Excellent service, great food and cozy place to dine! Definitely a must try! We tried a lovely brunch there w bottomless coffee :)

Simple standard breakfast fare. Bobby's has been at the Streetsville location for over 20 years and its all-day breakfast is well-known to locals. Food and recipes have been consistent. Regular favourites include Eggs with Bacon, Ham or Sausage, Homefries and Rye Toast; and Pancakes. If you have a big appetite, the Weekender might be for you. Eggs have always been cooked perfectly to order. The pancakes are soft and fluffy every time. Many of the meals are served with unlimited coffee or tea so prices are reasonable. Be prepared for a bit of a wait if you visit on weekends during the summer. The parking lot is small. Most of the time, our wait ranges from 5 to 20 minutes. However, service is usually quick. At the back of the restaurant, there is a tribute to iconic 'Bobs' if you can name them. The restaurant looks like a typical diner and had a bit of a face lift a number of years ago. read more

Located outside of the heart of Streetsville, this location is a favourite for locals. Limited parking around the restaurant. The friend asked me to try it as she has been bringing her family here for over 20 years. The server was friendly and left us socializing without much interruptions. Yes, we were there for about 3 hours. The menu is decently priced. The washroom is small, but clean. Photos of celebrities hang on the walls and some tvs. So it reminded me more of a pub place. My friend got a waffle with bacon strips, her indulgence. I tried their veggie omelette with home potatoes and rye bread. The omelette was a good portion however I could have eaten more potatoes. The presentation of the meal could be nicer/improved. There was nothing "wow" about this brunch. Verdict: it's popular with locals, but I'm there for the company. read more

Just an average breakfast joint. Will make this review very basic will divide into food/service/ambience. Let's starts with the food-So we ordered a stack of pancakes, salmon egg benedicts and corned beef hash. I judge every breakfast place with how well they they make their pancakes/waffles/french toast. This place makes very average pancakes definitely not the ones you would crave again. The salmon eggs benedicts were my favorite amongst everything I ordered. There was plenty of salmon, eggs were perfectly poached and the holandise sauce tasted great. The corned beef hash was meh.The beef hash was in a patty form definitely not the one I'm fond of and tasted not that great.Overall a 5/10. The best thing about dining here was their service.Absolutely fanatic. Our server kept checking on us, the food came out in a timely manner.Overall I interacted with 2/3 of their employees-all very super nice and pleasant. The ambiance is like any other diner-old school and cozy.Bathrooms are updated and clean.Lots of parking outside the restaurant. read more

I go to Bobby's frequently great service and great food coffee is excellent as is everything else ! I highly recommend

Bobby's Hideaway located in Mississauga is a cute little all day breakfast spot. Situated in Streetsville is this iconic diner style establishment. The walls are plastered with famous "Bobby's", the ambiance here is eccentric and intriguing. I came with work friends for breakfast and was seated right away. The service is really friendly. Decided on a Spanish omelette (the difference between this and vegetarian is that is has salsa inside). The food was prepared promptly and comes with a side of toast (choose between white, wheat or rye). The food presentation is pretty standard compared to other diners. The food tastes good too, but quite heavy. It's a neat spot if you're in the mood of a satisfying breakfast! I would check it out again when in the area! read more

Very good fish and chips. The line was loooong but it was a short wait. The staff and overall vibes is very nice.

Anyone who reads this - please do not go here. If you want to eat low quality store bought and blackened food for the price of +20 dollars a head, this place can guarantee that experience. 3 adults and a toddler - we only ordered 3 dishes - steak and eggs, corn beef hash, and pancakes with sausages. The steak was well-done even when ordered medium rare, the corn beef hash was mostly potatoes, and for a breakfast place, their pancakes were the absolute shock - it tasted like your low quality boxed mix with a heavy baking soda taste. All toast came burnt on the bottom with little care. The coffee tasted like coffee water. The only thing passable were the eggs. Looking at the pricing - the price of 3 low quality pancakes are $11.99. Adding a side of 3 low quality breakfast sausages brings that to $14.79 - which feels like robbery as other places have pancake dishes with all bacon, ham, and sausage for similar prices. Our toddler who loves pancakes showed little interest in eating more after a few bites. For a long time family runned business, we are shocked at the prices for the quality they provided. I will also mention that our wait staff forgot to input our order so there was an additional delay of 30 minutes until they checked again that our order didn't get placed. The service was just barely passable as many of the staff seemed nice but lacked experience (not asking for a lot of experience but just everything was lacking). As someone who just wants a reasonably priced and fun easy atmosphere - sharing my transparent feedback for all of you and for the owners to see. I'm surprised this many people still go there when there's a Panagios down the street with much better quality food and service for the price. I wanted to support a family runned business like Bobby's but I really don't think I can after going here today. Thank you - 1 star for the interior being kind of clean and updated and 1 more just for existing to this day charging the prices you do for the slop you served. read more

So let's talk about this place... First it's not good; it's GREAT. Why? : location, quaint Streetsville (joining Mississauga). Parking: a tad tight but surrounds the building. Ambiance: nice, clean family-style. Lots tables Prices: reasonable... no problem Food: We had omelets, pancakes, eggs... a fruit bowl. The fruit bowl was a mini-work of art and a great assortment. My order was scrambled eggs with Lester's Montreal smoked meat on the side... 6 oz of the stuff. Perfect! Kids and others had blueberry pancakes; The verdict was "delicious". Service: Y'know a place can be good but the service horrible. THIS place the food was great and the service even BETTER. Thanks to Veronique for her welcoming greeting, friendly and warm dealings with adults and kids alike. Veronique, you ARE the epitome of the super-professional... you cared about our table in all you did! Thanks!! One of the rare places that deserves a 20 out of 10 read more

Great place for breakfast. The waitress that served us really showed me better prices for what i wanted and overall the food was really good. The chocolate chip pancakes were awesome and delicious. The wait time to get seated was around 15-20 mins, it was really busy and packed. The toilets are gross though. They were not cleaned and had a stench. read more

I had a car appointment in the area so my boyfriend and I decided to come here for breakfast! We were seated within a few minutes. My boyfriend ordered the eggs Benedict and I got the corned beef hash breakfast. Both came with either tea or coffee and I believe no more than $16. We were so hunger and luckily for us the food arrived so quickly! My corned beef hash was so tasty and well made. The sauce on my boyfriend's eggs Benedict was separating so you know they make the sauce from scratch. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast read more

Just found my new favourite breakfast place in Mississauga! Bobby's is like an institution here, you can tell by the way they operate and the decor of the place. They've been around for 20+ years and for good reason. This is some great traditional breakfast. The cob salad was amazing and simply wowed us. There's close to twenty ingredients here and they the portion is massive. Their homemade dressing is to die for as well. It's cheesy, garlicky, with a hint of sour and citrus. It reminds me of a Ceasar dressing. There's plenty of grilled chicken here, there bacon, there's blue cheese, a hard boiled egg, and even avocado. It's a premium salad in terms of ingredients and the dressing brings it all together with all those wonderful greens. Highly recommended! Pancakes were amazing here as well. Fluffy with an extra denseness and eggy taste that I found delightful. There were three of them. The breakfast sausages really surprised me here, it was juicy and had a nice snap to them. I'd definitely get extra sausages next time! The coffee is bottomless here and they come often to refill it for you. Service was very efficient. Can't say they were ecstatic about serving you but they did make sure we were okay which is always a plus. read more

I have been looking forward to trying this restaurant for some time now, based on the number of positive Yelp reviews, and finally had the chance. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food and service. At the table we ordered the Corned Beef Hash breakfast, the Deep Fried Chicken Dinner, and the Villa Vienna Schnitzel. The corned beef hash tasted like it was from a can and not homemade. The fried chicken was not like southern deep-fried chicken, as it was just pieces of boneless and skinless chicken that were breaded and fried, making the chicken dry. In addition the breading was a bit bland. The mash potatoes that accompanied the chicken were also bland, and the vegetables were very salty. The schnitzel was not really pounded as flat as traditional schnitzel, so it was a bit thicker and tougher. The service was inconsistent. The hostess who greeted us was friendly, but seated us across from the washroom (which did smell), even though the restaurant was half empty. She did move us to a better location. The waitress was also friendly, but after the food was served, she was difficult to find, so we were waiting for a coffee refill, and I had to seek out another waitress when we were ready for the bill. In addition, during our meal, one of the staff started vacuuming the neighbouring tables and around our table. So, we could not find anyone when we wanted a coffee refill or the bill, but they were there to clean the floors, when we didn't. read more

Located in the quaint neighbourhood of Streetsville, in Mississauga, this is a family restaurant that makes you feel at home. The theme of the restaurant is quite unique; the owner's name is Bob so the theme is actors, athletes, musicians, and politicians named Bob - think Bobby Hull, Bob Marley, and Bobby Kennedy. The walls are decorated with caricatures of these (and many more) Bobs. The menu is wholesome family food: all day breakfast, burgers, and sandwiches. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. She recommended the corned beef platter which was a home run in my books; it came with coleslaw, a pickle, and choice of side - I went with the onion rings. Overall, this was a great experience and I will come back again. read more

The menu is simple....but they seem to have perfected simplicity. The fish and chips is exactly what you expect, nothing less and nothing more, but the tartar sauce (homemade i think) is fantastic. The coleslaw is delicious. The fries were okay. I love the location, I love the theme, and I love the decor. I will be back. read more

All in all the place is OK, I have had better! Lets get down to logistics of it: The FOOD: as we were three people we ordered a bunch of things... The portions were decent and food on overall basis tasted well, except the peameal Bacon as per my friend. The Pan cakes were huge. The only thing missing on the plates were the fruits which pretty much all breakfast joint provide. The PLACE: the place was open and wide. So it was breathable and not a small box fitted with some chairs. The seating were comfortable and they have various types of seats. The Service: The staff was polite, quick and nice. The Price: I think it was reasonably prices for breakfast when compared to other places and you can get a decent meal between $10 to $11. The only thing happened wrong was the cup they provided for tea wasn't washed properly but it was a quick fix and they provided a new cup. These things happen as I have worked in a restaurant and sometimes the dishwasher doesn't do much. Well if you are in Streetsville and need a place for breakfast this would be around the corner. read more

Since I am a sucker for good All Day breakfast food I had read the reviews on this place and booked marked it so I would give it a try. I was expecting it to be as good as the reviews. The service was Great, coffee very fresh even though it was about 2 or so. I ordered the Eggs Benedict as that is my favourite, but unfortunately I didn't think it was that good. I didn't like the sauce, the way the eggs were poached and thought the home fries were too greasy. read more

Ok this is another place that if you order things separately to save money, they're gonna f@ck you any way. Side of 3 eggs, toast, coffee was $10.80! What!? And they have no internet, this is getting ridiculous, so far the majority of breakfast joints in Mississauga have no wifi? The must have really old owners. Restaurant Review Cleanliness: Pass (Floors, tables, kitchen, washroom, utensils) Food Quality: Pass (Fresh, tasty, good ingredients, in-season) Service Quality: Pass (Professional, courteous, fast, caring) Atmosphere: Pass (Decor, noise, location, ambiance) Value: Pass (Prices, menu, portions, freebies) Total Score: 5/5 Bobby's Hideaway is an absolute gem that begs to be discovered and enjoyed on more than one occasion. This family owned business mixes traditional decor with good food and sincere service and it's a place I'll definitely return. The place is clean, I'm not going to say you should eat off the floor but the washroom smells like Mr Clean, the kitchen (albeit a little messy) was tidy and the tables and floors well maintained. I even observed a worker vacuuming around tables while I was enjoying breakfast. Although it's so nice to see a place dedicated to keeping things pristine, it was a little odd to have someone dance around your table with a vacuum cleaner during a meal. Still, it shows initiative and that's fantastic. The food was great. Your standard fare can be found here, from a variety of meats to enjoy with your eggs to pancakes and French toast and lots of options to substitute the heart stopping goodness of things you don't like with the things you do. I like my eggs over medium and hey were exactly over, and exactly medium. If you can cook an egg to perfection, it's a good sign of things to come. The meats were delicious and well cooked, I had ham, sausage and bacon. The menu was simple but offered enough choices for the typical stubborn fat bastard (ie myself) and if you can please my demanding tastes you can likely please anyone. The service was nothing short of spectacular. I was greeted with a warm and sincere welcome and led to my seat promptly. I was offered two menus (one for their all day breakfast and one for lunch) and given enough time to read through while enjoying a cup of earl grey. On more than one occasion I had an interaction with a waitress or worker who wasn't helping me directly and they were all wonderful people. Especially Bobby, his wife and daughter whom I had he pleasure of meeting and speaking about the business with. The atmosphere here is quaint, the decor can be updated to be a little more modern but it certainly didn't feel like a mid 1900's nursing home like some other places I've reviewed (names will not be mentioned) there were several screens to watch goings on of local news on, and the crowd in general seemed to be your average family out for a breakfast together. It was a calm and relaxed local joint that felt a lot like home. The prices weren't half bad either, if not a touch on the pricy side (only for some dishes). That being said the overall value for money was great, and although you won't find anything too special here outside of your typical all day breakfast, you'll not mind the extra cost when you consider the exceptional service and quality of the food. As previously mentioned the breakfast menu was compact but offered a plethora if choices all at pretty reasonable prices. Overall I'd recommend Bobby's Hideaway to first timers and veterans alike. It's a long drive for me, but worth it knowing I'll be treated right and have to adjust the suspension on my motorcycle when I'm done eating. Thanks Bobby, please keep up the great work. read more

A very nice breakfast diner. If you go on the weekend I'd suggest you avoid 10:00 am to 11:30 am as you can expect a 20-30 min wait. Larger groups (8-10) may have to wait longer. The coffee is decent and they will refill it frequently during your meal. My personal fave is The Big Bobby (1/2 lbs of ground round). I also ask for extra crispy home fries. The regular ones can be more like mushy potatoes. For lunch my daughter loves their Fish & Chips whereas my Mum and Dad love the Liver and Onions. The burger is decent as is the steak. Then again you can still ask for the Big Bobby for dinner. Yum. ;-) read more

A stand alone diner with its own lot around the building. We came on a Friday night and it's was half empty and there was plenty of parking and no wait. The staff was nice but once it got busy our server was nowhere to be found. I ordered Eggs Benedict and home fries which was good but not as filling as I'd liked. Still a great go-to breakfast place! I came back today with family from out of town and everyone enjoyed it! It was quite busy considering it's thanksgiving Monday but it was expected. But we got seated very quickly! There were about 3 groups ahead of us and they were seated within 7 minutes when we arrived. It was very busy but they managed to be super friendly and had everything under control! We were a table of 8 and waited no more than 10 minutes for our table. Food was good! Everything came at a reasonable time and all orders were correct. We got everything we needed and our waitress came back often to make sure everything was ok! she was super nice! The back of the restaurant was really hot though (it's not usually) so it was kinda uncomfortable but will still continue to come here! read more

Came here for brunch for the first time this past Sunday. Arrived around 2pm and it was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. I gave this amazing restaurant four stars. Even though it was extremely busy but the turnover & the service was quick. The food quality was excellent, it wasn't greasy and the portion was just right! The staffs are also friendly. I took away one star because the waiting area wasn't well organized. The boyfriend & I were looking for a different place for Sunday brunch & while Googling, this came up as highly recommended for places in Mississauga. Since the boyfriend already lives in Streetsville, it was a convenient place to go to. We called ahead since other reviews said to come in early for line ups. I called in at 11:45am & the guy who answered said there was barely a wait. We got there a little after 12:00pm & there was a bit of a wait, but they quickly sat smaller groups. The server we got was friendly & informative. She was prompt & attentive, giving us water without having to ask. I ordered the steak & eggs, the boyfriend ordered The Weekender. Both were large servings. My steak looked a lot fuller than 6oz, it wasn't like other breakfast/brunch places who serve steak & eggs where the steak is a flat dry piece of meat. The breakfast potatoes were AMAZING. As for my boyfriend's order, he had pancakes which were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. They were good with or without maple syrup. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for brunch. I don't think it's overpriced & the service is really good. For the both of us it came up to $40 after tip - not bad considering what we ordered. In fact, I thought the bill was going to be more. My only qualm is how customers have to wait to be seated; they weren't giving out numbers or taking names... If this is how it is with larger crowds, they need a system. Other than that, I think I found a new place for brunch. read more

First, there was very little parking and even though the parking lot was full the restaurant was half empty. While the outside of the restaurant looks to have been renovate the inside looks like it's from the 1970s. Even though smoking in restaurants hasn't been allowed for years the restaurant still smelled like it had a smoking section. The service was decent and I have no complaints about it. I ordered the corned beef hash. It was way overpriced at north of $13. I noticed that most of the menu items were laughably overpriced. It came with a couple eggs and two pieces of toast. It was 96% potato, and 4% smoked meat. Totally underwhelming. I won't be be back. read more

Wished they opened earlier actually, my morning train is at 7:40am at the Streetsville GO Station and they open at 7. So it wouldn't be a slow, enjoyable breakfast on the weekday.... Just a quick eat then pack the leftovers! They have large large portions of breakfast foods. The ham is big and thick, eggs are only decent (they're the average/small ones at grocery stores), the potatoes were alright, and most dishes come with a coffee/tea. Lots of the food and drink is just ordinary, but still a very big, hearty breakfast cooked with love. The service is pretty good, she looked mean when we came in (haha) but she's a very nice lady. For the price... hmm... it's quite expensive. Be sure to order what you CAN EAT, don't go for the large deals with lots of food, and you don't even finish it!!! (I'm pointing at myself) My plate lasted two breakfasts. read more

Came here with my friends cause one of my friends said she comes here all the time. The egg combo came with 3 pieces of sausage and a lot of home fries. We both got coffee, which is refillable. Our waiter was really really nice, he joked around with us a lot. The restaurant itself is really big and the atmosphere was really nice. Overall I would definitely come again whenever I have the time and am craving for an American breakfast. read more
