Worst experience on New Year's Eve I was really excited to try this place. I got a discount coupon that expires soon, so I showed it to the owner. Even though it says 2019, the owner kept saying that I have 2018 year coupon lol. I was okay to pay full price though. However, they didn't even make any of our food when there were only 3 groups including us. I waited for 40 min, but the owners didn't even say sorry. I love how this place is open at 7am Mon-Fri! Sometimes I just need my boba fix early in the morning and this place is just the spot. The only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because of the level of noise. This review is from the standpoint of someone trying to study. I got here around 5pm on a Sunday and for the first hour it was completely fine. When dinner time came around groups started congregating here and the noise level got so loud I couldn't focus on getting any work done. The food/drink on the other hand along with the cleanliness of the cafe would be at 4 stars. Parkin is not an issue and the staff members are friendly. read more

I was surprised that they used normal cups and plastic covers unlike the fancy custom cups and sealed tight covers (which is a not a big deal to me). The cashier was nice to us on this visit. When it was brought out and took the first sip it was good but then as I continued to drink it was very concentrated since they use powder boba , and it was VERRYYYYY SWEET to my liking . After perhaps 5 drinks it was all done ! Since the cup was filled with ice . Worst boba stop I have ever been to . In my opinion they shouldn't put so much ice . 3.5 stars for being just ok. 4 stars for location. Easy parking and access to the Korean shopping Center. And easy to find if you just look for the pho and little cAesars. 3 stars for the selection. For it being having boba in the name, there's only a few selection of milk teas (which you typically find boba in ?) oh,..and the chai was out the last couple times I've visited. Because the menu said, toast and tea combo price was $9.99. And she charged $10.74 without any explain. If you changed your menu price on pos, you should change your dining and togo menu price for all your valued customers. I know that you charge $0.50 for togo order. $9.99 + $0.5 = $10.49. $10.49 is still cheaper amount than what I paid this morning($10.79). This is a brand new spot inFullerton that well deserves an attention and a visit. The venue has a good atmosphere and Korean music pumping in the background. Their specialty is boba milk tea as the name suggests. They got the boba milk tea down to the point. Milk tea has a rich tea flavor, not like the dollar milk tea powder stuff (you know what I'm talking about if you had one). Boba is cooked well, not too soft or hard. My drink came out in a brief time, which is great! This place also have a dedicated cook for cooking some of the Korean favorite eats like rolled rice and spicy rice cake. And they do have a bean paste shaved ice, I gotta try that next time. Overall it's in a good spot where a decent choice for a quick boba fix was missing, so if you are in the neighborhood or just like to try a new Boba place in Fullerton, I'd highly recommend to give it a go. read more

They have a ton of food options for lunch but I only came here to try the boba. I got the black milk tea and it was flavorful and I could really taste the tea. My wife had the BLT, which was lightly toasted and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients! We ate the combo choice of kimbab, ttuk ppok ee and the fried dumplings. The food came out fairly quick and it was pretty good. The ttuk ppok ee was at just the right spicy level and the kimbab was a bit salty. But it was still good food. The dumplings were okay. The combo meal was enough food to share among three of us. We also got drinks. My mom got the mango peach smoothie with boba and I got black milk tea with boba. I got too full by the end of the meal. Nothing too crazy or interesting stands out. The cashier was friendly. Our orders consisted of 3 different drinks. A caramel salted frappe, a hot mocha and a chai latte. We also ordered 2 tayaki fishes, one Nutella and one custard. The fishes were decent, seemed a bit undercooked but decent size and tasted ok. Drinks were ok too, nothing to special. The frappe however did taste a little off. Overall I'd give this place a solid 3/5 stars. It's decent tasting, good place to hang out, but awkward without too much music and things echo enough that people can hear your conversation. Good service. Good place to study tho. I ordered milk tea with boba and mojito iced coffee. The service was good and the wait time was reasonable. The milk tea boba was really good, as i do not like those syrupy types of milk tea drinks. It was pretty legit and its sweetness was to its perfection. I was able to taste the tea and also a slight hint of milk and they were well mixed. I do not like those milk-down milk teas but their milk tea had its deep taste of the tea. The two substances (the milk and the tea, duh) did not over power each other and it was really good. Okay, so the mojito coffee. For those who have tasted Phil's coffee style mojito coffee, here's the good news. They were very similar. There's nothing i can say about this coffee. Enough said. It was good and i will definitely get it again next time. Since i like milk tea boba the most, i will probably suggest my friend to order the mojito coffee so i can take a sip or two of it and have the milk tea boba all to myself :) The roll cakes looked really good, but i decided to try those next time. I give this boba spot 5 stars because the boba drinks are authentic, meaning it's fresh and I can substitute the milk for soy milk. I got matcha green tea iced and it was delicious. Also I got the famous Korean cake that are shaped as fish, forgot what they're called, but super delicious and also fresh ingredients. Super authentic! The only thing is that there was only one person working and I felt bad for the lady because she needs so much help in her business. I didn't realize this was the establishment that replaced Okbingsul awhile back (though this also shows how long it's been since I've been in this area) but at least it was a familiar Korean plaza in Fullerton when I pulled up inside! I got their Cafe Mocha along with a Spicy Fish Kimbap to order. The service here was decent although it was a bit of a hit or miss even during the couple of minutes I was there. The atmosphere tends to draw an older crowd though since I noticed that there was usually groups of workers gathering together after a night of work, etc. Besides that, the drink and food were great! I did feel that the kimbap wasn't well-formed because it did keep falling apart every time I tried to pick it up with the chopstick (and I was sure it wasn't me after the fourth try) although I will give kudos for the amount of filling they gave (so much!!!). The cafe mocha was also really nice as well, it wasn't overpoweringly sweet nor too bitter as well which can happen at times. I wasn't there for too long but I would definitely come back again in the future to see what else they have to offer and maybe try their other food options too! read more

I got beef gimbab and jjolmyun togo. I was shocked at how fat the gimbab was and how packed it was with good ingredients! I think this is my favorite beef gimbab! Jjolmyun was fire too, not too spicy but perfect combo of sweet, sour, spicy. The kitchen lady knows how to cook. If you're looking for a boba store, the name of this place is definitely deceiving. It is more like a cafe that serves boba, than a place that specializes in boba. BobaYolo is the perfect place for a student who wants to study. There's free wifi available (just look at the cash register, and it has the wifi name and pw). While I was there I saw a couple medium sized groups of young adults enjoying themselves. In terms of the drinks, that's where my star review goes down. I got a regular boba milk tea with boba. My huband selected the jasmine milk tea with boba. Both drinks didn't taste like anything special. They use plastic covers, instead of the sealed covers like other boba places.
