Really enjoying this new boba shop in town. Love that there's no extra charge for oat milk--a big plus if you're lactose intolerant. They're currently running a buy a drink, get a super cute bun deal, which was a hit with my kids. They're already asking to go back tomorrow! Service is excellent also. Not sure if the guy I spoke with was the owner but he's very patient and nice.

Delicious boba, and such a cute spot!! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see all of the cute Christmas decorations in the store and the other art. They have a big boba statue outside. The shop is located in downtown Walnut Creek near lots of shops and restaurants. I've tried out a few boba places in this area and this one is my new favorite. As I waiting for my drinks I took a look at their menu and they have very unique seasonal items that I want to go back to try. The worker was also super nice! My drinks were made very fast and they were delicious. They both had a lot of boba, which I liked.

A very nice boba place. The boba and drink are both very good. The chocolate bao is very delicious as well. My only complaint is the brown sugar boba is not really brown sugar boba. At least not very fresh. So far I am very disappointed of finding perfect brown sugar boba except Yi-Fan in Berkeley. Well alas! That's why one star off!

Creme Brulee Boba was very good! Tea could be stronger for the fruit tea. Street parking was convenient and easy to find. Metered parking. Right next to a pretty good dumpling place too. Service was accurate, could have been faster. Ambiance was quite nice. A great place to sit, study, hangout, have a zoom meeting, etc.

When I read a review that said best boba tea in the world, you know I had to come. I ordered: ROASTED ROYAL OOLONG TEA LIGHT SWEETNESS LIGHT ICE with honey boba and coffee jelly - interesting that they (from my experience) are the only establishment that provides differing boba selections of honey boba and brown sugar boba.. you can definitely taste the honey... QQ + chewy = well cooked - regrets of picking coffee jelly... too generic and waaaayyyy too much of it in the drink... very crunchy and not very refreshing. I only picked this because I really really really wanted grass jelly. - thorough oolong taste with no bitter after taste --I love love love that they allow you to pick the "milk base" at no extra charge!!! They have 3 options: ORGANIC whole milk, oat milk, soy milk. - utilizes organic teas - took them 10 minutes to make the drink (parking meter started as 18 minutes and when I went back it was 8 minutes) All of the food menu was out of stock. Service: - they literally hand you your drink and comments to shake it well - service fairly nonexistent as they make you order through a kiosk but they will help and take your order if needed - willing to answer all and any questions in a kind manner - I asked where the bathroom is (no code needed) and they guy making the drinks friendly tells me where it is whereas there were 2 workers sitting with one using a laptop who just points Ambience: - can seriously sit chill chat and relax - modern decor - truly a clean bathroom Location: - can be problematic as it's in downtown Walnut Creek - I didn't drive around and just took the first spot I saw which was street parking charging at a rate of 25 cents for 18 minutes. - there's not much to do and eat in the area...unless you take a stroll Why not 5 stars? - needs more toppings selection (brownie points if they are creative!) - weak TP in the bathroom - limited options... wished there were more fruity drinks and more creative tea drinks (I am surprised they haven't entered the world of grapes and blending the teas) - no food available - wish for better cups

    Bao babies - so cute!

My daughter loved seeing the huge Boba Studio art figure outside (which rolls around, so be careful) - this caught our eye and we strolled on in. Easy ordering using the two touchscreens. Super cute "bao babies" that takes about 10 minutes to steam. There's about 18 seats inside. Cute decor. Love that they use fresh fruit instead of fruit puree like most boba cafes. Husband and I liked our brown sugar boba tea (boba tasted fresh!), and son loved his mango smoothie. The kids loved the cute bao babies - daughter loved the custard chick and son loved the taro penguin. We will be back when we need our boba fix!

I had been here a few times and it is always consistent. You can order via Kiosk or pay cash through the cashier. I almost always get the Tiger Sugar or the Coffee Creme Bruelle Boba. You can have the option of Oatmilk as the dairy and they torch the sugar topping in front of you. It's never too long of a wait and they also have some food options. Definitely my go to place for Creme Bruelle Bobas when I get to the other place in Dublin.

This place's hojicha is really yummy. I got soy milk with my drink for no extra charge which is so rare in this economy. In my head this was just a regular green milk tea but you can taste the earthiness of the hojicha! The brown sugar boba oddly enough compliments the drink pretty well. I got Half Sugar and I think if you're gonna get boba it's worth skimping on the sweetness. And when I asked for less ice they did indeed give me an okay amount of ice which is so classy of them. There are restrooms in the back too. They also have WiFi. The place is relatively quiet compared to other boba shops where the music is blasting so loud you feel like it's on purpose to get you to leave but no. Boba Studio is classy. They play bossa nova and jazz at an appropriate volume. I can see myself coming here to get work done and study because they also have snacks and outlets if only I lived closer.

I was surprised that there was a boba shop here in WC next to Dumpling Hours. Came here on a rainy day to get out of the house. Hojicha with Brown Suga Boba- 3.5/5. Boba was so flavorful and chewy like a mochi/ rice cakes. HOWEVER, the tea was just there. It lacked UMPH. I would ask for less ice next time. Matcha Mango for Hubs- 4/5. This was my favorite. Hubs got less ice. Full of flavor. Nice mango flavor. Matcha with Strawberry for DD- 4/5 A bit too sweet but nice flavor. The chicken nuggets and mozzarella sticks were nice crunchy flavorful. 4/5

Ordered the hojicha milk tea with brown sugar boba. The boba was delicious!! Not too chewy, still soft, and still warm. Chef's kiss. The tea was a let down though. I ordered it with the least amount of ice possible because I knew it was a hot day and I didn't want it to get watered down. Unfortunately, from the first sip, it already tasted watered down. Such a bummer!

I'm writing this review as I drink this brown sugar, Boba with cheese foam and 30% ice. HANDS DOWN the best brown sugar bubble milk tea I've ever had. The tapioca pearls are super fresh and soft, I have never had them like this before! The drink itself is delicious! I am obsessed!!!!!!! I usually order without the pearls, but this time I forgot and I'm glad I made that mistake because WOW!!!! The place is nice and clean, very cute decor. Bathroom was clean as well. The owner was super sweet and nice.

This is a solid spot to get some boba in downtown Walnut Creek. They have a kiosk to order from in front of the counter, and it doesn't take too long to receive your drinks after you've placed an order. I like how they optimize the space and manage to fit a decent amount of tables and chairs to sit inside. The tea itself is pretty standard and costs about average for the area.

Boba Studio is located right next to Dumpling Hours, and offers a variety of drink options for those who are looking for an after meal sweets. The decor here is cute, as it's got that outdoor vibe, indoors going for it. Not a whole lot of seats inside, but can seat some tables, but wouldn't recommend bringing a big party here to sit and drink. All the order is automated at the kiosk, so it's pretty straight forward when you go in. Though if you want to take a look at the menu just go to the counter as it's all there. Pricing wise, it's certainly reasonable considering that most boba places not in the downtown area now costs about this much, so can't complain. So let's get to the boba. I felt the drink was alright. The milk tea I got tasted roughly the same as other spots, though, I still feel this tastes better than Mr.Green's milk tea, so there's that going for it. I feel the boba here was alright too. The texture was good, so no issues with that as it had just the right amount of qqness to it I would like, but the downside is that the boba I had on this day tasted like nothing unfortunately. Boba Studio is another boba offering here in WC downtown, where there's literally other boba spots in every other direction around here. Compared to all the other boba spots in the area, I would say it's about on par with the better ones. Will try them again in the future the next time I drop by.

He ended up ordering an iced turkish coffee with milk. It was hot outside, so I went in to grab some water. Their water container was not only basically empty, but it was also warm. Gross. I decided I would rather pay for a cup of iced water (because in a lot of the places I've been to, they charge for it). I go up to the register and ask if I can buy a plastic cup with iced water. The cashier/pastry cook/barista says, "Water?" and I repeat that I want a cup with iced water. She says, "Ice?" and I say, yes please. She goes right next to where the other barista is and she grab a scoop full of ice and gestures it to me. I'm kind of confused by this point, and it seems like the other barista is too. And then I ask again if I can get it in a plastic cup. Then the other barista points to one of the paper cups next to the warm water container, but then I ask them again if I could please get it in one of the cups they have, (because I wanted to be able to carry it around with a lid). That's when the other barista says, "You're doing too much, but okay." And she passes me the plastic cup, without a lid, acting as if I just asked her for her whole paycheck and half the drinks on the menu. I'm definitely annoyed at this point, but I don't care enough to be rude back. Then she says she's going to fill up the container. So she goes, gets the container to fill it up, and I'm there waiting with my friend in the store. It looks like she's the only barista there, so it keeps taking a little longer for the drink(s) to come out. When she finally comes back with a semi-filled container, I'm conversing with my friend, when she turns sharply and says, "Were you going to order anything??" in a pretty snappy tone, as if I'm only worth giving a plastic cup to if I'm going to order more. We reply that we already ordered, and she goes back to finish drinks that a previous customer had ordered. It's two drinks, and I assume that it took about 12-15 minutes for them to receive what looked like small hot drinks. I say this because these customers were sitting there well before my friend and I arrived, took time to order, and then were waiting for our drinks. After that, we're still waiting while she goes to take orders, and that's when the cashier/pastry cook/barista woman finishes my friends drink... after having stood there FOREVER while the other barista was going in circles. I was shocked to say the least, kind of amused, but also disappointed because these customers drink was about 8-9 bucks, the wait time was about 8-10 minutes, and the drink was disgusting. Actually insane. I don't recommend this place whatsoever. Place looks mid, service was abominable, and the workers look like they hate each other and anyone who asks for a plastic cup with iced water. Do better, and preferably give us back our money for the nasty drink+attitude combo.

Before we got deep into our drive, we wanted to stop for some coffee, and this spot happened to be open and on our way. We're not super familiar with coffee in the Bay Area, and for most of our trip we hadn't chosen great shops to visit. Panama Bay, however, really surprised us. A lot about this spot felt unassuming to us. It's a small cottage on the corner that stands out from the taller, more modern apartment buildings around it. There's not much space indoors. All of their seating is outdoors, located next to their outdoor pickup window. It's a little more offbeat than your average coffee spot, but it's really charming. The great service was one of the first things I noticed. Our two baristas were very friendly, chatting with us about our trip, and giving menu recommendations. All of this was greatly appreciated, especially since their menu has many options. They had an extensive list of syrup flavors, lattes, pour over coffee, and breakfast sandwiches. I grabbed a banana latte, and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was flavorful, and the sandwich has the best chipotle mayo. My partner tried the Mayan pour over, and he really loved his drink. Everything that we ordered was fantastic, and the friendly baristas really made our visit. This was easily the best coffee spot we visited during our trip I definitely recommend dropping by this spot if you're nearby, and I'll definitely be back in the future if I'm ever back up north.

The baristas were friendly and welcoming and made a great cappuchino. Highly recommend!

Meh. I've been here twice and I have to say, it's just an average overpriced spot. That does seem…read moreto be the trend nowadays with coffee shops, but still... First time, staff was friendly and my cappuccino was good. Not great, but good. The Place was crowded, but not terrible. However, most people were on their laptops "working". Second time, place is packed and almost everyone is on their laptop "working". Feels like a wework cafe. Staff? Seemingly bored and not thrilled about my order. I asked for an espresso with a significant amount of steamed milk and foam. What I got? A dribble barley filling the bottom of the cup (which was to go, and I ordered to stay). Finally, they don't take cash. Cash is king. Would I go back? Nope. I don't know Walnut Creek very well but assuredly, there's other places that are more suitable for me.

Prologue Coffee & Tea is a small café operating inside the Walnut Creek Library in downtown (Walnut…read moreCreek has two libraries). Although the location is not prominent, pictures of their beautifully crafted drinks and delicious bánh mì sandwiches have been spreading across different social media platforms. So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - You can either park at the library lot, Civic Park, or the Broadway city garage a block away. - Contactless payment. - They have limited indoor and outdoor seating.

I ordered a Vietnamese coffee + banana milk. I enjoyed it but wouldn't order it again. I think I would just get regular shots of espresso + the banana milk. The inside of the coffee shop is very cozy. They had a few tables and barstools if you need to sit down. They also have a variety of food options.
