly addressed it with me and offered me a new dish - which I didn't take because our party was finishing their meals. The truffle fries were okay. The burger was a bit undercooked, but seemed alright otherwise. The grilled Caesar was a bit soggy. The flavors were good but the greens were too wilted. Tried Butcher's Cut, on this night a NY Strip. It arrived perfectly medium-rare, exactly as ordered. Steak is juicy, tender and delicious! Served on this night with charred broccolini and polenta. An excellent combo, well executed. Others around the table tried short rib tacos, a Southern Caviar burger (pimento cheese, tomato jam, bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickled red onions!) and sweet potato gnocchi. The gnocchi is an unusual prep made with butternut squash and oyster mushrooms. A creamy, earthy taste. Delicious. Ended the meal with a plate of doughnut holes - freshly deep fried to a golden crispy brown and dusted with cinnamon and sugar, served with molten nutella and raspberry compote for dipping. A friend of mine stepped in to Boca last night to grab a quick bite to eat and catch up after attending an event on Park Avenue. We were seated right away and provided drinks and quick service. We started with fried green tomatoes. oh man, these things are delicious. For generously sized tomatoes, fried and some delicious batter covered with bacon and a sauce that I will call heaven for now since it's slipping my mind. I easily could have eaten for myself. These things are amazing! We split a flatbread named The Pig and The Bee. It's tastes exactly how it sounds. Salty and sweet. This is the flattest most delicious flatbread. It has ham, bacon, sausage and a generous amount of honey and cheese. It was a perfect pairing for two ladies. The ambience was perfect and not too loud, allowing us to catch up. We loved our food starting with the crispy and delicious brussel sprouts as well as the chef special crab fondue which was served with crispy thin cut everything bagel "chips". I tried the chef special pappardelle and added shrimp but my husbands entree was way better which was the chimichurri skirt steak with potato bravas. Definitely would order that again. We ended with their donut holes served with different dipping sauces of chocolate/lemon curd/butterscotch. We had to take the chocolate cake home since we were bursting. Now, when I'm just with one other person, I typically go and sit at the bar. On December 26th, we ventured in around 3pm and the bar was pretty busy. Luckily two ladies were settling their bill so we were able to sit down. 2 minutes go by, 5 minutes go by. We still had not had any eye contact from the bartender. I get that it gets busy. I understand she was probably flustered because she was the only bartender to the entire bar, but can you at least greet us? Let us know you'll be right with us? Once she finally got to us, we were able to order our espresso martinis which HOLY COW WERE EXPENSIVE. Goodness, they were like 18 a piece. I've heard of the Boca once before. Sadly it went out of business, but this location is alive and well serving up all sorts of unique dishes in the Winter Park area. Came here for a date night and took a seat at an outdoor table. Not too crowded. Streets were bustling so I opted for a side street table which provided a gentle hum of background noise as the moment froze in time around an elegant menu full of familiar flavors. I began with a cocktail. As of late my alcohol intake has waned, but I'm a sucker for a whiskey sour. This one took a risk with a Cabernet floater. Wine makes many of our problems better so why not a whiskey sour as well? Think again, this was a terrible idea. The Cabernet overpowered the frothy foam of egg white as it attempted to hang onto the mild sour flavor then too was no much for the strong red wine. This was also served on the rocks. I strongly prefer the classic Boston style sour served up in a coupe glass. Fear not! This was my only criticism of the evening. My entree was something of a masterpiece that Bach himself would be captivated by. Sweet Potato Gnocchi is the marriage of two of my favorite foods. Cooked perfectly. Light and doughy with a hint of sweetness provided by the potato and accented with a grilled chicken breast that add a bit more texture to a dish that otherwise was already swaying as gently as the low tide on a remote beach. I don't know how to accurately portray the flavors of the sauce other than perfection on a plate. I also appreciated the attempt to make it a little healthier with some greenery mixed in. This is a favorite of our server and her recommendation was spot on. Ideal for a quick bite or a filling meal anytime you find yourself poking around Winter Park especially if you have a lucky someone to be your plus one. read more

My oh my... this was a delightful experience. We went to Boca for a birthday dinner on a weeknight and were absolutely pleased with the experience! I love this spot as it's right in the heart of Winter Park, allowing for a walkable adventure to local shops pre or post-dinner I had heard so many things about the Lobster Rangoon as an appetizer - and had to get it. It was crispy, creamy, and had a delicious dipping sauce to accompany it! I asked for a side Caesar salad to start, and they ended up bringing me the entree salad (it was huge) but honestly this was so great. The toasted romaine, the crispy capers, it was probably one of my favorite Cesar salads I've ever had! I could have eaten all of it but I decided to save room for the main course - glad I did! I ordered the Seared Ribeye entree and folks... this was incredible. I don't know what impressed me more - the herb garlic butter (asked for extra to dip my broccolini into) - or the candied sangria onions... so unique and delicious! All of the elements worked SO well together... I couldn't leave a bite to spare. Oh and I stole a few truffle fries from my partner's plate.... 10/10. We celebrated the birthday dinner with a complimentary key lime pie, served with a blackberry compote of sorts - and it was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Ate here for the first time today with my husband and daughter. What drew me here initially was the grilled Caesar. You can't find it just anywhere but when it's on the menu I pounce. This one was exceptional. Two large and lovely romaine hearts were charred on the grill to perfection and topped with cheese, crispy capers, croutons and a lemony dressing to die for. I got my fix! My daughter got the burger and fries off the kids menu, which was moist and beefy and set between two perfectly toasted bun halves with what tasted like homemade ketchup. Hubs had the Southern caviar burger which he declared was one of the best he's ever had, served with delectable truffle fries. I had the bronzed scallops which were perfectly cooked, served in a creamy leek sauce full of fresh English peas - it was absolutely delightful. For dessert we had the dark chocolate orange cake which was incredibly moist and only slightly sweet, with a rich mascarpone mousse between the layers which perfectly accented the richness of the cake. Delicious. Love this place, their food and their service. Had a hankering for some avocado toast and some cream cheese bagels after my workout and ended up going to Boca. We also added in the fried green tomatoes for good measure:) The presentation of the dishes were quite colorful. We loved the mix of savory flavors in each of the dishes. My favorite was the bagel board with the house cured salmon, fried capers and fresh cream cheese blended with dill. The beet pickled boiled eggs were a nice touch. I completed my mission and ate every morsel of food on that board down to the last little bit of cream cheese. This was not on the menu at the time and hope it is still there! If you are ever in the area it's a nice place to grab a drink with rustic decor and seating inside and outside. With the cooler weather coming to Florida, this one of many places on Park Avenue you can hangout and eat outside while watching all the puppies stroll around. Getting the chance to try a tasting menu really highlighted the best of what this restaurant has to offer. There was a lot to try and I genuinely stuffed my face. The Brussels sprouts and lobster wontons were standouts. On the massive menu there were only a couple of misses for me which is impressive. And the drinks?! There are a lot of great places to get drinks in this town but they are absolutely hitting the mark here. I tried three seasonal cocktails and loved the autumnal vibes from each one. Service was fantastic, if you can get Jordan as a server you're lucky. Orlando's food scene is crowded in the best way so I'm very glad I got another chance to give Boca a second look. The other appetizer to try is the smoked fish dip with a sweet tangy sauce on some bread is delicious. Overall, all the food served to us was great. We started out with some easily shared apps - the Boca Muffin of the Day and the Parmesan Truffle Fries. The fries were crispy and fragrant and the muffin didn't look like anything special but turned out to be fluffy and delicious! And that apple butter is EVERYTHING! The brunch entrees were pretty straightforward. I ordered the bbq pork Benedict based on the reviews on Yelp and Instagram photos. The "Chefs magical dining creation" Conch&Shrimp fritters were crunchy on the outside with a delicious meaty inside topped with some ground mustard. My boyfriend enjoyed the Brie & Apple Flatbread starter with Granny Smith apples + air chilled chicken. I had the ginger crusted salmon which was cooked to perfection.
