Yuzu slush (lemon rind and ginger)
    Sydney C.

Came in for a quick boba run after a meal. We ordered two drinks: a Yuzu Slush with lemon rind and ginger and a Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea. The yuzu slush was bright, citrusy, and refreshing with a subtle bitterness from the lemon rind that kept it from being overly sweet. The ginger added a nice little kick of warmth that was perfect on a cold, windy day. There was a bit of a wait for the sea salt caramel drink, and when it finally came out, it turned out to be a sea salt caramel slush instead of the milk tea we ordered. We didn't want to make a fuss, so we just went with it. The slush was creamy, well-balanced, and not cloying at all. Service may have been a little slow, but the drinks were good. I appreciate spots that get flavors right and aren't afraid to lean into more complex profiles instead of just sugar-on-sugar. This definitely looked like a place that had regulars and was a cozy spot to get some boba.

Went because my sister wanted a boba drink.. she REALLY liked the boba BUT she wasn't a fan of the drink. She got a Thai Tea, I got a Strawberry Mango slush. My slush tasted off, like it had perfume residue in it or something, not a fan. We both didn't finish our drinks. The lighting was dem and intimate but wasn't an intimate setting. The establishment was clean. The table rocked, bad. Wasn't a fan.

This place is generally just eh. The ambiance was interesting.. the noise level was average but all the chairs/furniture is mismatched. The drink itself wasn't that bad. I got the chai vanilla (30% sugar) which wasn't that sweet. The drink itself was (surprisingly) very small, for 4.50 dollars. It kind of tastes like what you'd imagine a candle to taste like (if it tasted like what it smelled like) We also got the popcorn chicken which took a bit long to make but it was hot and fresh. It was pretty good. It's not like this place is bad, it's just not great you know?

Best Korean boba café ever! Such a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a casual sip of boba with some tasty food. I ordered the mango smoothie, recommended by a super cool staff member, and it was bomb--creamy, fresh, and hydrating! I paired it with the popcorn chicken, and honestly, it was the best decision of my life--crispy, crunchy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The process is simple: order at the counter, pay, grab a comfy seat, and they'll bring your food and drinks right to you. The place is super clean, comfortable, and has a great vibe. 10/10, 5 stars! Highly recommend if you're looking to chill and enjoy some amazing boba and bites.

    Bacon Kimbap. Don katsu

One of the best boba places in my go-to list - I've been going to BobaYolo for almost three years now and both their drinks and food are BOMB! Food has big portions and big flavors my favorites for food are the bacon kimbap, donkatsu, and jjolmyun. This time around I got their spicy rice cakes though (tteokbokki), overall experience was excellent! Service was quick, and had a very casual after school or work type of vibe to it. I'll come back again and again :)

I opened this up after 5 mins in the car, It was undercooked, and so soggy.Horrible. And they never answer the phone! 9-26-25@2:46pm

I opened this up after 5mins in the car, it was undercooked, and so soggy. Horrible and disappointed. And they never answer the phone. I reported this issue the next day by phone. They listened carefully and resolved it well. They were attentive to customer feedback and handled the situation effectively, so I was satisfied.

jolmyeon, rosé tteokboki, beef & spicy fish cake kimbab, donkatsu

Such a cute/vintage korean bunshik restaurant, definitely reminds me of small homey restaurants in korea. Food was really good, we ordered the jolmyeon, rosé tteokboki, 2 kimbabs and the donkatsu and the sweet potato fries! service was very quick, efficient, and attentive. Would recommend & come again!

Black Milk Tea with Boba Iced

First time visiting and ordered the black milk tea iced with boba. Paid $5.00 for the boba drink and it tasted more like a iced sugary drink and very bland taste. Disappointed and I will not get boba here next time. How can you go wrong with a regular iced milk tea with boba?! I came by and ordered in at a busy lunch time with customers dining in and the drink came out fast. However they also have a Korean food menu, which I will consider to try next time if I do come back to help support small businesses. 3 stars for the friendly staff and customer service.

Located in a shopping plaza and nestled in between many different shops, boba yolo can easily be spotted by their signage that makes them stick out a bit more than other shops. The menu here is a fairly comprehensive menu that includes more than just boba, but food as well. The employees looked more bothered having to help someone than anything. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba. The boba was older and a bit more chewy than enjoyable. The milk tea itself was really good.

Love this spot! Definitely a 5/5 for me…read more The late hours originally brought us in--we were looking for coffee around 8 p.m., and finding a shop open until 11 p.m. was such a win. It's in a plaza with plenty of other shops nearby, but parking has always been easy and accessible when we've gone. I got the Cream Top Biscoff Latte and loved it! Smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet or milky. My partner got an Iced Vanilla Latte with Vanilla Cream Top and really enjoyed his too. The shop itself has a cozy atmosphere with a good variety of seating, whether you want to work, study, or just hang out. Service has always been friendly, and I like that you can order with the barista or use the self-service kiosks when things get busier. Great drinks, comfortable atmosphere, convenient hours, and an easy place to keep coming back to!

However, everytime I came by recently, it felt like the people who are there to study, hang out, etc. Are very rude. - I opened the door for a couple walking out as I walked in, they glared at me, and passed. I was just like "....ok?". - The lines for the Kiosk/Register is very unorganized, I couldn't tell which one was which, everytime I go there are groups that just like go from behind to squeeze in next to me for their group, even pushing me and not saying excuse me, and they continue being loud. Besides that, just the vibe of the place now is very uncomfortable. If anything, I'll just start ordering online/pick up from now on. I'll still have to deal with those type of people and can't change it, but it's better than waiting and being around those type of individuals

The written menu advertises nondairy milk and ingredient modifications, but the kiosk doesn't actually let you select any of them. Staff told us to put substitutions in "special comments" and promised they'd be honored. They weren't- on a single order, twice. We ordered two coffees (oat milk, whole milk) and two customized breakfast burritos. It took 40 minutes. We were the only customers in the cafe. When the food came out, nothing was labeled / not the drinks, not the burritos- and staff couldn't tell us which was which. When I explained that one of us has a dairy allergy and asked them to identify the allergen-free items, I got a blank stare. We opened both burritos: both had cheese, despite my explicit no-cheese request. Their solution? "Can you pick it out?" No. You cannot pick out melted cheese from an allergen order. I was not offered a fresh burrito, just another blank stare until I specifically stated "I need you to remake this with the proper ingredients and confirm what you put in." Once again the burrito came out with no label, and when I asked for clarity on what was in it I was again met me with a blank stare. My partner's burrito was also wrong (pico she'd asked to have removed), but by then the 40-minute wait had made her late for work. When I asked for a refund on her incorrect meal, I was told they couldn't refund it "because she left." When I asked to leave written feedback: "we don't accept written feedback." Manager? Not in. Manager's phone number? Don't have it. But here's what pushed this from bad service to abominable: there is no way to hold this place accountable. At no point did anyone acknowledge a mistake had been made or make any real attempt to fix it- every wrong order was met with a shrug and the expectation that I'd just live with it. When I asked to leave written feedback, I was told they don't accept it. When I asked for the manager, they weren't in. When I asked for a manager's phone number or someone to contact, the employee "didn't have access to that." A business that serves people with food allergies MUST have a way for customers to flag problems in real time and reach management. This place has built a system where mistakes can't be reported, refunds can't be issued, and no one is responsible for anything. To be clear, this isn't on the line staff - one employee clearly hadn't been given the language support or training to succeed, and that's a management failure. The other younger employee was just incompetent and unhelpful, even though she was clearly aware of the requests. If you advertise allergen accommodations, you have to execute them, label them, and answer for it when you don't. Until this place fixes its ordering system, its labeling, and its total lack of accountability, spend your money literally anywhere else.

The moment I heard they served it here, I knew we had to go. Even though we sampled a few flavors, we had to go with ashta. We also ordered the knafeh, which is one of my favorite desserts of all time. Even with the large Middle Eastern food scene in Los Angeles, it can be surprisingly difficult to find knafeh made the way I personally enjoy it. A lot of places serve versions that are extremely cheesy or oily, when knafeh should really be an entire experience. You want the crunch of the pastry, the softness and saltiness of the cheese, and enough syrup to bring everything together without overpowering it. The knafeh here was simple but very well balanced. We covered it in syrup, but it was not overwhelmingly sweet or heavy enough to leave you crashing afterward. It also tasted evenly heated throughout, rather than scorching hot in one section and cool in another, which sometimes happens when knafeh has simply been reheated. We added pistachio booza on top, and it elevated the entire dessert. The cold, creamy pistachio flavor paired beautifully with the warm knafeh, while still tasting familiar and traditional. This is not necessarily the place to visit for flashy, TikTok-style dessert creations or highly modernized flavors. It is more like a small, family-run shop focused on traditional and comforting flavors, and I think that is exactly what makes it such a great addition to Anaheim. I would definitely come back to try more of their desserts and booza flavors. My only disappointment was that we wanted to take home a pint of the ashta booza, but they had already sold out.
