    Fried Chicken Sandwich

HIDDEN GEM. The kind of place you want to gatekeep, but it's too good not to share. The smoked brisket cheesesteak is my favorite. The sandwiches are huge and have so much flavor. The fries are seasoned and fried to perfection. And how they're not greasy, I have no clue, but they are delicious. Friendly service and such a cute little spot in Crockett. It's super clean and the interior is so inviting. Will definitely be back and 100% recommend.

Looking for a new place to try, I stumbled across their yelp page and we decided to come in and try it out. The inside is really nice and we were greeted and told to pick where to sit. Fried catfish was really good, crispy and cooked perfectly, paired well with the tartar sauce it came with. The mac n cheese that came with the fish was cheesy yummy goodness! And the Brussels were nice and crispy. I snuck a few bites of my sons burger and it was really good, even if he just got it with cheese the meat had great flavor, I would definitely order it with all the fixings. The wings were Smokey and the bbq sauce on them was good. The fries were nice and crispy with good flavor. The staff was really friendly and I would definitely come back to try something else!

Ok folks! This is the spot to eat! I'm telling you, it was so delicious. Their name implies it's a bbq joint to me. But their food is elevated soul food plus so much more. Wait staff, AMAZING! Interior design is funky sheik. Super clean and welcoming. Moving on to the stars of the night: Gnocchi 5+ stars Fried Catfish 5+ stars Short rib 5+ stars French fries, yum! 5 stars Chicken pot pie was fresh, with a flaky crust. There may have been chili powder in the gravy. Just fair warning. It's not spicy, just not what one may normally expect. Shout out to East Brothers Brewery. This place is supporting the locals! Gotta love that! Desserts I am going back soon for their Pavlova! Life changing! So sad we shared it 5 ways!Next time, I'm starting with that! Thank you! Thank you! For a delicious dinner & dessert tonight from all 5 of us!

Food: Had the pulled pork sandwich. It's east coast good I haven't had good pulled pork in the Bay Area and this was pretty on point. I could taste a little of the smoke and it was sauced with house made vinegar based sauce. It blended well with the creamy Cole slaw and gave you that umami bite with a hint of buttery bun. Fries were crispy and the tomato bisque was do not miss Inside: warehouse vibe with craft style lighting and southern comfort wood communal tables. Service: Both servers had swag and were on point making me feel welcomed and taken care of. I appreciate being treated well

New, and upcoming BBQ spot in the East Bay! Came there around lunch expecting BBQ, but they served brunch which was fine with me. Wife ordered the avocado toast and I had the smoked salmon over johnny cakes, both dishes were delicious! Spoke with Randy (one of the owners) and he was very hospitable and top notch service. He noticed the French press looked really grainy, so he took it back and replaced it with a fresh batch of coffee. While the brunch was really good, definitely coming back for the BBQ. Place is not too far from home also!

So happy to have a bbq joint near home. Easy parking, inside open space, bright and airy. Food was delicious. Tried the Crispy Boudin Balls which were so amazing and full of flavor. Then I had the brisket (moist and tender), ribs and pork sausage along with sides of slaw, mac & cheese (so good!) and baked beans (yum). The only thing I would have like is having more selection of bbq sauce. I wish there a sauce with a little heat to it. The staff were nice, friendly and one even made me an ice tea when they were out of it. He went above and beyond for doing that for me! Sorry I didn't get his name I will definitely come back again. Thank you for a great lunch experience.

So happy to find a really good food spot near Pinole. hubby and I went 2x in one weekend and ordered the same things because it was so good. He got the cheesesteak and I got the braised short rib over grits. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Service Is excellent and the vibe is chill - perfect for a casual date night, group dinner, or even family meal (we brought our toddler both nights). Food:11/10 Service: 10/10 Vibe:10/10

The BEST BBQ I have ever had. The sausage link was literally the most delicious sausage I have ever had in my life. I said that three times during dinner yesterday. Pulled pork and ribs are to die for. Not one bite was dry and they didn't cover it all up in sauce. But the sauce they use is absolutely amazing. Not too sweet or salty like you get at a lot of places. Mac and cheese was great too. As was the Caesar and the ball appetizer thing we had (I forget the name). Dressing is made there so it's authentic and not from a bottle. Nice selection of beers. Casual ambiance. It is a bit of a wait but definitely worth it. We will be back!

First we were caught off guard with the new menu and we thought let's just go and get something else elsewhere. But we decided to give it a try, and boy was I happy we did . I had breakfast 2 eggs and Country potato's and a waffle. Man look the potatoes were seasoned ooooweeeee seasoned good and the waffle was smacking good . Please don't run away. Give them a try

OMG This place is absolutely delicious!!! So happy they're in town ... The food is amazing and made with love! You can tell the chef puts his all into it. My last visit he was handing out these hog head cheese plates for customers to try - it was so good! Everyone enjoyed the food and friendly service from the staff. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful as well! Definitely a place you can bring your family/ friends and enjoy a good meal I've been here multiple times since - and so will you!

    Pickled veggies

All I can say is WOW. I found this place on Yelp on our roadtrip back to Sacramento and it did not disappoint. I called because I have a dairy allergy and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me. She even sent me a picture of the menu with the items I could eat. The brisket was the best we have had in a long time. We got the lean cut and it was so tender! We also got the brisket tacos. I was pleased to see that there were 5 since they were more street style. The homemade pickled veggies were also a huge hit. We are bummed this place isn't closer to home! Definitely worth the detour. I would have more photos but we couldn't wait to eat

Brisket cheesesteak and steak frites - so good!!

What a pleasant surprise! A hidden gem in Crockett. I was sad to see Wanda's go but am happy to welcome Bobby Mac's! The service was wonderful. Came in for lunch right as they opened and people slowly trickled in for lunch time. Very simplistic menu, I like that they give you options for salad or fries. I tried both and really enjoyed their garden salad which paired nicely with the heavier brisket. I can tell that their meats is the star of the show! I'm not a huge bbq person but I truly enjoyed my brisket sandwich. Their steak plate was also super tasty, we asked for medium rare and it came a little more well but still juicy and tender. Overall very pleased! The space is super nice and I enjoy the communal style seating arrangements. Will definitely be back!

This place is pretty much a stones throw away from the ocean or body of water in Benicia. The folks here are super friendly and kind. You go up to order from a window and find a seat or stand around, depending on whether you wanna eat there or take your food to go. I opted to dine there and the place is super chill. On my trips, I've ordered the po'boy and gumbo combo on one visit and had the catfish bites with the hush puppies on another visit. The food each time was prepared really well and the fried items were perfectly crispy. The gumbo was delicious without being too spicy although there's a plethora of hot sauces on the tables for you if you want to spice up your food even more. This place made me feel nostalgic for the handful of times I visited New Orleans and it made me miss Louisiana food, even while I was eating a good representation of it lol. It made me think about one of my favorite restaurants ever which is Jacques-Imo's. Just a great option for lunch, especially if you want to try Louisiana style Cajun food. There's plenty of parking around as well.
